Getting Around:
Waiheke Island is approximately 20 km long. Most visitor areas and many holiday homes are located within the first 10 km from the ferry side of the island.
A vehicle is strongly recommended for this property because of the steep dirt-road access. A 4WD is required year-round.
Taxis are available on Waiheke, and some taxi providers can supply 4WD transport. Regular bus services operate around the island, but guests should not rely on buses for the final property access without checking routes and stops in advance.
Other Things to Note:

Once these starter items have been used, guests are responsible for purchasing any additional supplies needed during their stay.
For properties with a fireplace, stays between 1 June and 30 September include a starter supply of firewood. Additional firewood can be purchased from local petrol stations, Woolworths, Four Square, and Mitre 10.
Beach towels are provided at this property.
Please Note: This property has dirt road access for part of the way off the main road and is steep in parts. You will require 4WD access People mover vans that are not 4WD are not recommended as they are generally too light in the rear end for the ascent.
