Welcome to our beautifully crafted Northwest home, where you can enjoy stunning year-round sunsets and over 400 ft. of rocky shoreline!

With end-of-the-road privacy, the home features a gorgeous stone fireplace, a Chef's Kitchen, and heated tile flooring. Fiber optic internet makes remote work a breeze while adventure awaits right outside! Relax on the sun-filled decks, stroll through the Madrona trees, or cozy up around the outdoor fireplace. Hook's Nest is the perfect island getaway.

Though we enjoy meeting our guests, we do offer a contactless check-in process. You'll receive directions and access information a few days before your arrival date. Once your reservation is confirmed, you'll receive our Host's contact information, so you can reach out for any special requests or questions.

Set in a quiet, rural neighborhood just minutes from the Orcas Island Ferry landing, Hook's Nest is one of several exclusive waterfront homes in this neighborhood. With five acres and a private driveway, you'll be able to enjoy the peace and privacy of this exquisite location.

Our beautiful Craftsman home features a main-level master bedroom ensuite with a king bed and a walk-in closet. The private bathroom boasts heated floors, a walk-in shower, and stunning custom tile work. On the third level, you'll find two cozy bedrooms, each with a queen bed and a shared bathroom that includes a tub and shower combo, also with heated floors and custom tile.

The lower level is perfect for family fun, featuring a spacious family room, another full bathroom, and a media room with three extra twin beds—ideal for kids and young adults!

Designed by Vandervort Architects, our home blends sustainability with its natural setting. Placed along the southwest-facing water's edge, surrounded by five acres of Madrona and Fir trees, this home is intentionally designed to take in the breathtaking sunsets and enjoy the abundant wildlife every day! đŸŒČ

Beautiful Vacation

This was our fourth stop on a family road trip and I would have to give it an overall A. We’ve been to the orcas Islands before and absolutely love them, and if you pair that with this house and such an amazing location, it made for an amazing family vacation. House is beautiful inside, everything is first class and was very impressed with how well it was organized. Would definitely give this house and location a two thumbs up and recommend it to others.

Spectacular lake retreat

Hook’s Nest was the perfect place for our three generation vacation with six adults and two babies. Every detail in the house is perfect, and the views and serenity are spectacular. We’ve stayed in 20 or so VRBO properties, and this is certainly the finest.

Hooks Nest = paradise in paradise

This home is easily the best rental we’ve had. Location was prime, the views exquisite, privacy abounds, it is so well stocked and supplied you’d be hard pressed to find a single item missing and with eight adults and one three yr old we cooked, slept, lounged, bbq’d, sat at the fire and admired the views from every angle and never went without.

Secluded on a private road Hooks Nest is the best rental house we have stayed in on Orcas Island. Clean, organized and elegantly designed this home is worth the price.

Incredible Oracs home

We loved staying at Hooks Nest - this was our second year at the home. The house is beautifully finished, immaculately clean, and well-stocked for a comfortable stay. Spectacular home on the water

The most beautiful home I’ve been to on the island hands down. Incredible views and architecture of the home. The house came with everything, a great kitchen to cook with, multiple places to sit and relax outside, every bed was so comfortable, incredibly clean, activities like games, everything you could possibly need while on vacation. 100% recommend and would stay here again.

Spectacular home and location

Not only is Hook’s Nest spotless, well maintained and equipped, the home also boasts one of the best views and locations on the island. Peaceful and quiet yet just a short drive to the ferry and town. We all loved relaxing watching the boats go by and enjoying stunning sunsets each night. Everything is in top shape and felt almost brand new from comfortable beds, plenty of linens/towels to well stocked kitchen and excellent outdoor BBQ grill. We look forward to coming again!!

Exceptional experience

This property is exceptional in every way. The location is quiet and private. There is the occasional fog horn from the ferry, of course, but other than that, this is a very serene place to be. The house was beautiful. The architectural attention to detail truly made this a wonderful time for my wife and me.

Wow what a gorgeous house and view!

My wife and I had an amazing stay at Hook's Nest. The posted pictures are not as grand as the actual stunning beauty in person. This house, this property, really is as good as it gets on Orcas. The house was clearly designed and built to flaunt the natural beauty around it while offering peace, privacy, and comfort. Three days of bliss was rejuvenating to our lives. Fabulous house and location

Our group of 6 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hooks Nest. It’s a beautiful house in a perfect setting. We struggled, tho, with the high-tech switches for the lights. And we never did figure out how to use the washing machine. Not sure if this was our user problem or something with the appliance.
