Clean, well equipped bedrooms. Kitchen was stocked with tons of plates, glasses, silverware and the best selection of pots and pans I've seen at a rental property. ROKU TV's in each room.

We have stayed at the Palms several times now and go back for a reason. The host is kind and hospitable. The property is well appointed (and was freshly painted), and centrally located, which is a plus from our perspective. We will definitely stay here again.

The home and location were nice. The kitchen was missing essentials for cooking.The golf carts were rusty and weren't equipped for the rainy day we had. The washing machine took 3 hours to wash clothes after it sounded as if it was walking down the stairs. Mold around the upstairs tub.The island is a lovely place to visit, I think some of the properties are getting a bit worn.

Surprised to hear your comments Kim as we just got done painting the entire home and garage, refinishing the hw floors, furniture updates, etc. just this spring. Golf carts are in perfect working order and are serviced monthly, I can't imagine what you were missing in the kitchen as we cook often and absolutely everything is available. I'd imagine the washer was overloaded or off balance to be making any noise. Sorry you didn't care for our home, best to you.

Wonderful place with ample room for a large family, open floor plan layout, nice furnishings.

Great Stay!

Bald Head Island

It’s a great location your in the middle so convenient area for all the things to do. House was spacious and met our needs. Having the golf carts was a plus as well. Would stay again.

Beach with family

We had a great time at this property, steps away from the beautiful beach. Lots of grills, beach toys, room for everyone to hang out. Nice sheets and pillows too (which is important to me, haha) The kitchen was well-equipped too

Very nice and clean

We had a wonderful time on the island and the house was beautiful. It could use a little work on the outside of the house but the inside was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

Mother's Day Getaway

We stayed at the Palms with friends & family over Mother's Day weekend and had the most amazing time! Not wildly advertised, but the house came with a guest membership to the Shoals Club, which was absolutely perfect! I'd book this specific house again over & over again.

Great family vacation

We had an amazing week with our two children, their spouses and our 4 children ages 10 to 18. The house has a very nice living area and was in excellent condition. Beaches were very accessible and the store and shops were close to the house. Highly recommend this rental.

Great location for families and a pet.

This owner is super responsive to our every request. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a large porch for all to enjoy. Nice golf carts as well. Large screen tv is a nice bonus too. Thank you.

Visit

The only two things we didn't like were the tv's in the master bedroom didn't work and the internet was very slow and spotty. Overall loved the house, swings, porches and location!

Family get away

Location and house great. Plenty of space for family. Appreciate Dominic’s accessibility and response time. Small issue with golf cart, but think it was prior guests not properly charging. Couldn’t use any of the bikes, but easily rented some. Would stay here again.

Very Responsive Host - Beautiful Home

We arrived on a very busy turn day. A few things weren’t as expected but the host was incredibly helpful in getting everything corrected. The home is so inviting and comfortable. The location can’t be beat. We plan to visit again next year! Thank you for being so responsive and helpful, Domenic!

Decent House

Photos are dated - upkeep of the house exterior living spaces is not in line with photos. The exterior requires cleaning to be able to utilize the spaces. Interior was nice and as expected. House has the basics but lacks some of the items that are normal to most houses in Bald Head. A refresh would be helpful.

All photos and video tour have been done within the past 3 years. Sorry you’re not impressed with our “upkeep” of the exterior Cory. We do our best to keep up with cleaning, painting, etc. but the island environment can take a toll on things. The cleaning team blows off and does some exterior cleaning weekly along with the thorough interior work. Not sure what your felt was lacking in items inside as you never mentioned anything to us. Best to you in your future house hunting.

Owner was very responsive with questions and information. Having never been to BHI I called a few times before our trip and he was very helpful. The house was awesome and provided plenty of space and seating for our family of 7. The kitchen is well equipped for us to cook meals at home. We loved sitting on the front porch and all of the foliage around us! The golf carts worked perfectly. We took a few bike rides but a couple of the bikes could use some maintenance work. Dominic had warned me that by the end of the season he is not always aware of the condition of bicycles. Check in was super easy.

Trip #12

The biggest issue was the golf carts. One was deemed unsafe to drive by public safety. Neither had updated stickers which were paid for but we had to go get. The homeowner did replace the unsafe cart but not before we had rented a cart and we had to go and get the cart which we were happy to do. The outdoors definitely needed some repairs but inside everything worked. The beds could use new mattresses. There was a spacious pantry which was nice. It was nice to have a screened in deck and another deck not screened in. Bikes were decent.
