Experience Vancouver Island at its finest. Designer decorated and well appointed cottage for up to six guests. Close to all the Parksville amenities including a short walk to Rathtrevor and Tigh-na-Mara spa. Cottage features 3 bedrooms- 2 with queen beds and upper loft with 2 twin beds. Wonderful private outdoor space with dining and relaxation area nestled amongst giant cedar trees. A wonderful area for board games or star gazing. Well equipped kitchen with counter seating and dining table for six. Min golf, pool and hot tub on site.
We look forward to welcoming you with an easy check in at 4pm with check out at 11am. Prompt communication with owner in case of any concerns and also detailed list of opportunities in area.
Pet friendly with extra cleaning fee.

Loved this property - Christa was great to communicate with! The kitchen was stocked with all the little essentials you didn’t think you would need - and the resort pool was an added bonus. Would definitely stay again!

This is very pretty cottage in a suburb of Parksville. We were impressed with the decor, but after paying 150 cleaning fee we were surprised to be asked to wipe down surfaces and place garbage in another location. Also, after stripping the bed in the front bedroom I saw the mattress cover i had been sleeping on, stained from previous use...perhaps by a honeymoon couple.

Perfect spot

Stayed for two months while waiting to move into our forever home. Very easy access to the Rathtrevor beach and cozy neighborhood.

We absolutely loved this Cottage, our Christmas with family this year was definitely enhanced by the beautiful cottage. The hosts have gone out of their way to ensure their guest have everything you need here. We will be back in the near future, thank you both. !!

Perfect getaway

We had such a wonderful stay! They had everything you need and more to feel completely at home. Loved the decor, beds were comfy, and lived the special treats to welcome us! Location was perfect. The kids loved it especially the pool! We’ll definitely be back, hopefully in the summer! Thanks Bill & Christa

The place was mostly clean with a few small things wrong. The host was polite and got back to me right away. The only things I would count against the cottage would be the lack of air conditioning or fans in the bedrooms, there was 1 small table fan for everyone so it got pretty hot and hard to sleep. There weren’t tvs in any of the bedrooms which I thought was a bit weird as most places you stay have them and the second bedroom had no furniture or place to put your clothes or even room to lay out our suitcase. These are all fairly minor things but all together I thought it deserved 4 stars. I would have given 4.5 if I could give half stars. Also the cottages are really close together so we could hear the people talking next to us on the patio and the patio furniture didn’t have any cushions so it was really uncomfortable.

Thank you so much for your feedback. I hope you used the ceiling fan to circulate the air. The listing does indicate there is no air conditioning but we will definitely purchase a few more individual room fans. We are glad you enjoyed your time in Parksville.

Nice property - could use work on the follow through

The unit has a really lovely aesthetic and was super clean. It was loaded with really lovely personal touches that made it feel as if it was owned, loved and decorated as a personal home rather than a sterile investment. However the oven didn't work, the lock on the bathroom didn't work, the barbecue barely worked, and probably most importantly, the host was a half hour late in sending us the access code to the door. We called and messaged her repeatedly with no answer.The whole family sat in the car wondering if we should drive back home or try to find an alternate location to stay. All of which could have been an honest mistake. Except, when we did finally reach her, she was not even particularly apologetic about the whole thing, blaming VRBO for the mistake. (It was not VRBO's mistake.) I later wrote her regarding the oven and never received a response. The unit would be very nice if everything was in working order. And even with the issues, the location and home are really wonderful. But it might be better to try one of the other units in the complex until they work out the repairs for their unit and engage in the rental process with a bit more seriousness.

I was incredibly apologetic when you had not received the code and it should have been available to you on March 12 in the details VRBO provides. This neighborhood is so close to all the wonderful amenities available both along resort drive and such a short distance to Parksville. Morning walks along Rathtrevor beach with the tide out are one of our favorite activities. There is so much to explore including hikes to top bridge, golf and swimming. Everyday is a wonderful adventure.

The amenities such as the pool, mini golf and proximity to the beach make this a wonderful unique place to stay. Our cottage is spacious and yet cozy.
