This was our second stay at Dairy Cottage, and just like the first time, everything was perfect for us. The cottage is in a quiet rural area, surrounded by nature. In addition to the chickens and sheep belonging to our very friendly hosts, we were able to watch squirrels, pheasants, and lots of birds outside our window, especially in the morning. There are many attractions to visit near the cottage (some of which are managed by the National Trust; highly recommended!). Most of them can be found in Katie and Andy's comprehensive information folder (along with many other tips and recommendations). The cottage itself is very clean and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. We immediately felt (almost) at home. We recommend the cottage and Katie and Andy 100%. Many sights are very easy to reach (London is not far). Nothing is missing from the equipment. A huge area with fireplaces, play equipment and ponds can be used by the guests.
