We are a family of 12 three generations and made wonderful memories as we enjoyed the beach, the pool and the surrounding areas.Growing up on the East Coast I frequented the New Jersey shore every summer. Though I still remember Width fondness, my time there, it cannot compare to the exquisite scenery and inviting Waters of this site.The home is well maintained with comfortable bedding, more than enough towels, ready, laundry facility, and room enough for everyone to have their own space. We are already making plans for our next visit. Thank you for sharing this wonderful property.

Great Home in Kailua

We were very happy with our family vacation at Place in Paradise. The house was just as it was represented by the online photos. It was clean, well cared for, easy access to beach, pool and tennis court. Our party of 10 had lots of room to spread out as well as all be together in one room. Air conditioning in the bedrooms was very helpful. Outside breezes, especially in the morning were lovely. Tropical afternoons were managed with fans or more outside time. The beach was very nice, and even though it was not private it was very comfortable for our party, never crowded. Location was perfect for our family with our variety of ages. Sunrise views from the balconies were especially stunning! Would highly recommend Place in Paradise.

Oasis getaway

I took my family to Kailua for my Mom’s 80th birthday. The property was perfect! The house was ocean front which afforded us the ease of getting her and my Dad to the beach even with their mobility issues. The house is well equipped for an 8 day stay. I did have to purchase was a bath chair bc the downstairs bathrooms did not have a seat or hand rail in any of the showers.

Amazing Ramirez Ohana Vacation

Our family of 13 including 3 generations ranging from 6 to 70 had such a wonderful week here in Kailua. The location is perfect! The beach is just out from the backyard with easy access. The home was equipped with everything we needed for the kitchen and plenty of beach chairs, toys and snorkeling gear for fun at the beach. The home is spacious with comfortable gathering areas and generous size bedrooms. We would definitely stay again!

We took our coffee to the beach to watch the sunrise each morning. Great location for kids - easy to go back and forth to the house for supplies and for naps. We grilled each night. Loved that AC was not central, as we like to invite the Hawaiian breezes in. People could keep their bedrooms cool at night with AC or with fans. Super clean on arrival and very helpful property manager. We’ll be back!

Really is a place in paradise!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: For a pandemic Thanksgiving getaway, it was perfect -- we just had a terrific time staying in this beautiful home. They have all the beach gear you could possibly need; an incredible, well-equipped kitchen for the two cooks on our trip; and steps to a spectacular long stretch of beach. It was too rough for kayaks, but otherwise the ocean was warm and inviting and the beach is made for long walks. Its a big house with lots of outside spaces for gathering, or separating. And the tennis court at the end of the street was a great bonus. The town of Kailua is charming and we wish we were still there! Staff at the rental company were super easy to connect with and accommodating, answering all of our covid travel questions with the latest updates.

The house accommodated our large group wonderfully, with everyone having a private space and plenty of bathrooms. We could have a family meal at the same table and all sit together while enjoying the most beautiful view of the beach. Sun rises were stunning! We stepped out the door to the spectacular beach that was never crowded. Our grandkids enjoyed using the boogie boards provided and the adults also took advantage of the snorkeling equipment. The beach was safe for even the youngest in the family and we enjoyed it each and every day. You can't beat the location, as it was quiet, yet convenient to get to almost anywhere on the island. Steven was very responsive to any question or need that we had, from the time we booked the house, to the time we left. Great family memories were made at this special Place in Paradise!

The perfect family vacation

Place in Paradise was far beyond any of the many vacation rental we've ever stayed. We came to celebrate our 50th anniversary by bringing our 2 daughters, their husbands and our 2 teen grandchildren.This home provided the perfect backdrop to make and share forever memories. Alia (prop mgr) met us at the home and introduced us all to the property. She presented us with a huge Hawaiian-themed food basket, which we worked on for several days! She also gave us her cell # to text for anything, and was quick to answer our questions. Alia was such a pro! With her recommendation, we had our 1st meal prepared and served by a great personal chef. What a great assist she was. It was a fabulous way to settle in! A small brick sitting wall is all that separated the white sand beach from the back yard. We all spent hours on the beach enjoying the water as we swam and played with all the of beach equipment (boogy boards, chairs, umbrellas, etc). The home itself was big enough that everyone had their own room and bathroom for privacy. And the 2 large family rooms and outdoor patio areas gave space for time together. The spacious kitchen allowed several "cooks in the kitchen" and was stocked with great equipment and supplies. Even the knives were sharp! Both the indoor and outdoor dining furniture had plenty of size and seating for us all to sit, eat and laugh together. We set out to make and share memories at Place in Paradise...and it was one for the books! Everyone should be so lucky.

What a perfect location! On a peaceful, quiet street just steps from one of the most beautiful beaches in the world! The house is laid out perfectly with plenty of common areas for gathering and dedicated bathrooms for each of the well-appointed bedrooms. All the cooking utensils you could ever need for the kitchen, and plenty of recreational beach equipment in the garage. Communication with property management was easy and accommodating, with any questions we had answered immediately. This property is a real gem!

This is a great property, absolutely beautiful! It sits on a beautiful, quiet beach. The house is clean and in excellent condition, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed; beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkeling gear, coolers. It was perfect for our family to include our grandkids. Check in was easy and the management was accessible, knowledgeable, and helpful. We would definitely rent this beach house again and highly recommend it to any family looking for a great get away that accommodates a large family and/or friends.

Family Memory Making Time!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house has been the perfect place for our family of 11 to get together and make wonderful memories. Each of the 5 bedrooms has its own full bath. The kitchen is well stocked and with a family room and living room there is space for our 5 grandsons to have their own space for games while others can enjoy the view while sitting in the living room with it wall of windows looking out on the beach. The private athletic club down the street is another super feature with the grandsons playing basketball, pickle ball and swimming. But the best part of the property is the gorgeous “backyard” beach. Everyone enjoys that the most! The only suggestion we have for the house is to update some of the furniture and other lesser items hence the four stars on the property’s general condition. The property management team is great and very responsive. We have stayed here for the past four summers and treasure all the wonderful memories we have been able to create. We hope to be able to continue to make this home our annual gathering place!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What mroe could you ask for? Nothing! This rental has EVERYTHING. Literally everything you could possibly need or want. The views - breath taking, the beach - perfection. The bedrooms - gorgeous. The Kitchen - perfection. We even had a private chef come in and she was IMPRESSED. Kid frienly, tons of room, CLEAN, nothing was broken, private, outddor space, indoor space was exceptional. Parking was perfect. The enighbors, super friendly. All in all a wonderful stay.
