If you want complete peace and quiet time to think and read, then this rural corner of Cornwall is for you. The cottage is very comfortable and the private grounds provide an easy short stroll by the river for us older ones. Appreciated the hosts kind hospitality of goodies on arrival, we’ve already booked again . Thank you.

Willow Barn

It was a beautiful cottage but there is a smell of damp in the en suite after using the bathroom on the 2nd day which was quite strong. Beautiful cottage in a lovely area

A beautiful cottage in a great location

My mum stayed in the cottage over the Christmas holidays. It’s fully equipped and was beautifully decorated over her stay. Everything about it was top class and we would definitely use it again. Irene was very welcoming and was there when we arrived thank you so much for a wonderful stay. Michele

Four of us - two couples - spent a very pleasant if partly rainy November week in Willow Barn, which is nicely situated, warm, and in most respects very well-equipped and comfortable. A lot of the equipment was in fact new or very nearly new when we visited. Our hosts Tom and Irene were pleasant and helpful, but also unobtrusive. Very minor downsides were:- + several light bulbs had expired in the kitchen area; + the shower attachment over the bath was in poor condition and not practically usable as a shower if wanted (but the separate shower room worked excellently); + the dining table and chairs are very cramped between the log-burner and the side of the sitting room - manageable and probably unavoidable, but a bit awkward. The plus side far outweighs these minor negatives and we would quite likely visit again.

An excellent place.

An excellent place. My personal suggestion was for a long grab bar in the shower to help with "older" guests and young children to aid stability. I have mentioned that to the hosts. A lovely place to stay.

An amazing cottage with fantastic hosts.

An amazing cottage with fantastic hosts. Greeted with hamper of supplies including a bottle of fizz! Both the interior and outside space were perfect with a real attention to detail evident throughout. Log burner was a real treat in the evenings, id imagine the setting in the summer months to be perfect. We will certainly be back! Many thanks.
