Smuk lejlighed med 'charme', meget romantisk, gammelt hjem for ejerens oldefar, notarius af Montepulciano. For nylig totalrenoveret, meget stille, i en storslået beliggenhed: i det historiske centrum, men med udsigt over bymurene i en dominerende position. To dejlige soveværelser fint møbleret; begge med parketgulve, smukke fresko lofter fra 1800-tallet og et storslået panorama over hele Valdichiana og Trasimeno-søen. Lys stue med synlige bjælker, elektrisk ovenlys og terracotta gulv.
Fuldt udstyret køkken. Skive. Badeværelse med bruser / boblebad og dampbad. LCD-tv. Gratis WiFi. Aircondition. Autonom opvarmning. Sovepladser 4 (1 dobbeltseng + 2 enkeltsenge side om side) +2 (1 sovesofa og 1 lænestolseng). Kan bruges året rundt.

The charming house in Montano is truly that. It’s a historical home that has been in the family for many generations. It was an honor to stay at this home as a homebase for exploring Montalcino and the surrounding area.

Wonderful apartment. Very spacious and tastefully decorated. Views are fantastic. Hostess was very kind and accommodated our late arrival (and provided a nice bottle of wine in the apartment). Location is great - very close to parking lots and supermarket (Conad). Would gladly stay there again.

Great location. Quiet, yet only one block to a main street with shopping and restaurants.Close to bus station. There is a elevator close by to take you down the hill to it.Close to park where the markets are held.Well-appointed kitchen.Rustic charm with modern amenities.Highly recommend.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time in Montepulciano. Everything in the town, including this apartment have a lot of age and history which is part of the charm. The highlight of this property is the phenomenal view and overall location. From the towns main entrance the property can be accessed by a 5 minute walk (because only permitted residence can drive inside the walls). The property is probably a 1 minute walk to the start of the Main Street (shops, cafes, restaurants etc). Great city and great place to stay. Would stay here again if we return to Montepulciano.

This is a very large and nicely decorated apartment in a great location. Very close to everything you need or want: restaurants, shopping, historic sites, etc.

The property was beautifully done, it’s got a lot of character yet it has all the modern amenities. The pictures don’t do justice to the place, it’s spacious, has 2 bedrooms, a lounge, a dining table and a kitchen. The bedrooms opens to a beautiful view of Tuscany ideal for the sunrise coffee. The location could not be anymore handy, the 50-60m from the main gate of the city (ZTL) but we were able to get parking right outside. Fernanda, the host was amazing, she communicated everything in detail and was super helpful. The weather turned very quickly and it got hot, she provided fans upon our request. We absolutely love the old Italian charm of this property, it is an ideal place in Montepulciano, literally 20m from the Main Street.

Apartment was as close to city as possible but still a 3 block walk (uphill! But worth it!). Site is on third floor, no elevator, so challenging for older folks. Perfect location to enjoy the town! Host very gracious, even with his car accident and hospital stay on the first day, he graciously answered our communications. Amazing city and local visits to wineries, oil tasting, cheese making, and excellent restaurants. Odd hours for opening times so check each day. Apartment was historic and the ceiling frescos were stunning!

Montepulciano Stay

This is a lovely historic property in a terrific location. The views out the bedroom windows are breathtaking. The proprietors are wonderful to work with. We had a great stay!

A wonderful break from a hectic trip

We were half way through a six week trip and exhausted from Roman sites and weather. This place was a wonderful, comfortable, clean, spacious, welcoming oasis to recover for the next phase of the trip. Walking the city in the morning and evening was leisurely and uncrowded with amazing views.

Wonderful apartment!

We loved this apartment in Montepulciano. Perfect location, great view of the Tuscan hillsides from the bedroom windows, very friendly and welcoming hostess, very clean. I highly recommend this apartment and would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay while in Tuscany

We enjoyed our week's stay in this spacious, comfortable apartment. Excellent location for exploring Tuscany. It was well equipped for cooking dinners in the apartment when we were too tired to eat out at one of many great restaurants in Montepulciano. Hope to return to Fernanda's house very soon.

Heart of Montepulciano home.

We really enjoyed our stay in this home. It was conveniently located for parking and taking your luggage. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had. It was very clean and was a great weekend. Our stay was short but we enjoyed it very much. Would recommend staying here.

Great Location

Fernanda’s place was perfect. She had a bottle of wine waiting for us. Perfect way to start our stay. She communicated so well with us. Easy check in and check out. Would definitely stay at this property again.

Clean, roomy, convenient, Great shower, comfy beds, low part of Montepulciano near Porta al Prato, convenient to area sights, wonderful owners. Kitchen facilities. Need I say more?

This was a really charming and very Tuscan apartment. The inclusion of AC as well as 2 pedestal fans was much appreciated in the July heat. Fernanda was kind enough to include a lovely welcome bottle of local wine too! She advised where to park temporarily whilst we brought our luggage in and then we moved the car. Please note there might not be any parking available (paid or free) nearby, so you may need to drop luggage right near the gate where the ZTL starts and have one of you wait with the luggage while the other goes off to find parking. There was no paid parking available when we arrived so we had to park in the free area which was a bit of an uphill walk back to the town entry ‘gate’ but then only short walk to apartment. If you manage to find a paid parking spot it’s 10 per day. Please bear in mind there are a couple of flights of stairs to haul your suitcases up. Lovely views from the bedrooms of the beautiful landscape.The location was fantastic, with several amazing restaurants and bars right there. Highly recommend La Briciola, great staff and the Porcini Lasagne was in my top 5 meals of all time The ‘disco’ shower with lights, fan and radio and 3 different water options was a cool novelty! Would stay again. Thanks Fernanda!
