Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand and respect your perspective, and we appreciate you taking the time to explain your concerns. We would, however, like to clarify a few points for future guests. The hallway store room is used to keep items required for cleaning, maintenance, spare laundry, and other supplies. As it is a private store room and not part of the guest accommodation, we keep it locked. We also regularly have families with children staying with us, so keeping the room locked helps prevent access to items that could potentially create a safety hazard. The store room has never been shown as part of the rental in any of our listing photographs. In more than a decade of hosting, we have never had a guest ask to inspect the store room. Nevertheless, when you raised the concern, our manager understood your point and guided you on how to access it. Regarding the vacuum cleaner, we were not aware that it had been left inside the bedroom wardrobe. It appears that our staff had placed it there by mistake. Had this been brought to our attention during your many calls and messages with our manager, we would have arranged for it to be removed immediately to make your stay more comfortable. We would also like to mention that our manager made several efforts to accommodate your requests during your stay. When you made a very last-minute request for a late checkout, he arranged it so that you would not have to wait outside while transitioning to your next accommodation. Our housekeeping team attended to your request at around 11 pm (which was way out of their working hours) to help ensure you were comfortable. On another occasion, when you accidentally locked yourself out, our manager responded immediately and resolved the issue for you. Neither the late checkout nor the spare key was charged to you; we absorbed these additional costs ourselves simply to make your stay as convenient and comfortable as possible. With regard to the noise, we genuinely were not aware that trains were running through the area at night. None of our previous guests had mentioned this to us. Our manager also checked the Transport for London information available at the time, and there was no indication of overnight train services. Unfortunately, this is something outside our control, although we completely understand that it affected your experience. CONSIDERING THIS, THE OWNER EVEN OFFERED YOU A REFUND FOR THE REMAINING NIGHTS IF YOU CAN FIND ANOTHER PLACE, BUT YOU PREFERED TO STAY FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE. Regarding the mirrors, the bedroom is equipped with a dressing table and mirror for guests to use while getting ready. We will also look into whether we can add a full-length mirror without compromising the bedroom's layout, interior design, or appearance. We understand that some aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. At the same time, we hope this response provides some context regarding the steps our team took throughout your stay to assist you whenever concerns were brought to our attention. We genuinely value guest feedback and will certainly take your comments into consideration as we continue to improve the experience.
