The property was across the street from the beach entrance and about 4 blocks to the main drag. The owner was super nice and met us at the property when we checked in. That really helped since everyone’s TV is different! I would definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay! The room was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, and the host was friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The location was family-friendly, with shops and conveniences nearby, which made everything easy and convenient. We had a great time in Seal Beach & the Starfish Cottage was the perfect place to stay! Kye & Elena were very communicative, the place was neat and tidy & within walking distance to everything- the beach, local shops, & great local restaurants with delicious meals! Visited Avila's for Taco Tuesday after Kye's recommendation & it did not disappoint! Highly recommend both Seal Beach & Starfish Cottage!

10/10 would recommend. Garage parking, quick 2 minute walk to the beach and there’s even an outdoor shower at the cottage. In person check in went very smoothly. Elena and Kye were lovely and very communicative with us.

We absolutely loved our stay at Starfish Cottage! The home was immaculate, with a super clean interior and patio, beautiful decor, and so many thoughtful little details and hidden treasures to discover throughout the property. You can tell the owners put so much love and care into making this place special.From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was incredible. We were welcomed with chocolate wafers and drinks, and the owner even met us for our late check-in to make sure we found everything okay and helped carry our things to the cottage! They went over local restaurants, provided coupons, and kept us informed about street cleaning so we could avoid any parking tickets. The communication and personal touches were above and beyond anything I’ve experienced at a vacation rental.The outdoor shower was wonderful after a day at the beach, and the location couldn’t be better! It’s a short walk to Seal Beach. It’s also an easy walk to restaurants and the pier, with fantastic corndogs and chili cheese fries just across from the pier. Disneyland is only about 25 minutes away, too. The neighborhood itself is quaint and charming, filled with adorable homes and beautiful gardens.What really sets Starfish Cottage apart is how genuinely invested the owners are in making sure their guests have a relaxing, enjoyable, and personalized experience. I’ve never experienced this level of service from a vacation rental owner, and it made our experience amazing!

Our stay was fantastic and Kye and Elena were very attentive and helpful hosts! At a quick pace the beach was literally a three minute walk in a great neighborhood! We plan on staying again when daughter #2 heads out for college!

Kye was at the cottage to greet us upon our arrival and was extremely helpful indoctrinating us to its amenities as well as those of businesses and activities nearby.While we were only a short 15 miles from our home, we truly felt we had gotten away to a fabulous vacation spot. The neighbors we met on our morning and afternoon walks were extremely friendly and the beach living atmosphere was in full splendor.We fully intend to make return trips back to the Starfish Cottage in the future.Thank you for a wonderful experience!

The Starfish cottage is a great place to stay. We felt welcomed and we felt we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. I would highly recommend staying here.

Seal Beach Cottage

Convenient, clean, and relaxing stay in Seal Beach. The property is very well located with a short walk to Main Street. The communication and welcome from our host was terrific. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a very relaxing couple of days at the Starfish cottage and would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Seal Beach. The house is very charming and clearly well-maintained. We really liked the location as we could take easy walks to the beach, the Pier, or to Main Street for shopping and dining. Having the garage is a big plus as we did not have to worry about finding parking on the street. Kye met us on arrival to give us access codes and to show us around the house which we really appreciated!
