Perfect Quiet Vacation

The location of the cottage is perfectly beautiful and the cottage very comfortable and welcoming. It feels homey with special touches of beach theme decor and art work!

Lovely Beach Neighborhood Property

A beautiful little slice of Lake Erie. We very much enjoyed our weekend at this lovely beach cottage. The host was friendly, accommodating and helpful. We stayed with our 3 toddlers for a long weekend celebrating family milestones around the area and it was the perfect place to relax between events.

July family vacation

This beach house is amazing with wonderful views! A hidden gem in North East. Linda was a marvelous host and was helpful with checkin process and made sure everything was taken care of.

Lovely cottage

Linda could not have been a more accommodating, responsive and lovely host. The cottage has a great location by the lake and close to all that North East has to offer. It has been nicely updated, was super clean, and we had everything we needed for our stay.

North East Lake House

The house was exactly as described, well-decorated, and well-stocked. Communication and the check-in process was flawless. We were all very comfortable from start to finish. We hope to be back in town and would not hesitate in reserving it again.

Amazing stay and owner!

The cabin was very clean and had a great view of the lake! The beds were fairly comfortable. The owner, Linda, was very accommodating and replied quickly. We had an issue but Linda was able to help us resolve it. We would love to stay again!

Awesome Place and vacation

Wonderful property everything was clean and well maintained , we had a terrific time walking on the beach , fishing and traveling around the area. Linda was awesome....she answered all our questions and sent a folder via email explaining every thing involving the cottage , would highly recommend this as a great vacation spot . Summer trip

Stayed at the house early July. Nice clean house. You can walk down to the water. There's a place to put kayaks if you want to leave them next to the water. Dont recommend carrying up and down steps. Too hard. Great communication with owner. No issues at all. Thank you!

Our Relaxing North East Happy Place.

The cottage on the lake was everything and more that the host portrays on her Vrbo site. All the rooms were clean and completely stocked with all the essentals and necessary accessories. It was a great place to stay and I am looking forward to staying there again. My 3 friends and I all enjoyed our stay at this lovely cottage on the shores of Lake Erie. I have no doubt we will be back her for another fishing trip. If you are looking for a great place to enjoy Lake Erie and everything there is to see around Erie and North East look no farther. This is a wonderful place and Katie is and absolutely awesome host. She informed us of everything and was a joy to communicate with. Thanks again Katie. Larry, Rick, Don, and Bob

Great place. Well stocked. We had a wonderful time and Linda had phenomenal communication! We loved waking up in the morning and drinking coffee on the deck overlooking Lake Erie! Would definitely stay again!

Fish Camp

Beautiful cottage with lovely decor. Being " older adults " we found uneven, hilly terrain a challenge. Able to catch fish, with our boat nearby was a plus.

Peaceful, Relaxing, Wonderful!

Flash's cottage is truly a hidden gem tucked up on a hill above the lake with amazing views, sweetly singing birds, and the sound of the waves to bring you quickly into a relaxed mode. The cottage was clean, very comfortable, and easily accommodated myself and my friends. The screen porch was fabulous! We ate, played games, and read out there! The beds were very comfy, the living room furniture inviting, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Access to the beach was easy and sunsets there were amazing! Linda is a wonderful host! She very quickly answered all my questions and made check in and check out a breeze! She was so thoughtful and left snacks, candy, and fresh flowers to welcome us. Thank you so much Linda for sharing your piece of paradise with us. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic view, no beach for swimming close

We lived this! Very quiet neighborhood, and perfect scenery. The one thing we were looking forward to was a beach, but the one close by has green algae in the water and rocks instead of sand. It is a fantastic Beach anyway, and presque isle is only a half hour away. This house was everything that we wanted it to be, and very accurate to the pictures. Linda was very responsive with messages and communications with us. Definitely going to return!

I’m sorry the lake had seaweed...it’s been crystal clear most of the summer, but you never know. Did you try Freeport Beach for a more sand experience and you can walk there? it’s another option when we don’t want to drive to Presque Isle. Wonderful vacation!

We were very fortunate to find this cottage! This was the perfect place for our family of four to relax, enjoy the beautiful lake, travel to Niagara Falls, and explore the laid back area. The best part for our two younger girls was the private beach that we had access to during the week. We spent most evening watching the sun set, playing in the water and looking for sea glass along the shore. The owner was so helpful and personable and we would definitely visit again.

So relaxing!

Our family of 4 had a blast staying here. The cottage was clean and comfortable and we spent hours exploring the beach and wineries. With two small kids we managed to leave feeling rested and relaxed which is rare for a vacation with small kids! We would go back in a flash.

Flash's place was perfect.

We enjoyed our stay at Flash's place. The living area was open and sunny. The house and linens were clean and comfortable. The screen porch was nice in the evenings. The walk to the lake involved steep steps, but the exercise was good. When we didn't feel like walking to the association's picnic area and boat ramps, we drove and parked. The boat ramps were not in good shape, but we were able to put our kayaks in there and were able to drive up close to the water. The sunsets on Lake Erie were gorgeous as always. When we had guest over, there was additional parking available around the corner from the cottage. The cottage is located abut 1/4 mile from Penn Shore winery and we were able to enjoy the Music in the Vineyards that they have there. We were also close to the grocery and liquor store in the quaint town of Northeast, PA. All in all in was a wonderful place and a wonderful time. The only reason I gave the cottage a 4 instead ofa 5 was that it had obstructed lake views due to vegetation.

We're so glad you enjoyed your stay! I know that the area is close to your heart. Concerning the vegetation and the view, the association doesn't permit cutting the hillside. The vegetation stops the hill from collapsing on the homes below. Thank you!
