A brillant house in a lovely quiet area. The house was perfect for what we wanted and needed and was fully stocked with everything you could need while away. Couldn’t fault the home at all and it provided us an excellent base to explore the island. Sarah and Ashley are great hosts, from the second we booked they offered hints and tips to help us get everything sorted ready for the holiday and even personally checked us in and gave a tour of the house before leaving us to settle in. Would highly recommend the house for a great stay on the Isle of Wight.

The perfect island retreat

A wonderfully impectable property to enjoy a glorious holiday with the family and dog.Location was perfect and the facilities at the property were 5 star all round.

Great accommodation

Had a lovely stay at the Hawthorns. Property is lovely and had everything we could want. Set in a lovely peaceful location with a great shop, newsagent and pub.

The property was in a lovely village with a very well stocked shop which we used daily. We had an excellent meal at the village pub where the staff were welcoming and there was live music on the Friday evening. Our hosts were at the property to show us round and explain everything and we had a wonderful holiday.

Summer Family Holiday

We had a great stay on the IOW, and this is the perfect base for it. Beautiful house with everything you need. Kids loved it. The facilities are amazing. It's a quick walk to the local pub and shop, and great location to drive anywhere on the island. I would definitely recommend staying here with a family.

Fabulous house and location

We had a wonderful visit at The Hawthornes. The property was five star and we got a lovely welcome from the owners. It really is a beautiful house in a lovely village, with lots of sightseeing and excellent restaurants nearby. Highly recommend on all counts!!

Fabulous place to stay

We had a lovely holiday. The house is immaculate and a gorgeous place to stay. Sarah and Ashley are very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed trips to the beaches, The Needles, Blackgang Chine, The Donkey Sanctuary, The Garlic Farm, and Osborne House. We also recommend the Wight Mouse Inn for food. We would love to return for another holiday.

Lovely house

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely house which provided everything we needed to enjoy a relaxed getaway. Sarah kept in touch from the initial booking and was very welcoming upon arrival. Brighstone is a beautiful village with a shop, cafe and beach all within walking distance.

Fabulous house, impeccably presented

Both Sarah and Ashley met us at the property and gave a very informative and helpful handover. The house is great, spacious and everyone couple had their own bathroom. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and plentiful. We really could not fault the property.

Family trip - August

The property is beautiful and Brighstone is a lovely village, just a short drive from all the main attractions in the Isle of Wight. Sarah and Ashley were fantastic, very communicative and welcoming. 10/10 would recommend.

Excellent property

We have stayed here previously 2 years ago and the property is still in the same pristine condition. Sarah and Ashley are great hosts and information about the property is listed in the handbook which is really helpful. Property is spotlessly clean and everything is in working order. Good facilities in the kitchen and also washing machine available which is really handy. Best Isle of Wight property we have stayed in

Brilliant accommodation

We had a lovely week away at The Hawthorns. The house is excellent! Very comfortable accommodation with everything you need and more. Set in a beautiful small village with excellent shop, newsagents and pub. The beach within walking distance. Sarah and Ashley gave us a very warm welcome and have been more than helpful. Beautiful modern house with all the mod cons

Just a lovely huge, light house to escape in. There is room for everyone and more and it’s so comfortable and peaceful. The hot tub is superb. If you have a dog, it’s ideal. It’s all enclosed and safe and the walks around about are out of this world. The house is in a chocolate box location. Fully recommend this property.

Amazing place, fantastic location. Can’t wait to return

We were greeted by the hosts who couldn’t have been more helpful. They were super friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable about the local area. House was beautiful, clean and modern and had lots of things to do. We enjoyed playing some of the supplied games in the evenings. Location was perfect, walking distance to a local shop and lovely pub with delicious food and very friendly staff and lots of accessible walks nearby too. Perfect size house to share with friends as well. We will definitely be returning one day!

Fab location, Fab property, Fab hosts

Hawthorns is perfectly located for exploring the IOW. On the quieter side of the island but still well positioned. Excellent village with several shops and pub. village shop is a must. Great local beaches, some walkable to. Dog friendly also, both property and local beaches year round. Property well set up, furnished beautifully, and contained everything needed for a great break. Sarah very accommodating and informative both before and on arrival. Hot tub a great plus, along with the extensive patio furniture and garden loungers. Fantastic stay all round.

Great modern house

Gorgeous modern comfortable house with everything provided that you need including a great hot tub, great location, hosts were lovely and gave us a great welcome in person and showed us where everything was etc. lovely touch with a hamper gift. Had a slight problem with one of the sinks but hosts had sorted within 24 hrs. Spacious bedrooms. Overall a fantastic week had by all thank you x
