Beautiful, peaceful property in a quiet location directly on the coast. The grounds are lovely, with exceptional privacy and solitude—great for a quiet, relaxing stay away from Bali’s busier tourist areas. The staff were kind and attentive. The kitchen staff prepared several wonderful meals and truly pampered us with full service. The cabana near the ocean was especially lovely and an amazing setting for a massage. Management was less present—we really didn’t see the manager until we were departing after our four-day stay—but we valued our privacy and the staff took very good care of us.Our biggest concern was the heavy use of cleaning products, mothballs, bug treatments and artificial fragrances. At times the combination of smells was frankly overwhelming and detracted from an otherwise relaxing environment. The north coast is quiet, with limited restaurants and tourist activities nearby, but that is also part of its appeal. Overall, we found this area of Bali an exceptional value, with wonderful people, beautiful surroundings and a chance to truly slow down.
