Great location, great place

This apartment is in a perfect location in Toledo, five minutes from the main square or the cathedral. Tastefully decorated. We loved our stay.

Quiet retreat

While it was early spring the city was bustling and it was great to have a little retreat. Very comfortable with plenty of amenities.

This is a lovely apartment in the old town of Toledo. It is very close to the car parking, which is 25 Euro a night. You can walk everywhere from here and the bed is very comfortable even though it is a double which is pretty small these days. The only criticism I would have is perhaps some better pots and pans could be bought for the kitchen, but other then that a very good value for money option.

Dreamy accommodation

If this place is available, don't hesitate, book it! Gorgeous accommodation, beautiful decor, comfortable, clean, great location on a quiet side street, a few restaurants and cafes are nearby.Check in was easy by use of a simple lock box. The lock on the door was slighly tricky, but not a huge issue once you got used to it.I couldn't recommend this property any higher, a perfect spot to visit this magical city.

Even though my wife has mobility issues, we enjoy travel. We conquered the Great Wall of China but myhomeintoledo and VRBO defeated us. The property is well located, beautifully decorated and comfortable but on arrival we found that it is situated on a medieval passage 60 or 70 metres from the nearest taxi drop point. The pavement consists of an upward incline over rough stone that is not only difficult, it is dangerous for anyone with mobility issues. I notified the owner that it would not be possible for us to stay there and asked for advice on alternatives. She offered no help even though there was an accessible hotel nearby. To prevent other problems like ours the owner should make it clear in the write up on the property that it is not accessible for mobility impaired travellers.

Thank you for highlighting the apartment’s location, decoration and comfort. We are sorry that the access was not suitable for your wife’s mobility needs. The apartment is located in Toledo’s historic centre, in a medieval pedestrian street where taxis cannot stop directly outside the building. Information and photographs concerning the access had been provided before arrival, although we understand that the actual slope and traditional stone paving may be more demanding than expected for guests with reduced mobility. We did respond when you contacted us, but unfortunately we could not arrange alternative accommodation at such short notice. Following your comments, we will review the wording of the listing again to make the access conditions even clearer for future guests with mobility difficulties.

Beautiful, convenient place

This is an exquisite apartment which is special. The decorations are lovely. It is extremely clean. It is comfortable while being distinctive. Toledo is hilly, and it is on a hill but only a few minutes from the cathedral as a walk. The street is too narrow for cars, but it is a one-minute walk to a taxi or a garage. The owner was unusually helpful. Highly recommended

Comodidad y encanto

Casita pequeña pero muy bien aprovechada a pocos minutos andando de la plaza de Zocodover. Está decorada con un buen gusto increíble, es muy cómoda y acogedora y tiene todo lo necesario para pasar unos días explorando Toledo en pareja. Montserrat fue muy amable y nos mandó un montón de información y consejos para disfrutar de Toledo. Un sitio para volver!
