Beautiful villa - wonderful views - fantastic host - great location. This was my second visit. Found some great local restaurants, had wonderful BBQs at the villa watching the sunset and found some lovely coves for swimming and also did some gorge walking.

Beautiful, modern villa

Set just outside the charming Prines Village, the villa was superb - fantastic views and sunsets, decent sized pool and great bedrooms and bathrooms.

We had a truly fantastic week at Villa Zenith. The villa is exceptional, particularly the outside areas. Manolis and Stella could not have been better hosts and provided lots of lovely extra touches to make our stay special. We would highly recommend and would love to return at some point! Thank you for making us feel so welcome.

You’ll want to pinch yourself when you arrive here . What a gorgeous place to stay. Stella and her father were both very nice and easy to communicate with . The villa had everything we needed, was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The views are SPECTACULAR! You will not regret staying here !

First of all, thank you so much for this wonderful stay. Stella and her father were amazing hosts, always available for any questions, gave us a lot of support with organization, and made the trip perfect for all of us.The villa has everything you need, and the view is a dream.The massage therapists we booked through Stella were the perfect way to end this trip, I would recommend it to everyone.There is really nothing to complain about, we will definitely come back. Many thanks and see you next time!

Family Vacay!

This property was amazing! Stella and her father were so helpful and accommodating. The pics do not lie but once you arrive is breath taking. Room for a family of seven and plenty of hangout nooks for all. The view and pool are awesome! We all hope to have the opportunity to visit again! Thank you both so much! Diaz Family

This was an amazing place to stay. Stella answered everything we needed to know and gave recommendations for places to visit, great restaurants, arranged taxis and helped with car hire. Her parents left savoury and sweet treats which were fantastic. The villa was cleaned midweek as well as being immaculate on arrival. The pool was welcomely cooling in the heat and the hot tub was great on an evening. The accommodation had lots of different places to sit and had shade when needed . It was cool enough inside to not need aircon but the family had it in their rooms at times. Kitchen was adequate for our needs and the outdoor BBQ and eating area was well used by us. The insect screens were on all doors and windows so we were able to have great air flow and no bites! (even at night). The views and sunsets were just stunning, brought me to tears at time it was so beautiful. There is plenty of sun all day and the umbrellas and verandas provided shade. I loved it and didn't want to leave!

Amazing Villa

Absolutely loved our stay at Villa Zenith. Stella and her father made us feel very welcome, as did Stella’s mother with her amazing cake. The villa was superb in the middle of countryside. Stella’s father met us and took us through villa explaining everything. It was very peaceful and we loved seeing the local sheep or goats walking past. The villa had everything we needed in terms of utensils and facilities. The cleaning regime was superb. The village was a bit too far for us to walk in the heat but we had a car so this wasn’t really an issue for us. Weather was mostly hot and sunny but on the few cloudy days we drove to the other side of the island and visited Damoni beach which was lovely. Rethymnon was wonderful and we spent many occasions dining there. Lots of choice of restaurants and shops. Overall we wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

Fabulous 10 days!

Villa Zenith is a beautiful villa in an elevated position with super sea views. The property is spacious with excellent outdoors space and a lovely infinity pool. Very comfortable sun loungers. All 4 bedrooms have en-suites which for our group of 3 mature couples worked well. Kitchen is well stocked with all the essential tools and a good quality gas BBQ was a joy. Aircon and fans in bedrooms were essential as we enjoyed wall-to-wall heat and sunshine. Host Stella was informative and responsive and her father greeted us on arrival and popped by regularly to maintain the pool and ensure we were comfortable. We had 2 visits for maid service during our 9-night stay - both were very comprehensive. Location is 75 mins from Heraklion airport - an easy run along the national road until the final 3 or 4 kms which were more rustic. Apart from the villa next door, the property is fairly remote, and very peaceful. The village of Prines is 1.5kms away with limited facilities and there is a good Lidl supermarket within 10 mins drive. Nearest beach 2kms. Overall, an excellent stay and we are very happy to recommend.

De villa en de locatie waren prachtig. Rustig gelegen, met slechts een paar huizen in de omgeving. Je hebt wel een auto nodig. Prachtig uitzicht op de zee. Genoten van onze vakantie en de gastvrijheid van Stella. Snelle en prettige communicatie, zeer behulpzaam! Ook het boeken van een massage is een aanrader! Elefteria (Ellie) is het nichtje van Stella en zeer professioneel! We zijn totaal relaxed en ontspannen teruggekomen van onze vakantie.

We had a great holiday at Villa Zenith. It’s a modern house with full air conditioning in a landscaped garden overlooking the sea. It has a fantastic pool, hot tub and the most beautiful views. The sunsets were amazing and a real treat at the end of the day. Stella, our host, couldn’t have been kinder. She helped with everything we needed and even liaised with a local restaurant to deliver a delicious takeaway. The beach bars nearby were great too with teepees for shade for the children and good food and drink. Nearby Rethymno has a very picturesque old town with streets full of charming restaurants, all very welcoming and family friendly. A great choice and a fantastic host always on hand. Tolles Haus mit einer sehr schönen Aussicht

Wir hatten einek tollen Aufenthalt. Toller herzlicher Empfang, wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Das Haus und das Grundstück waren Top. Alle 3 Tage wurde das Haus gereinigt, damit hatten wir nicht gerechnet. Fliegengitter an allen Fenstern und die Klimaanlage waren Gold wert. Restaurants sowie Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in wenigen Minuten erreichbar.

Just fabulous! Really enjoyed our stay!

Excellent villa, with the amenities you could want spacious living, hot water, air conditioning, clean linen, outside hot tube swimming pool. Very clean modern spacious high quality living with amazing views not too far away from a fantastic village with everything you will need. Stella and her family made us feel very welcome. Just a couple of very small details we have thought of perhaps a welcome pack showing a map of the walk to the village, how the air conditioning works and phone numbers. Also perhaps think of plastic glasses for out side use.

Wonderful stay (and amazing hosts)

The property was absolutely beautiful - stunning views, spacious, clean and had all the amenities we needed. It's a very private property which was perfect. We can't thank the hosts enough - Stella and her father made us feel very welcome and were just so warm and inviting. Communication was very easy with them. They were so accommodating they even stocked our fridge and cupboards with goodies and had a home made cake baked for us by Stella's mother. We cannot recommend this stay enough.

Drømmebolig

Veldig hyggelig og arealeffektiv bolig med et flott uteområde. Det er fire gode soverom - alle med eget bad. Forøvrig god standard og veldig rent . Vi var syv personer og hadde god plass. Nydelig uteområde med infinity pool og fin utsikt onver havet og nordsiden av Kreta. En nytelse om dagen så vel som om kvelden med flotte solnedganger. Det er gangavstand til tre gode og hyggelige tavernaer i landsbyen Prines - dit gikk vi titt og ofte. Veldig hyggelig og imøtekommende vertskap. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake. Kan absolutt anbefale denne boligen.

Exceeded All Expectations

Utterly ideal. Beautiful contemporary centered around view over zero edge pool and out to the Mediterranean. Comfortable, functional space and better furniture than in most rentals. Host family was absolutely lovely and helpful. Location was perfect -- 10-15 minutes outside the chaos of Rethymno with access to nice village amenities.

Cretan hideaway

Loved the property, very modern, good quality furniture and fittings. Plenty of outside space, views to die for, quiet and peaceful location. Stella and family couldn’t have been more welcoming, any problems sorted by return of text message, could do with the name of the villa on the outside gates.

Tolles Haus, gute Lage, sehr freundliche Vermieterin

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus, gut geeignet für eine kleinere Gruppe; man kann auch mal etwas feiern, ohne jemanden zu stören. Der Pool mit Sonnenuntergang ist ein Schmuckstück.

Luxury, beautiful and quite the most amazing sunsets

Luxury and welcoming. Stella and Manoli were wonderful and on hand at any moment of the stay. We received freshly made orange cake from Stella's mother and on one of the nights we received a three course meal, cooked again by Stella's mother. It was such a lovely gesture as having two very small children to cater for can be difficult, so it gave us a night off cooking. The pool and jacuzzi have the most amazing views of the island and when the sun sets of an evening, then we just sat back and and enjoyed a nice clean crispy glass of wine, with a quite incredible sunset. The rooms were all ensuite but we only need three of the four. Very comfortable beds, so we all slept like babies! Basically, we love it and would recommend this villa to everyone. ] Thanks for everything Manoli and Stella.

A Beautiful Villa

This villa was stunning. A beautiful westward sunset view from the sun deck and infinity pool. It fit our group of 8 adults (4 couples) perfectly with each couple having a room and bathroom. The villa was well stocked and exceptionally clean. It was as advertised. Our host Stella and her father were very nice and helpful; even helping us with lost luggage from Aegean Air. One note: stay in contact with Stella and ask to meet at the local market when you arrive. The villa is located in a new area that cannot be found on maps (including google maps). We met Stella’s father and he showed us the way (after trying on our own for some time). I would highly recommend this villa and would stay again!

An Amazing place to stay in Rethymno

This place was absolutely wonderful! There were 6 of us staying at the villa and we all were extremely satisfied! The house is spacious and the outdoor area was amazing. Stella and her father were amazing hosts and was there to answer any questions about getting around, chartering boats, local places to dine and any other questions we had. Will definitely be back to this place!
