Beautiful house, renovated in 2019, surrounded by a forest of 25,000 sqm but at the same time not isolated and extremely prestigious. The villa has a beautiful pool area with the characteristic lava stone from which a waterfall flows. The view of Mount Etna is wonderful. The interior consists of three bedrooms with three bathrooms, a huge living room with different corners: kitchen, fitness, library, television. Large windows overlook the pool and the panorama of Catania. The living room leads to the relaxation area, with a large Jacuzzi overlooking the outdoor pool below. A romantic gate leads to the woods, where there is also a barbecue area for the exclusive use of guests. An oasis of peace and luxury awaits you. The villa is about 2 kilometers from the center of Trecastagni, one of the most famous and refined towns in the area.

Bedrooms (3) and bathrooms (3): one double bedroom on the ground floor; one twin bedroom on the ground floor; one double bedroom on the mezzanine with en-suite bathroom (shower); one bathroom with shower on the ground floor; one bathroom with shower on the ground floor.

Electricity is included up to a consumption of kWh 250 per week. Beyond this limit, it will have a charge of € 0.40 per kWh.
The indoor pool, in the small SPA room, is always full and available to guests. if you wish to have it heated, the additional cost is € 300 for 3 days, or € 500 for a whole week, always hot.

Amazing Stay

This was a wonderful property with a private pool, and the pictures online matched exactly as it was. The host was helpful and was always there to answer questions. It is quite a ways out from anything so a car is recommended if you want to do some exploring. Otherwise it was perfect!

What can we say? A wonderful stay in a wonderful property! We found the house to be well equipped, comfortable, relaxing, and provided with everything you need to spend a few carefree days...Comfortable rooms, fantastic views, a beautiful swimming pool and lots and lots of relaxation!The villa is in an excellent location for visiting all the places of interest, and the village of Trecastagni is only 3 km away, with everything you need.Thanks to the owners and Giuseppe for their assistance during the booking process, and Alfio for his assistance during our stay. Highly recommended!

No hot water for duration. Property manager didn’t show us how to get hot water. Also didn’t show us how to get air conditioning on in the main living space.Nothing to do in the local area.

Ciao Ben, firstly thank you for taking time for letting a feedback. However, I think you should be a little ashamed for leaving a 3-star review just because YOU couldn't get the air conditioning to work, and then because you say there was no hot water in the house for the entire period! But do you really think that people reading this review will believe that there is no hot water in a house like this????? What you said is obviously a lie! Finally, you conclude your masterpiece of a review by saying that there is nothing to do in the area: the villa is located in the Etna Park, the most important natural area in the whole of Southern Europe, and you want us to believe that there is nothing to do???? Perhaps you were looking for an amusement park, a McDonald's, a Shake Shack, and maybe you were disappointed because, instead, just 3 km from the villa, there are “only” wonderful little places with fresh, authentic local food... So I agree with you: there is nothing you were looking for. I wish you a good life! Giuseppe

Family Holiday to chill out and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life

Beautiful house in a quiet area. Luxurious accommodation with incredible facilities and a really beautiful outdoor private pool. The indoor thermal pool was an additional luxury great to cool off after hot days in the sun or to use when the rain came. We didn’t pay to have it heated. The kids loved them both as did we. We even used the indoor gym equipment ! Good way to work off all the lovely food and drink. You do really need a car to get to the local shops, restaurants, and beaches. One to note for those with hungry younger kids, the locals eat late so restaurants didn’t tend to get busy until later equally not many were open until gone 7pm Fantastic stay would highly recommend

A gorgeous house with a breathtaking view of the sea

Fantastic house, grazie mille! There is a big saloon with a gorgeous view of the Mediterranean sea on the background and a funny pool table. The master is very spacious, the other two bedrooms not too much big but absolutely bright and conmfortables. Very clean and spacious kitchen and bathrooms. The interior jacuzzi is very wonderful. The pool area is immersed in an lava flow of the past! What is really very terrific is the forest that you can access both from the pool area or from the kitchen. We had wonderful pic-nic under the old and lush trees. The town centre of Trecastagni (very nice village) is just 2 kms away and there you can find whatever you need: supermakets, restaurants, ATM, fishmongers… Super house, nice owner. Highly recommended

Rural Delight

The Villa was spectacular and unusual. The outdoor swimming pool and downstairs indoor pool area were beautiful. The background of volcanic rock enhance the appearance of the pool area.The outdoor sun loungers were of high quality, so for quieter days it was lovely relaxing by the pool.We had breakfast on the patio every morning which was very pleasant.The main living area in the villa was a unique combination of art gallery and sports hall with numerous paintings and lots off decent equipment for indoor activities.The villa was well equipped. However, we learned how to use a traditional coffee maker on the stove and coped fine without a microwave oven which back home we have become too reliant on.The location of the villa was rural and was essentially set in a wood, so plenty of bird noises to hear along with occasional murmuring from Mount Etna ( which is a quite benign volcano and very closely monitored).A car is very useful ( essential) to have to explore the numerous tourist attractions in that part of Sicily.Communications were good before arrival, and we did not have any issues during our stay.

Sehr außergewöhnliches Haus, große Halle mit Kicker, Billiard und verschiedenen Fitness Geräten, Toller Pool, schöne Terrasse und Aussicht.Allerdings 2 von 3 Schlafzimmern eher klein, Küchenausstattung zum Teil Preis und Standing des Hauses nicht angemessen (Besteck war mit Plastikgabeln aufgefüllt…)

La maison est bien équipée pour les loisirs mais pas trop fonctionnelle . Le lave vaisselle ne lave rien . À l’arrivée la cafetière était cassée ( vite remplacée ) , pas de filtre à café et pas trouvé dans un commerce proche. La situation est très bien pour l’Etna . Globalement je trouve la prestation trop chère.

En ce qui concerne le prix, j'accepte votre avis, mais honnêtement c'est la première fois qu'on nous fait cette plainte, la maison a toujours été très appréciée pour sa beauté, son emplacement et sa fonctionnalité, et personne ne s'est jamais plaint du prix trop élevé. Bonjour la villa et l'endroit étaient vraiment exceptionnels mais petit bémol au niveau des chambres. Chambres "amis" très petites, aucun emplacement pour du rangement et aucune intimité car aucune insonorisation. Très bien pour une famille mais par pour entre amis. Merci à Alfio de l'agence de location pour sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité.
