This was a very last minute anniversary treat getaway so had not really done much research into the property. Honestly the location and size of the garden was just perfect for us. My bulldogs love racing around parks/fields and red roofs garden was like their own private park. Due to the weather they got extremely muddy, red roofs has the perfect space to let them dry off before letting them in main house (apologies for how muddy the provided dog towels got) the lane the house is on is also a godsend as one of our bulldogs has a fear of moving cars and we usually can not road walk her at all, no problem here - that was such a treat for us to be able to walk out the front door rather than us have to drive her somewhere.
The house itself was just our style with the lounge being a stand out room complete with open fire and very generous amount of logs and coal. The dogs and ourselves enjoyed just chilling out looking across the Broad I imagine in summer it will be an amazing space having the French doors open. The downstairs bedroom was very comfortable and loved the electric blanket on the bed, so thoughtful. The kitchen was well stocked with all the usual pots, pans, plates, glasses, etc and the large dining room was a big treat for us on our anniversary meal, even though we felt a bit lost in such a big room with a big table
Even though we only had a short break, we came away feeling well rested and really enjoyed the few days peace and quiet. Definitely recommend this property and would love to come back at some point.
