Perfect Location!

My girlfriend’s family rented a place directly across the walkway from this place so it worked out perfectly. It was a great friends and family vacation! Would stay here again!

Great location and neighborhood

The central section of Mission Beach is great for families and rentals, the crowds are small at the beach and all the rentals are so close to beach. We loved the patio that was large and looked right out to the water. The unit is a bit dated but we don't care about that, it's about being 25' from the sand. Will definitely stay again.

Thanks for the 5 stars. Glad you enjoyed your stay. What is dated? All new vinyl windows. The bathroom was gutted and redone with updated tumblestone. The kitchen was gutted and redone with new white cabinetry and quartz counters. There is a new stove and frig and dishwasher and Pull out trash and recycle bins. We left the beautiful original fir flooring which was refinished. We would like to know what you suggest is dated so we can update. Thank you.

Perfect Beach Getaway!

We absolutely loved our time at the cozy beach property! Location was impeccable. Home was perfect for our needs and the large patio made it amazing to enjoy the weather while still enjoying the beach views. 10/10 recommend !

Cute little place!

Cute little place for our family of 5. Great location. Kids all slept in living room on the pull outs. The property itself needs some upgrades but overall it was a nice place to stay!

Would like to know what you suggest. We have a NEW kitchen with quartz counters and NEW bathroom and all new windows. We have kept the original fir wood flooring as it is one of the original beach cottages on Mission Beach.

Mission Beach

Excellent location. Exterior run down, in need of painting. Interior has updated kitchen. Furniture is adequate.

Thank you for your review. Regarding the painting of the exterior: Your arrived on Oct 13 and departed Oct. 17. The adjacent cottage (3829) was painted Oct 12, 14, 15 and 16. You must have noticed as the painters were on the property physically and with their vehicles. We ARE IN THE PROCESS of painting all 4 cottages (3825 was completed 2 weeks ago). We must only do this work when the cottages are vacant. We do not want to disturb guests occupying them. You did not mention the lovely spacious patio area and delightful landscaping. I am wondering if the completed painting would prompt your review from 4 to 5????????????

Quick beach trip

Everything was exactly as described. Great ocean view from patio. Literally a few steps to the sand. Had all the basics needed. The parking was a bit tight but i do believe that is even mentioned in the ad so we were prepared. We could not back our Durango all the way in otherwise we could not open the doors so we just put over half of the vehicle in the garage, enough to not be in the way of others.

Conflicted

Beautiful view, area, surroundings. I always take my own linen, towels. Family member used a guest towel which had a sour smell to it ( sometimes towels get old and should be thrown away). We forgot to pack two bags of laundry that we had outside. By the time we got back to get the bags they had been emptied out on the table and our linens/towels were gone. Not really a big deal but I am hoping that the establishment did not think we were trying to take their belongings because we brought these from home. We had the windows open the whole time we were there, would leave them slightly open towards night as the ocean breeze gets beautifully chilly. It is during the night when the windows are closed more it seems to gather up a not so clean fresh smell inside. By the third night I could not sleep in the room because I kept smelling an awful smell like garbage. The only thing I could think of was perhaps the garbage cans that are on the bottom maybe that smell would come up. Other than the smell coming up to the bedroom and the stuffiness of the bedroom enhancing that odor everything was very nice and very comfortable.

On the camera we saw the guest drop a white garbage bag from the second floor upper porch.to the patio below. Was going to take it to the black trash can on the alley. As I was carrying it, it did not feel like normal trash so I looked inside and then dumped it on the patio table. It was mostly dirty clothes, but had 2 ragged, stained towels and 1 sheet. Those items did not seem like something we provided and not the colors in the cottage. I called the guest to report they left their dirty laundry and asked if they intended to leave it for trash. They did not and said they would return to retrieve it. It was all left on the patio table. Before they responded, we put the 2 ragged and stained towels, 1 beach towel and 1 bath towel. and sheet in the washer. They said they did not care about them. So we intended to use them for rags. Regarding the odor. Perhaps it was the ocean odor as our unit does NOT smell, Matter of face we pride ourselves on our cleanliness.

We had a wonderful time! The place was clean and fresh and the view was amazing! Our property manager was very friendly and we plan in the future to go through VRBO again in the future! The only thing was that the bed did not fit both of us.

Exactly as advertised

It is a small little cottage right by the water. It was just big enough for my family, but I think we will have to find something bigger next year since our kids probably won’t all fit on the couch again. But we loved our stay.

Relaxation on Mission Beach

The stay was awesome! Nice cozy cottage with a great location and view within walking distance of many shops, bars and restaurants! First time not staying in a hotel and it was great! Will definitely look to stay in this area again! Met Sarina several times, awesome lady!

Great beachside cottage

We loved staying in 707 Seagirt. One house from the beach and close to the bay as well.
