The building that this condo is in has horrible cell phone service. If you are dependent on using your phone, don’t rent from this condo or apartment building. Also, the pool was very dirty and while being there for seven days I seen it being cleaned once and when you have hundreds of people in that pool every day, it should be maintained at least every other day.

Dear Margaret, You caused a significant large black stain and ruined the king bedroom quilt set. When the cost for replacement quilt from Kohls was deducted from your deposit, you threatened to write me a bad review. You never reached out during your stay about any concerns or questions. If you did not have good cell phone service, you should have utilized calling over WiFi if needed which all modern cell phones have...you just have to turn it on. I would have been happy to tell you about this, but you never mentioned it. Gateway Grand is the nicest building in OC. I'm sorry you had a negative experience. I wish you better luck in the future with your trips.

Beach Blast

Fantastic accommodations, very conveniently located in Ocean City. Unit supplies everything you could possibly need or want including access to all beach equipment. Would highly recommend. Had a wonderful time.

Awesome

This was our 2nd time staying at this property...the place works out so great for our family of 7 (Me and my wife, along with our 4 grown daughters, and son-in-law). Amazing family time in a beautiful setting. Thank you Sara - we hope to continue this annual tradition next year as well!

Great OC Condo A+

Great views of ocean and beach. Very clean with a well-stocked kitchen with everything you need. Airy and spacious with a large dining room table that seated 8, although we only had 6. Stayed here for the second time and will repeat. The only thing lacking is enough balcony furniture.

We enjoyed our stay. Sara was very efficient and accommodating. Everything was there that you needed and labeled for easy return to ther spots. We were very confortable and our family treated it as if it were our own. Thank you Sara!

Fabulous family vacation

Our family enjoyed our stay in Ocean City. The condo had an amazing oceanfront view! Sunrises did not disappoint. The unit was clean and had all the comforts of home. Sara was friendly in her correspondence which making booking and communicating prior to our arrival easy. Many special memories were made. See you next time, OCMD!

1609 Gateway Grand Ocean Front

Condo was clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies. Kitchen has been updated (stayed there for 3 years) and looks great and is very functional. The view from the balcony takes in the coastline up and down the beach (spectacular). Owner is easy to work with and responds appropriately to answer questions or address concerns. Great condo! Highly recommend.

June 28 - July 4 2025

This is the third time our family has stayed at this condo. It’s location is within walking distance of many places to eat Dumsers ice cream, Seacrets , Dough Roller just to name a few. The view of the sunrise and the ocean is spectacular. It’s just a short walk to the beach. The condo itself is lovely , the bedrooms are a good size and the kitchen , dining and living areas are comfortable. We also enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pool.Having a parking garage is very convenient as well. We all had a terrific time each time we have stayed here we have never been disappointed and will hope to stay here again!

Great condo in the best building in Ocean City MD

I have stayed at the ocean grand several times. There is a reason my family and I keep on coming back. The ocean grand is the nicest building in Ocean City. This particular condo has an awesome uninterrupted view on the ocean side. When we weren’t on the beach my family loved sitting at the window, or on the balcony just looking out at the ocean and the beach. The unit has been updated and has been comfortably decorated. Everything you need is available in unit, from kitchen appliances to clean linens and towels. My kids loved having nice TVs in their rooms for wind down time. My family and I have a high standard for quality and cleanliness and we feel very comfortable recommending this unit to anyone looking for a great stay at the beach. Booking and communication with the owner was smooth and efficient. Don’t hesitate to book with them for your next trip.

Great place to stay!

We loved our stay, it was great for our family of 5 to spread out with enough bedrooms and bathrooms. Loved the location, and the view was amazing! Being on the 16th floor made it feel like we were looking out the windows of a cruise ship. The deck chairs were super comfortable and we absolutely loved hearing the ocean. Loved having a washer and dryer and lots of extra sheets, pillows and blankets. Definitely could have used more wash cloths, hand towels, dish cloths and dish towels though. This may have been one of the cleanest beach rentals I have experienced. The tile floors were very clean, free from sand, and the kitchen and bathrooms quite clean. The only downsides were that the inside of the kitchen and bathroom cupboards, along with the dresser drawers, really needed a good cleaning. Also cleaning around the perimeters of the rooms- baseboards and corners. We did stay at the end of the season, so a good spring cleaning would solve this. Should we return to Ocean City, Maryland, I would not hesitate to stay here again. Sara was a great host and was quick to respond to any questions. We enjoyed the boardwalk and were pleasantly surprised to find many of the stores still open in October. We found lots of great restaurants and had perfect weather for most of the week!

Overall fabulous week at the Grand. The views from the apartment in the 16th floor are amazing. The unit was recently redone so it was beautiful and comfortable. It was also clean and well appointed. Check in and all processes super easy. Only downside in my opinion is that this layout prioritizes common space over bedroom space (maximizing that incredible view). If you are with 6 adults I prefer the other 3 bedroom GG layout with the master in the front so that the second bedroom is bigger. But that’s just my preference. Others may prefer having the full wall of Ocean!

WOW - Great Condo!!!!

Our family stayed at this beautiful condo in Ocean City for a week in August - ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!!! We had a terrific week of family bonding and relaxing. Sara was a terrific host and we appreciated the cleanliness of the condo, the perfect location, the amazing view, and ability to just unwind and enjoy the beach for a week - awesome!!! We loved seeing dolphins swimming out in the ocean from the balcony with our morning coffee. We made good use of the kitchen for our breakfast and dinner meals - the condo was well stocked, and we had everything you could need. We especially appreciated the beach umbrella and chairs, which are kept in the on site storage area. Thank you Sara - we are looking forward to staying here again in the future!!!

Great Condo

Place was very clean, well stocked with kitchen supplies and all amenities were as advertised. Views from the balcony were outstanding. Beach access close and easy. Had difficulty receiving emails from owner. She went out of her way to resend them to insure I had all the necessary information. Can’t go wrong with this condo.

Great Stay!

We had a wonderful stay! Sara was helpful and accommodating from beginning to end. The location was terrific and close to so many restaurants and attractions. The view was absolutely beautiful. The condo was clean, well equipped, and very comfortable for our family. The building was easy to navigate and we enjoyed the indoor pool and gym each day.

Great location on the beach

This is a very nice property in a great location. The owner Sara was very responsive to our questions and arranged for a maintenance problem to be quickly resolved. The kitchen is well equipped and the unit is spacious. Great view of the ocean. Would stay again.
