Lazy Bear Lodge er et smukt hånd-bygget bjælkehytte med hjerte fyrretræ gulve og synlige bjælker. året rundt langtrækkende udsigt Det er fantastisk, som kabinen sidder i en højde af næsten 3300 fod. Desuden er kabinen placeret på næsten 5 acres støder op til Pinnacle Park med nem adgang til store vandrestier.

Afsondret udendørs område komplet med et varmt karbad, brand pit, grill og picnic bord er et af højdepunkterne i vores hytte. Mange af vores gæster fortæller os, at de starter dagen med kaffe på veranda rockers og afslutte dagen med s'mores ved brand pit. Nogle fortæller selv os, at de aldrig forlade ejendommen!

Lazy Bear Lodge ligger kun få minutter fra downtown Sylva, cirka 20 minutter fra Cherokee Casino og Great Smoky Mountains National Park, og omkring 30 minutter fra Ghost Town in the Sky, Cataloochee Ski Resort, og Maggie Valley.

Hjemmet har alt hvad du behøver for en fantastisk ferie weekend eller multi-ugers ferie, herunder et godt lager køkken (se vores anmeldelser!) og en enorm gård bord med plads til 12.

Cozy Retreat

We have stayed here multiple times and it is just perfect for us. The views are amazing and it is so convenient to get to town and around the area. The hosts are great to work with and we will be coming back.

Great anniversary getaway!

This was truly a great Vrbo experience. The property and views were amazing. The attention to the little details were great. Plenty to do in and around Sylva. Would love to come back some day!

Charming Cabin Retreat

My partner and I stayed at the Lazy Bear Cabin and it was even better than the listing photos. Very clean, immaculate, and secluded. The view was stunning as was the cabin and the grounds. Everything worked as it should and the hosts were amazing. Never any issue getting in contact with them and they were extremely helpful and kind. I cannot say enough positive things about our stay and we will definitely return in the future! I am saving this to our getaway list!

Spectacular view!

My husband and I had a perfect stay relaxing in the hot tub and drinking coffee on the porch overlooking the mountains. The view is 10/10! We did a little hiking and antique shopping in Maggie Valley as well. We plan on coming back for another stay with our 3 kids.

Perfect mountain getaway

We loved our stay at this wonderful cabin. Trisha was incredibly helpful in planning our hikes and visit to the area. The cabin is idyllic - gorgeous views, privacy and quiet, comfortable furniture and beds. And we very much appreciated the extra touches and amenities throughout. Hot tub was clean and in a wonderful spot. We highly recommend!

Peaceful retreat

Great place to get away from it all. Really enjoyed the rustic ambiance of the cabin. Loved the fireplace on chili mornings and the fire pit to wind down each evening. A true gem. We're already planning our next trip!

The best cabin!

My husband and I took our two young children to this charming cabin and couldn’t have been more pleased by every bit of our stay! Trisha, our host, was so communicative and helpful throughout our trip. The property was incredibly clean and welcoming. We stayed for the weekend and cooked hot dogs and s’mores by the fire pit both nights. The views were amazing too. I would strongly suggest booking this property, we cannot wait to return for another trip soon!!

Lovely cabin the mountains

Just what we were looking for - secluded, quiet and in a beautiful setting! Lazy Bear Lodge is not only well maintained, nicely decorated and fully stocked, the grounds are so lovely and well thought out. I already miss the view and sound of the birds each morning and evening! The hot tub, fire pit and grill were immaculate and a great place to spend the evening. Highly recommend!

Great Stay at the Lazy Bear Lodge

Great rustic cabin, easy to get to with an amazing view. It was well stocked with kitchen Utensils, and firewood. Rustic yet modernized with great wifi, and streaming TV shows. The layout allowed us various options from relaxing in the living room ,porch or at the firepit or in the jacuzzi. Sylva is minures away with great resturaunts and , parks. Overall an exceptional place to stay!! Thanks to Trisha for being a great host!!

Absolutely perfect. It was quiet, relaxing, and just what we needed. Everything was clean and the cabin was just like the pictures. We could have stayed a month, it was that nice. Trisha checked up on us to make sure our expectations were met, which they were and more! Definitely want to come back.

Absolutely Perfect

This beautiful cabin has the perfect mix of modern vibe with original rustic mountain feel. We booked 3 nights for a relaxing weekend to unwind for my birthday, little did I know it turned into a surprise engagement trip. Everything about this place was amazing. From the view to the provided necessities, to the hospitality. Trisha and her husband are wonderful hosts and checked in with us to make sure everything was to our liking. We will absolutely be back. I miss that sweet little cabin already.

Perfect weekend get away

We just returned from our weekend and loved every minute of it. Nothing but the sound of wind coming over the mountain, which was perfect for us. The kitchen is well stocked with all the necessities for a much longer stay. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit area both nights we stayed. The view from the porch is breathtaking. We were visiting Western Carolina Univeristy with our daughter and this will be our first pick where to stay when visiting, should she decide upon WCU.

Best Cabin Yet

We have stayed at over seven cabins in the Blue ridge mountains. This by far took the enchanted feeling of the mountains to another level. This property was exactly that enchanting. Just the perimeter of the cabin felt like we went to heaven. Amazing cabin for our 10th anniversary with friends. We felt like we travel back in time waking up each day seeing the clouds float through the mountains while taking in the feel of this beautiful cabin. We enjoyed Hiking, cabin hummingbirds, visiting Sylva, visiting the Biltmore and just spending time at the cabin. We could’ve booked seven days and never left the cabin. We will be back 100% and will be planning our next trip at this beautiful cabin. Highly recommend.

Relaxing in the smokies!

Upon entering the cabin you are struck with the amazing long range views of the smokies and the beautifully landscaped yard only added to the ambiance! Spent many an hour on the covered rocking chair porch that extended the open floor plan of this true log cabin! The updated kitchen, long bench table, den furniture and small separate table/chairs off den was very cozy and comfortable. The outside fire pit and seating was a big hit, didn’t get to enjoy the hot tub only because not chilly enough. The close quaint towns of Silva/Dilsboro/Waynesville were amazing for shopping and dinning…as was the golf and kayaking! The owners were extremely responsive to our needs and went above board to make our stay a memorable one! Keith and Debbie

The Perfect Getaway

If you are looking for a peaceful log cabin property with amazing long range views, your search is over. This property delivers all of that...and so much more. The cabin itself was very clean and the owners have thought of every detail...down to the snack bags with everything you need for a quick day hike and the blankets to take outside on chilly nights. Plenty of coffee and hot chocolate, more than enough wood for campfires, the hot tub was clean and ready for use within minutes, and the views from every part of the property are amazing. We probably spent more time on the back patio than anywhere else. The long range view, privacy, and peacefulness were exactly what we were looking for. We brought our dog along and she enjoyed it as much as we did. Having Pinnacle Park at the end of the driveway is a fantastic bonus! So many beautiful waterfalls all within an easy 0.5 mile hike. Plus longer hikes for the more experienced hikers. The town of Sylva is within 10 minutes and has a great downtown area, plus it is a great central location for Gatlinberg, Cherokee, Asheville, and Nantahala. We loved every moment spent at this property and the surrounding area. We will definitely be back!

Best View in the NC Smokies

The pictures just don’t do it justice. The view is literally the best view I’ve had in my many stays in the area. It’s private, it’s quiet, it’s easy to access. The cabin is so well appointed and thought-out. Trisha even had a flashlight hanging right by the entry - she just thought of everything. The coffee bar is adorable, the fireplace was such a treat on these cool fall evenings. We had a barred owl and great horned owl as visitors our first morning and then a black bear the second morning. It was such a fulfilling experience. The fire pit was perfect and had firewood available. The hot tub was extremely clean and a welcomed amenity to relax in after hiking. The property and cabin was so clean and well cared for. Trisha really hit it out of the park with this place. I usually stay in a new cabin every time I come to the area four times a year, but I can confidently say that I don’t need to go anywhere else in the future. Trisha was very responsive and helpful. Some renters mentioned the upstairs bedroom getting hot with the fireplace running. While that is true, you know, since heat rises thanks to the laws of thermodynamics, we found that if we turned the fireplace off about 15 minutes before we headed to bed that it was back to being the same temp as the rest of the houses All in all you can’t go wrong with this property. What a gem!
