We had a fantastic stay. The house was spacious, cosy and comfortable with all the creature comforts you could wish for. Perfect for 2 families sharing. George was a fantastic host and available for all questions and queries before, during and after our stay. Would definitely recommend and we hope to stay again in future.

Our host George was very accommodating both ahead of and during our visit. The chalet was perfectly positioned for supermarkets, bars, restaurants and easy access via buses to the slopes. The chalet was spotless, homely and spacious which made for a perfect Christmas break.

Beautiful chalet in the heart of Morzine!

This outstanding property is so well looked after and has all the amenities you could possibly wish for! For two families of five there was so much space and it was only a few minutes walk from the town. The ski lift was walkable and the views just beautiful! The owners couldn’t have been more attentive - thank you for a wonderful holiday over New Year!

Fantastic Chalet

Chalet Chanterelle is in an excellent location, a 10 minute walk to the centre of Morzine. We were a party of 10 adults and found the property roomy, well equipped and spotlessly clean. With its lovely views and bright open plan living area it's conducive to a happy, convivial holiday atmosphere. It is obviously a well loved and respected home which we hope to return to in the future.

Chalet Chanterelle

A spacious, homey and well equipped chalet. Ideally located next to a bus stop and large supermarket and just a short walk from central Morzine. The owners were so thoughtful: providing a welcome bottle of wine and lots of helpful information about the locality prior to arrival. The fact that the bedrooms are on the ground and second floors make it ideal for two families to have their own sleeping spaces. Perfect for our party of 10! Highly recommended.

Perfect Christmas break

We had a lovely time at the chalet. It really felt like a home from home and was really well equipped for our group of ten. Not only are the views over the valley superb but the house is also really centrally placed; a short walk to the well-stocked supermarket and about 5 to 10 minutes into the main square of the town and to ski lifts. The chalet is really practical for skiers too, with ample storage as you go in, a good-sized utility room for washing and drying, and a separate boot room for skis and boots under the house. It was our first time skiing and George and Jenny were so helpful with information on transfers, ski passes, ski hire and restaurants. We'd love to return.

"Seniorenskifahrt"

Das Chalet ist hervorragend ausgestattet, vor allem die Küchenausstattung läßt für Kochfans keine Wünsche offen.Gemütliche Einrichtung und viel Platz (wir waren zu acht). Der Skiraum und die Garagen sind perfekt. Die zentrale Lage ist perfekt für die Erreichbarkeit der Geschäfte, Lifte, Skibus und Schwimmbad, Autonutzung überflüsig. Einziger Wermutstropfen ist die direkte Lage an der Durchgangsstrasse, morgens ab fünf wird es laut auch mit geschlossenen Fenstern. LKW-Zulieferverkehr und Pkws fahren leider nicht die vorgeschriebene dreißiger Geschwindigkeit und dröhnen in den Schlafzimmern. Sonst ein perfekter Urlaubsort ;-))

When it snows overnight the snowploughs, which can be a little noisy, are activated in the early hours of the morning to clear the roads in time for the day’s activities. Famille du 53

Chalet cossu et chaleureux, idéalement placé pour rejoindre les pistes où aller en ville ( courses, bars, restaurants..). Avantage du parking et des garages, adapté pour les retours de pistes pour la gestion des skis, chaussures…4 salles d’eau, buanderie, cuisine bien achalandée, vaste séjour de qualité pour le bonheur de tous. À recommander dans cette belle ville de caractère animée pour tout âge.

Wonderful chalet in excellent location

10 of us had an excellent week in this chalet over new year. Great communication with the owners, spotlessly clean and very well equipped - everything you could want was there. Great location for skiing Morzine or Avoriaz - really good to have two garages too if you happen to drive to the snow, no issues with frost in the mornings! Easy walk to the shops. Really recommend it and will go again.

Very nice with a beautiful view from the lounge of the slopes and mountaiins.

We had a lovely time. It was a real pleasure to return and cook and relax in such comfortable surrouundings.

Fabulous chalet!

We have just returned from a week's stay at Chalet Chanterelle and have had a fabulous time. Having experienced the stress of a flight cancellation and arriving 24 hours later than planned, it was great to finally arrive at the chalet, which is spacious, nicely furnished and beautifully finished. The pictures on the website doesn't give the chalet the credit it deserves! It is really well kitted out with all of the kitchenware, glassware cutlery etc. you could need for your stay and has a very homely feel. The location is perfect for both ski lifts and town. We couldn't have asked for more! Highly recommended.

Awesome Christmas week stay in a true home away from home!

We had a wonderful Christmas in this large and bright home. We were a family of 9 and there was plenty of room for everyone, and enough bathrooms. Very spacious and homey. It was well equipped, and had everything we could possibly want or need in a home. Also, just across the road from Carrefour supermarket and easy walking distance into town. If we ever go back to Morzine, we will certainly stay there again. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us.
