Peaceful and beautiful place to stay in Paradise

We loved staying in this quiet, beautiful and peaceful place close to the ocean. We walked right down to the beach and were also able to walk right into Waikiki. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful location

We enjoyed our stay. Excellent location - we were able to walk to Waikiki and there are a couple of smaller beaches within walking distance. We also enjoyed the gated parking as we had a car. Would recommend this wonderful cottage.

Great quite location for family

The house was awesome, location seemed like a tropical paradise. The various seating areas are very quiet and relaxing. The house is relatively close to several popular tourist locations and easy to get around.

Peaceful & Beautiful

We had a great time and loved listening to the birds each morning. It's close enough to walk a few places and we felt safe and comfortable. The gardens around the house are incredible!

Family getaway

This is the most beautiful property. It was like staying in a nature preserve with the incredible assortment of birds. You are close to Waikiki, but are able to relax in a truly magical setting and feel far away from the crowds. We really enjoyed our time there.

Holiday in Diamond Head

Wonderful and relaxing. Our family of 4 including 2 adult sons had a great time. Plenty of room, great location and a wonderful host. Hoping to be back soon. Loved the grey cat too.

Quiet jungle hideaway

This is a great spot if you want a nice quiet retreat. Short walk down a steep hill to the water and also very close to Waikiki. Host is on premises and super nice. If the pool is finished for you it will be even better.

Incredibly unique private escape

At the foot of Diamond Head within the nature preserve, this is truly a slice of paradise. At the beach all day we came back to a variety of plants, trees, birds, the occasional Bufo Toad and more. Very relaxing.

Majestic zen oasis

This is an incredible property right in the middle of everything but feels millions of miles away. Well stocked with beach towels, linens, beach toys, and everything a family could need for an escape to Hawaii. The downstairs "outdoor" shower was particularly enjoyable. I hope we can book again for our next Hawaii excursion.

Beautiful Home

First time in Hawaii, picking this home was a very good decision. View is fantastic, home was fantastic. J was extremely helpful, courteous, and respectful when it came to privacy. I would recommend this home for future visits to the island.

Fantastic stay at THE base of Diamond Head

Very lovely location, gated & private parking and we were closer to the beach then realized! The home has ALL amenities imagined for your stay amd the liason is more than happy to offer insight on places to go to eat, hike, etc. Must stay here! Only challenge is the roly poly guys that visit the lower house and require frequent sweeping but it's worth it. Thanks JLo!

Private wilderness in the city

Birds sang for hours every morning, and the beach with a full view the sunset was about a block and a half’s walk from the house. I did homework that’s nice The hosts have exquisite taste, with subtle sculptures scattered across the grounds.

Relaxing Christmas Getaway

My family and I stayed at this beautiful VRBO for 9 nights over the Christmas holidays. It did not disappoint! It felt like we were living in a tree house in the middle of a jungle. The birds sung to us in the morning and the trade winds kept us cool in the evening. The beaches were close by and within walking distance. Overall, I would highly recommend this VRBO to anyone with families numbering 3 to 6.

Great house in a beautiful surrounding

We adored the peaceful, secluded terrace of this lovely property nestled at the base of Diamond Head, surrounded by lush tropical greenery. The tranquility and soothing bird sounds were a perfect contrast to the vibrant Waikiki, just a short distance away. The property was well-equipped, leaving us wanting for nothing. While we did notice a slightly musty smell from the washing machine and dishwasher, we would still highly recommend this property to family and friends. The overall experience was fantastic, and we can't wait to return.

Christmas in Paradise

This property is Amazing! Everything it is advertised to be! A private, little piece of paradise. Location is both private and lush and also convenient to Waikiki or a trip towards the North Shore. Mr. Lo was available to us for questions and we saw him once or twice working around the main house. We also made friends with a local cane toad! The house and property are wonderful and would be at the very top of our list for another stay on Oahu! Mahalo!

Beautiful sanctuary of tranquility and nature

This is a jewel in Oahu - we love the surroundings and the beautiful placements of statues that remind us of zen and tranquility. As you walk down to the cottage, you can feel the sense of relaxation seeping into your body. Lots of places to sit and simply hear the sounds of birds singing. The property manager JLo is super friendly and responsive to questions. Bring bug spray or mosquito repellent..Very close to Diamond head and the beach…easy walk down but a walk uphill to get back to the house. We would come here again when we visit Oahu…
