Thankyou we had a wonderful time, very dog friendly. Parking for 2 cars. The lane is narrow and single track road but we never had an issue.We will book again.Lovely walks to Holywell and polly joke from the house.

We're home

perfectly little holiday home

It was such a lovely holiday cottage and it was so much bigger inside than I realised it would be. I would recommend that people drive in and reverse out as it is very tight for parking. The owner was amazing and we had a lovely stay here.

Home from home

We loved the mews, our little dog loved it too. So peaceful especially in the evenings for a great nights sleep. So close to Holywell which was fantastic. Didn’t want to leave, a lovely place

Stylish, genuinely dog-friendly property.

The weather was mixed so even more important to stay in a tasteful, well equipped property. We loved the patio with the lights on, the large comfy sofa, the bright airy feel. The Mews is tucked away but very convenient for Holywell beach and dog walks on Cubert common.

Lovely rental for our holiday

Lovely accommodation. Very clean and well catered for all needs & activities. Easy communication and detailed information for easy use of all appliances. Secure garden and easy access to accommodation shops and beaches Highly recommend this let.

Great

This was our second visit to the Mews and as to last year we had a excellent week with outstanding weather. The property had all we required to make our holiday very relaxing and comfortable. Good walks to Crantock, Polly Joke Bay and Holywell Bay. Look forward to returning again soon.

Beautiful

We had a lovely family holiday at The Mews. The wetsuits provided were a great benefit, as we wanted our young people to have a go at surfing. The bird feeder was beautiful. It gave us a very comfortable place to stay during our visit to Newquay.

Mews Stay

Clean and well catered for all needs & activities. Parking a bigger car with sensors in a tight lane may get annoying, Secure garden for our dog and easy access to beaches Recommend and am sure we will be back (As this was our 1st holiday in 4yrs after being living kidney donor to my wife last July).

Lovely House, Great Location.

Wonderful place to stay, the house clean, cosy and has everything you need for a home from home stay. Great location for exploring Cornwall. Close to some amazing beaches and only short drives to the must visit tourist hotspots. Although we couldn’t use the garden (visited in January) it is a lovely little space and totally dog friendly which is always a bonus when travelling with four legged family members. Communication was great and we really appreciated the call from Ian on arrival day. Thoroughly recommend The Mews and fully intend to come and stay again in the future.

a brilliant holiday & accommodation

we stayed here the first week of October and what a lovely place it is. 1 and a half mile walk down to Holywell bay or porth joke where we saw lots of seals and only an hour down to lands end so perfect location. When we arrived we loved the little touches like milk in the fridge, bread and fudge in the welcome basket. Our dog willow was the most chilled out she’s ever been in a house away from home and we also loved the dog friendly touches like the bed, bowls and enclosed garden. We will definitely be back! Lovely house in a fantastic location.

We have stayed at The Mews two years running as we were so impressed after the first visit. The house is lovely and airy, yet cosy and comfortable. The location is ideal for travelling to Newquay, Truro, Padstow etc and is within a couple of miles of two stunning beaches if you want to stay local. The owners have thought of every detail and provided everything you will need to self cater. The beds have crisp white cotton sheets and duvet covers and the towels provided are soft and white. The garden is fully enclosed so its safe for dogs and little ones, and there is ample parking. They always provide a lovely welcome basket full of Cornish goodies and you will find milk, tea and coffee on arrival,

Back again

We have re booked this fantastic holiday home again as it really does suit our needs . This time we were not greeted with the usual welcome pack and our milk was unusable. Our other concern is the EV charge it appears to be the most expensive in the area and we used Crantock village hall charging point as much cheaper, the charge rate needs to be reviewed and addressed in line with others. The convenience of a home charger one should be able to charge at “off peak “ rates .

Lovely break at The Mews

We loved our stay at the Mews. Comfortable, well-equipped and good quality furnishings. Secure garden for the dog. The welcome pack including scones, jam and cream was very much appreciated. Ian was also very helpful. Great location for exploring Cornwall, although surrounding access lanes very narrow for bigger cars. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing stay

Everything about the cottage was great, beautiful and we couldn’t have asked for more, clean and very well stocked of all the needs for our stay, they have thought of everything. Our dog Hugo really enjoyed his stay too. Definitely recommend.

Very special property

This is a lovely property that has been thoughtfully furnished and fitted out. The kitchen had plenty of pans, glassware, crockery and utensils so self catering was easy. The only thing that could be added would be oven gloves but with covid etc, it might be simply that these are not presently viable. The whole place is airy and flooded with light. The living space is very well designed and there is parking for 2 cars. The local area has lots of appeal, 3 great beaches, farm shop, walks and a good setting off point for bigger attractions like Eden, Camel trail and St Michael's Mount. We loved it at the Mews and are grateful to the owners for sharing there Cornish home with us whilst we were in Cornwall.

Fabulous

Lovely and quite location with easy access to the main roads It’s a little gem .. everything in the property worked how it should ... it’s very clean and comfortable and cozy We would highly recommend this for a break in Cornwall And have a lovely time as we did Our pet dog enjoyed his stay as much as us We will certainly love to come back ..
