Great location in west end of Glasgow, tube station nearby if needed but downtown is easy walk away. Lots of pubs and restaurants nearby. Gillian and co. were great with communication at all times, very responsive. Apartment itself was perfect.

This is a very convenient location for the West End and the University area. Host was very attentive and friendly. The property was perfect for our stay. I would use this again and highly recommend.

Super convenient location between two subway stops and lots of little shops and amazing restaurants within walking distance. Two issues with this property: 1. If you have a car the on street parking has a 3 hour limit and the nearest suggested car park was a subway stop away. 2: Check-in process was not accurate. There were more keys than needed and we were told the wrong key for the outer door. However, I would still recommend this location. Having two bedrooms and a large bathroom was wonderful! Everything was clean and fresh. One bed was firmer and the other was more cushy. Perfect location to see what Glasgow has to offer.

The goodClean and within walking distance to Kellingrove Park and Museum, the botanical gardens, a couple small grocery stores, and several restaurants.The beds were decent and offered a dresser and rack to hang clothes so you didn't have to live out of a suitcase for your whole stay.The not so goodIt's an old building and the flat is right next to Great Western Road so it can be a bit noisy at night when trying to sleep.Please, more light in the kitchen! It's so dark in there when it's not daylight.This flat was on the second floor, which was actually the third floor to us Americans. If you count the ground floor and the tall ceilings, you have quite a few stairs to climb to get to the door which can be difficult for some. My elderly aunt struggled a bit, especially when trying to carry her luggage up and down, so keep that in mind if stairs are not your thing.I'm not quite sure what all the keys were for as they were not labeled, so it was a bit of trial an error to find the correct one to use. There were two normal looking keys, but only one opened the lobby door into the building.. Then, there were 3 skeleton keys, but only one worked the deadbolt in the flat. Perhaps the rest were for the interior doors (bedrooms and bathrooms) as they also had keyholes? Labeling the keys would be helpful.Overall, it was a decent place to stay for vacation. You were close to things, without being in the heart of busy Glasgow.

My family and I had a very comfortable and easy stay at this roomy and pleasant flat in an ideal neighborhood. We loved discovering the great neighborhood shops, restaurants and gorgeous parks/walkways nearby and also easy access to public transportation.A great place to have as home base while exploring and enjoying Glasgow!

Went to Glasgow for a family wedding. The flat was very comfortable with shops and restaurants only steps away. The subway was a few blocks away which is only 2 stops from the town.Lots of parks nearby. Centrally located in Glasgow. Thanks Gillian for a nice stay.

West end Glasgow

Apartment was as described, clean and had all facilities required. The location was good at the side of the west end nearer to the City Center. Wifi was excellent and easy to access. Self check in was straightforward with good details.

Apartment was comfortable and spacious and very clean. Check-in was difficult because opening the key lockbox was a challenge; there were 4 skeleton keys and it was time consuming to figure out which one was correct to get into the apartment. Checking out was harder because the key lockbox would not close. Bathroom sink is slow to drain. Great location for restaurants, transportation and Kelvingrove. Nice upgrades to kitchen and bathroom, comfy beds and nice big windows.

For those who enjoy the hustle and bustle of the city

Very close to everything. Place was clean. Stocked kitchen. The freezer needed to be defrosted. The bathroom was big. Our neighbors upstairs had loud parties on Saturday nights but we managed to get through it. Would recommend for young adults who want to stay in the city.

Great location, spacious apartment

We loved the location of the apartment - super close to the train and bus lines and very walkable to all the neighborhoods we love in the West End. The restaurants and cafes nearby were endless which was a delight. The apartment is quite large which is great, and if you are planning on working the wi-fi was one of the fastest we had on our trip. The only note I'd say is if you're hoping to stay for a longer stay and cook a bit the set-up is a bit limited (for example we never found scissors). But plenty of the normal pots and baking pans. Highly recommend!

Kelvinbridge flat

We enjoyed our stay, as it was a great location, just a short walk to the subway and local attractions. The flat was very clean and quite spacious. We felt the furnishings were very spartan, and it would have been nice to have a full length mirror. Labelling the keys would have been helpful, as we were a little confused at first. Parking is very expensive, but that is not the owners fault, as it is the same all over the West End. The hosts were also very responsive to my questions.

Lovely place, just needs some TLC

This tenement is a lovely spot and in a great location. Just a few steps to make it perfect; Cleaning needs to improve. When I arrived there were dirty contact lenses and old make up brushes lying about the place. Also, the bins hadn’t been emptied. The kitchen surfaces were dirty and I had to go out and buy cleaning spray and hoover the place. Heating - it would be good in winter for the heating to be put on before guests arrive - it was bitter on arrival and with it being an old building with high ceilings it took hours to warm. Welcome pack - who doesn’t love a cuppa after a long journey? Unfortunately, there was no milk/biscuits provided for guests on arrival - not massive hut would have made the stay more homely,

The property provides very convenient, easy and safe access to buses and the city centre. The beds are comfortable and the apartment is quiet. While the entrance to the apartment building is old, the apartment itself is very clean. We had difficulties in finding and using the lockbox.Communication with the host was excellent prior to our arrival, but slower after arrival.The host provided a manual with helpful instructions for most of the household appliances, and other useful advice. It would be helpful if the manual also included details on how to turn on the UK heating and hot water systems, as North Americans are often unfamiliar with them.

Unser Aufenthalt in der Wohnung hat uns gut gefallen. Die Kommunikation mit Gillian war sehr gut und der Check in problemlos. Die geräumige, gut ausgestattete Wohnung liegt sehr gut und hat einen guten Anschluss an Busse und die U-Bahn in Glasgow und zu Fuß ist der Kelvingrove Park nicht weit.
