Casita Dori og Los Limones er to maleriske conjoint cottages, lejet sammen, med alle moderne faciliteter - to til prisen for en! Ejendommen har den ideelle beliggenhed: kun en kort, 400 m gåtur fra kanten af byen Orgiva langs en tarmacked vej, men med landlige stemning. Omgivet af sin store anlagte have og omgivet af frugtplantager, der ikke overses af nogen naboer, med sin sikre parkering inde i den murede ejendom, kan Casita Dori prale af fred og privatliv.

Casita Dori giver perfekt ferieboliger til en familie med ældre børn eller måske en gruppe venner. De to hytter lejes altid sammen med den eksklusive brug af poolen for dig og din fest, og selvom du kun ønsker at bruge en af hytterne, forbliver den anden hytte tom under dit ophold.

Over the top

We absolutely love this location and we’re bowled over by the tasteful furnishings of the house the beautiful gardens and the pool. Very congenial owners and a cleaning lady who is a clean freak. Combined with the beautiful mountains, this place had all the ingredients we hoped for and we had an amazing vacation. Thank you Anda!

Lovely villa!

Beautiful villa very close to centre of Orgiva with a lovely pool and great views of the mountains. Lovely bbq area with table and chairs. Air con brilliant! It would be difficult to stay with 2 children though as one of the bedrooms is just a room on its own with no bathroom. Our son (13) loved having his own space in his bedroom with bathroom! Lots of books to read! We found the bed very uncomfortable unfortunately, too firm for us. Overall a great stay ☀️☀️

So I bought a new mattress, described as "medium" in terms of softness (which in fact I found preferable, as I have a serious back problem). Well, what can I say...

A disappointing experience

We go to Spain every February and were looking forward to this years trip to Orgiva but it turned out to be a very disappointing experience. Lots of issues including: 1.Bad communication from owner, badly copied and pasted emails with wrong names and holiday details. 2. Property in centre of town , not a rural location, and concerns about property safety. 3. Very steep and narrow driveway to enter property need good driving skills to access. 4. No hot water to one villa ( boiler needed re-lighting) but still only luke warm rest of week. 5 . Battery bleeping in bedroom smoke alarm, lounge one missing despite huge fire risk of many plugs and extension leads plugged into sockets. Manager brought wrong sized batteries to replace. 6. No carbon monoxide alarm despite a wood burner, that smoked so much on the first day we couldn't use, not good in a chilly February. 7.Lack of equipment in kitchen and no cleaning products , much needed as bathroom smelt of cat pee. 8. Swimming pool out of use , despite being advertised , only told a few days before we arrived. 9. No wi/fi . Rude communication from owner accusing us of breaking router , wanting us to deal with repair company and wait in for them. Its a shame as it could be great, cottages are lovely and beautifully decorated and in stunning grounds with a large choice of outside areas, we ate breakfast outside every day.It just felt like it had been shut up for winter and not much care given to re-opening it for guests .

Oh, dear. Thank you for drawing my attention to various bits and bobs, now sorted (pity you did not let me know at the time). However, I confess that many of your comments are puzzling. The house is not “in the centre” of town, or even in town, but on the outskirts of Orgiva, at the end of a quiet country road (see location map). The swimming pool: you will recall that I called you for a chat as soon as you booked for February. I did say that the pool would open on 1 April as always and added that you could cancel your booking if this was a problem but you said you wanted to proceed. I do apologise that the WiFi didn’t work on the first day. I arranged for the technician to come the very next morning. He did and resolved the problem. I had suggested helpfully that if this visit was not convenient, you might wish to talk to the nearby WiFi office (who speak English) directly if you preferred to arrange a different time. It’s a pity you saw it as asking you to have to deal with this matter yourself. Again, a pity you didn’t use our lovely iron wood stove, which works perfectly. You may have not noticed that the smoke was from the candle that someone had placed on top of it, causing it to burn out and emit smoke when the stove was lit. Incidentally, we ask visitors not to use candles in the house, for reasons of safety. The cables: these are provided on demand for the convenience of visitors from countries with different plugs, and are fully protected by 10 A MCBs and 30 mA RCDs, thus safe. As for communications, you sent me 16 emails before your visit, all of which I answered promptly and politely. I can only repeat that I am sorry that your enjoyment of the holiday was marred.

L arrivée a été rapide. La visite de la maison et les détails succincts. Cuisine avec peu d ustensiles pour 4 mais nous avons surtout mangé à l extérieur. Le plus est le calme de cet endroit et la piscine a bonne température.

Sehr zu empfehlen

Wir haben zu viert eine wunderschöne Woche in dem Ferienhaus in Orgiva verbracht. Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr ruhig, alles ist sauber, es fehlt an nichts. Wir können das Ferienhaus jederzeit weiterempfehlen und werden bei Gelegenheit auch selbst gerne nochmals einen Urlaub dort verbringen.

Excellent séjour

Nous avons apprécié le confort de la maison et des annexes, la piscine, le jardin. Effectivement elle n’est pas adaptée pour des très jeunes enfants. Mais parfait pour une famille avec ados ! Nous avons séjourné une semaine , tout était parfait, de la réservation jusqu’au départ ( communication, informations complètes sur la location et les activités, la procédure d’arrivée). Nous avons deux ados qui ont très apprécié leur indépendance dans la 2e maison. Beaucoup de visites à faire ( Grenade, Malage…) proche des plages. Bref un très bon séjour, merci beaucoup et également Carmen pour son accueil. La région est magnifique,

Belles vacances

Très beau jardin, piscine grande vraiment appréciable et coin barbecue très agréable. Petit chemin pour arriver à la maison, difficile de manœuvrer pour se garer si vous avez une grande voiture. Communication avec la propriétaire aisée et très bon accueil de carmen sur place.

Lovely house and location

Excellent location - Orgiva town is just down the road. Pool was fantastic and there's space outside for barbecue etc. There's a covered area by the main door and a great view towards the Sierra Nevada mountains. Plenty of walks from the door too. We had a great 2 weeks here and would happily return.

Fantastic June break

Dori and Los Limones provided just what was needed for a relaxing and comfortable June break for my partner and our adult daughter. Owner Anda couldn't have been easier to deal with and local manager Carmen was super helpful and made our stay stress free. The property itself is even better in reality than the listing's photos suggest - set in well kept flower and fruit filled gardens with multiple terraces and seating areas and a decent sized private swimming pool. Peaceful and private behind its own walls and gates the property is still just a few minute's easy walk from the shops, bars and restaurants of Orgiva and made a great base for both relaxing and exploring further afield including a visit to the magnificent Alhambra in Granada. In short I have no hesitation in recommending this as a great property and one that I would happily rent again.

A lovely spot - great for relaxing or exploring

This property is in a great location, just five minutes' stroll from the centre of Orgiva but utterly tranquil. It was perfect for a family with teenagers (or for two couples) as everyone had their own space. The separate sections might not be so well suited to a family with younger children. The garden is absolutely heavenly, with citrus trees providing wonderful scent and wonderful fruit juice for our breakfast each morning. We loved the pool and the barbecue area and the expansive views. We had a couple of maintenance issues during our week at the property, but these were dealt with quickly and efficiently by Carmen, the property manager, who was unfailingly helpful and friendly. We loved it!

Casa on the edge

Our second stay in Òrgiva in this trip did not disappoint. The villa is clean and tidy with a fantastic view from the covered balcony. The pool and garden areas are in fantastic condition and a welcome relief from the summer sun. The bedroom with air con is comfortable as are the beds.

Magnifique maison

Nous avons adoré notre séjour à Órgiva. La maison est déalement située dans les hauteurs de la petite ville. En pleine campagne avec des vues sur la montagne, mais à 5 minutes à pied des commerces, bars et restaurants. Elle est très bien décorée, confortable, propre et bien équipée. La piscine et les jardins sont magnifiques. Il y a un grand barbecue également. La communication avec la propriétaire et avec la personne qui s'occupe de la maison sur place a été très cordiale et facile. Je vous recommande de faire vos courses dans la petite épicerie devant le centre de santé. Il a plein de fruits et produits locaux, même du pain cuit au feu de bois et la propriétaire et très sympa. Également au marché couvert, produits locaux et bio. Évitez la pizzeria mariquita ou marquilla, la pizza n'est pas bonne, mais bonne ambiance locale.

Una buena opción

Hemos estado muy agusto, el jardín es muy bonito y bien cuidado, comer frente a la sierra es algo espectacular, gozando del buen clima de Órgiva. La casa está a 5 minutos del núcleo urbano y a la vez te sientes en medio de la naturaleza. Los anfitriones han sido muy atentos con nosotras ¡gracias!

Espectaculares vistas y ubicación

La finca está en un lugar precioso, rodeada de montañas y vegetación, con unas vistas hermosas que una no puede dejar de mirar a cada momento. Parcela muy bien cuidada . Disfrutamos mucho de la piscina . El alojamiento cuenta con todo lo necesario y está muy limpio . La casa Limones ideal para familias que vayan con adolescentes . Nuetros hijos de 11 y 8 años no quisieron dormir solos en la casita Limones , así que durmieron en el salón de la casa principal Dori . Dueños muy atentos . A mejorar , pondría cortinas gruesas o persianas en las ventanas para proteger de la luz.

Tranquilidad y descanso en Alpujarras

Casita Dori está ubicada en un lugar privilegiado, a unos pasos de Órgiva pero suficientemente aislado para tener intimidad. Con una bonita decoración interior y exterior, un jardín con bonitos rincones, y una piscina magnífica es un lugar perfecto para descansar y disfrutar del entono y sus increíbles vistas. Para repetir!!

Lovely house in Orgiva

We had a lovely stay at the property. The outside area is beautiful with wonderful views. The town is an easy walk and is full of good restaurants, bars and supermarkets. Being coeliac we were very impressed with even the smallest supermarket stocking a gluten free range. The pool was wonderful and the air conditioning much appreciated in the August heat. Pre check in and arrival were very efficient. We had a lovely week and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Wonderful break in the spectacular hills of the

This is a truly lovely house with beautiful gardens and pool. There is everything you need and the house is beautifully kept and clean. We had a large amount of space for two adults and two grown up children. Anda was incredibly helpful in setting up our visit and providing all the information needed to enjoy the house and surrounding area. Carmen was also very accommodating in booking us in especially given we arrived very late in the evening. I couldn't recommend this house highly enough, thank you for a splendid stay.

Schöne Casita in üppigem Garten mit Pool

Lage: abgelegen mit einen wunderbaren Bergblick von der Terrasse - jedoch nur ein paar Minuten zu Fuß bis zur Stadt - perfekt. Die verträumten Bergdörfer sind auf traumhaften Wegen durch die Bergwelt zu erreichen. Was für eine schöne Landschaft. Auch Granada ist nur eine knappe Autostunde entfernt. Die Casita besteht aus zwei Häusern. Wir haben zu zweit nur das Haupthaus bezogen. Sehr urig und gemütlich eingerichtet. Leider ist die Casita etwas "schmal" ausgestattet in Bezug auf Handtücher, Verbrauchsmaterialien wie Toilettenpapier, Spülmittel, Abwaschlappen, einfache Gewürze, keine Kaffeelöffel etc. Wir haben alles selbst gekauft. Einige Dinge waren kaputt und die Kaffeemaschine war total verdreckt. Insgesamt wirkt das Inventar etwas "abgerockt". Die vielen Hinweise zur Benutzung ließen einen wertigeren Zustand erwarten. Schade. Der Garten ist klein, aber sehr üppig. Wir haben die vielen verschiedenen Obstbäume mit reifem Obst geliebt! Zu jeder Tageszeit findet man zudem ein geeignetes Plätzchen zum Sitzen. Not as Good as we had hoped

The villa itself is positioned at the top of a very steep hill and my hire car had great trouble getting up the hill, so much so we had to exchange it for another model. Parking is a right pain, think electric gates would be big improvement, but it is a very tight space to manouvere your car. We had no hot water for the first 2 days but Carmen was very helpful in trying to resolve this. Couldn`t use the pool because of the weather so bit of a waste of time staying here as this and the garden were the 2 great features of the villa.

One of the charms of this house is that you wake up to a beautiful view, afforded precisely by the said 50-m long incline that leads to the gate. I am sorry you found this aspect inconvenient. And of course we do have a private car park lower down for your use. As for the boiler light that went out, you rang Carmen in the evening and she did pop in to relight it the very next morning. What a shame you were unlucky with the weather - very unusually wet for the time of year.

What a great find.

We have just come back from a wonderful stay at this lovely villa. We closed the gates and were impressed with such great views and privacy. The gardens have lime, lemon and almond trees. Lovely peaceful setting, with the bonus of both villas and a great pool. Picked fresh limes for our gin and tonics. Short walk into town with its lovely tapas bars, restaurants and good supermarkets. We had booked a month long Caribbean cruise for early 2019 but after our stay here my wife has suggested we cancel that and come back to this villa for a month instead. We have decided to do this. Everything you want in a holiday and we have already booked for next year .. Thank you Anda.

Beautiful property in a fantastic place

This is a lovely property on the outskirts of Orgiva. Very quiet and peaceful and just a short walk into town. The gardens are beautiful and full of orange trees and it was so nice just sitting in the sun having a glass of wine relaxing after hard days cycling. The owner was very efficient and provided excellent instructions for us and Carmen the local manager was lovely and very helpful. We will definitely be back again!
