Velkommen til Whitetail Lodge

Nyd en fredelig get-a-vejs med alle de luksus i hjemmet! Denne autentiske bjælkehytte er beliggende på 80 private hektar med rigelige dyreliv, damme, åer og smukke skove. Der er omfattende stier i hele ejendommen til vandreture, langrend, vandretur, snesko, etc. Kabinen har 2 soveværelser, plus en stor hems og en futon på 3 sæson veranda. Soveværelse 1 er i stueetagen og kan prale med en queen size log seng, skab, kommode, 40 "tv og dvd-afspiller. Soveværelse 2 er på lavere niveau og har en fuld størrelse seng, en queen size seng og et skab. Loftet indeholder en fuld størrelse seng, king size airmadras og ekstra plads til en anden luftmadras eller soveposer. Det komplette køkken indeholder opvaskemaskine, mikroovn, køleskab, ovn / komfur, tallerkener, køkkengrej, grillredskaber og stor ø med 4 barstole. Tilbring afslappende aftener på verandaen spille spil på den skræddersyede cribbage bord bord. Den futon i verandaen kan bruges som ekstra soveplads. Den store ildgrube er fantastisk til stegning af marshmallows og slapper af under stjernerne. Vi inkluderer en kulgrill til gæstebrug. Nyd skålenetværk og en samling af dvd'er på 65 "tv i hovedstuen. Den lavere niveau familie værelse har også en 42 "tv og dvd-afspiller (ingen parabol netværk). Der er en vaskemaskine og tørretumbler i kælderen. Kabinen er ikke-ryger. Gæsterne bliver bedt om at tage deres skrald med dem ved udtjekning og medbring eget brænde og campingstole. Offentlig adgang til Taylor Lake er 1. 5 fra kabinen og er fantastisk til fiskeri. Clam Lakes og Crooked Lake strand er også i nærheden. Gandy Dancer Southern Section ATV / sne-mobilsti er 17 km væk. Andre lokale attraktioner inkluderer minigolf, Timbers filmteater, kunstgallerier, St. Croix Hertel Casino (4. 6 miles fra kabinen) og mange butikker og restauranter. Beautiful cabin

The cabin and host was amazing! Took our girl scout troop here for a long weekend. Our girls just loved the place! We had a hard time getting them to leave the place to explore the area! It was so peaceful and relaxing.

Amazing Vacation!!!

My husband and I stayed at this location with my bestie and her husband, my siblings, and a family friend. We all had the best time. It was so private and peaceful that it was absolutely perfect and just what we were looking for. We can't wait to go back!!!

Best Stay Yet!

This has been the best place we've stayed at yet and will be back next year for sure. Had an issue that was taken care of same day and the location of this property is superb. Walking trails through the woods on the property and seclusion. I thank Amber and her family for sharing with us. 5 star stay for sure!!!

Cabin stay

Absolutely beautiful cabin. Amber was easy to get in touch with and was very helpful when i had a schedule mix up at work so my family needed to check in before me. Unfortunately we didnt get much opportunity to use the outdoor facilities due to rain and other events we had going on and didn't see a hot tub but overall we had a great stay. Definitely recommended.

Amazing!

Perfect weekend filled with such fun times. Cabin was beautiful & in great condition. Clean and neat, well stocked with supplies one might need. Great TV for movies and awesome sound system for music. The trampoline was well enjoyed, and the walking trails were nice too. Overall one of my favorite weekends, would definitely recommend!!

Loved it!

My husband and I and our two Border Collies stayed for a remote long weekend getaway, and this cabin was just what we were looking for! There are miles of trails with the woods all to ourselves, so peaceful and quiet, and a really nice, big cabin to enjoy after a long hike and bonfire. Thank you for sharing your amazing property and for allowing our dog's to enjoy it with us. I can't wait to check it out in the summer!

Nice Place

The cabin in the woods really allowed us to get away from it all. It was nice to have air conditioning on the main floor when it was warm, the big TV and theatre seating in the living room was pretty awesome, and we liked the open floor plan and comfortable beds. We wished there had been a few more things in the kitchen (a functional can opener, more serving spoons, wine glasses, and serving bowls), but we managed.

Cozy, comfortable, quiet cabin in an idyllic setting.

My sister and I are from the area and decided to rent a place near our family home. The lodge was perfect! Cozy, adorable and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy the holiday in the Northwoods. The Christmas tree was a festive and welcomed touch! Amber was responsive and answered all of my questions right away. The cabin was roomier than the pictures show and was more than enough space for us. There were games and movies that completed the cozy atmosphere. Thank you for a great stay!

Nice area, unfortunately there was black mold in the bathroom, the basement needed a dehumidifier cause moisture was so high. Also, it has a bad mouse problem.

Paddle Trip

About 6-8 of us get together once a year and paddle various rivers in Wisconsin. This year we paddled the Namekagon and St. Croix Rivers. The cabin worked fine and was centrally located to access the four ten mile trips we did. We also stopped by the Grantsburg Brewery, Crex Meadows Visitor Center and the Burnett Dairy in Alpha. We were also confronted by a belligerent grouse in the driveway, but we deescalated the situation.

Secluded cabin

The cabin was nicely isolated but given the wet weather they've had all Spring/into summer we were unable to enjoy the outdoors. We like to do yard games and have bon fires but this was not possible due to the bugs. Other issues we incountered were brought to the owners attention which she assured me will be addressed for future renters.

Mildew! Mildew! Mildew!

The mildew smell was so strong it was unbearable. If you sleep in the bedroom downstairs it will make you sick. Careful where you put your chair on the deck because it will fall through the rotted wood. Bring extra food to share with the mice. They are all over the kitchen. Poorly maintained. Host was great to work with and the fire pit was nice. The space was great it was so unfortunate the smell was so bad.

Disappointing

This cabin is the worse experience I’ve had in a rental. The tub was grimy like it hadn’t been cleaned . Stains on the bedding like it hadn’t been washed.There were ants everywhere in the house. We worried about leaving anything out on the counters in the kitchen or even the bathroom as there were ants everywhere. Even sitting on the sofa in the living room ants would crawl on you. On top of that there were no instructions left for garbage or recycling. I emailed the owner Amber and she replied asking if we could take the garbage with us. For the amount of money spent renting this property you would think you wouldn’t have to worry about garbage but that wasn’t the case. Traveling and being on vacation you don’t have room for numerous garbage bags in your vehicle.We literally had to take the garbage and recycling to a gas station and get rid of it. We also weren’t able to use the trampoline on the property as it was not cleaned off before our arrival. Not a good experience this time around and will not be staying at this property again.

Disappointed

Overall, we were not happy with our stay. The strong smell of mothballs permeated the house and bedding which gave my husband a headache. The carpet in the bedroom on the main floor was filthy, the blankets and sheets had holes in them, and the bathroom did not have a window curtain. The amount of money that we paid for the cabin was far higher than the quality of the furnishings in the cabin. We did need to reach out to Amber about the TV. There were 5 remotes, but no instructions on how to use them.

Cabin in the woods

We had a great stay at this cabin in the woods. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the fire pit and enjoyed the ATV trails around the area. The owner was great at getting back quickly with any questions I had. We’d definitely come back. Leane F.

Cute Cabin in the woods.

This quaint cabin is exactly what you see in the pics. We had some young boys that enjoyed venturing out into the woods. Unfortunately the weather was not the best so we didn't get to experience any of the trails. I could see this being perfect in the warmer months. The owners were quick to respond anytime we reached out with questions. They have everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Every room has a t.v. and nice furniture. We were lucky that this family was willing to share their space with us. A few minor things that can easily be remedied... 1. We had to wash almost all of the dishes by hand prior to using them as they were not clean. 2. We had a 1 year old and didn't really think about baby proofing (so this is probably more on us then the owners). The stairs and outlets were the biggest stressors. 3. This is a pet friendly cabin, but all of the blankets and bedding had dog hair all over them. 4. Lastly, we did not arrive until night time in the middle of winter. It was completely dark (a motion light out front would have been nice) and the house was freezing. We were informed of the heat when we received the keys but it took forever to warm up. We sat in our jackets all night the first night. Don't let those minor things deter you (just prepare you), this private cabin in the woods is a great getaway!

Awesome property for a fall family trip

We had a fantastic long weekend stay at this property! The cabin was clean and comfortable, plenty large for our family and the owners were very responsive when we had questions. Our kids enjoyed the trampoline and we all enjoyed the 3 season porch, fire pit, long walks on the property and ability to bring the family dog too. The inviting porch and open floor plan were perfect for visiting and relaxing and we loved being tucked away but still close to town when we needed to run in for supplies. Loved this cabin and would definitely stay again!

Great log cabin!

Very cozy cabin with awesome enclosed and front porches. The porch swings are so fun. The bonfire pit was amazing and we cooked one meal using the bonfire grate grill. What you see in the pictures is what you get. The walking trails out back go almost a mile out before needing to turn around. Pretty woodsy trail. It was sunny and hot during our stay and only wished the window AC unit in the dining room worked stronger or that there were an additional window AC unit elsewhere within the cabin. The owner put in a railing to the upstairs after my cousins and I mentioned a concern about it soon after we made our reservations. If you’re looking for a nice quiet getaway with lots of wildlife sounds surrounding you, then this is the place for you. Myself and six other family members comfortably enjoyed ourselves here.
