The towns offer a selection of independent retailers, cafés, traditional inns and restaurants. Further afield the town of Bowes (with its stately home), High Force and Barnard Castle are in easy reach.

A multitude of villages dot this picturesque corner of the Eden Valley, and easy access to routes for walkers and cyclists make the area ideal for lovers of the great outdoors. You enjoy a secluded location between the Yorkshire Dales, North Pennines and the Lake District. Situated in the east of the county in a rural location, the property is ideally placed for exploring the highlights of the north of England.
