Stunning villa with beautiful pool. Great air con in all rooms. Hosts were fabulous and couldn’t do enough to ensure our stay was good. Loved it. Would highly recommend having a car as it is up in the hills.

Our family of four had 9 great nights in Afrati villa. Aliki, the host who lives close by , is phenomenally helpful and available on whatsapp for any questions, but never over bearing. We used Taxis to get into Tsivili (Euro 20 each way) and our preferred evening spot Zakynthos Town (Euro 15 each way). While the villa is in a lovely quiet spot with a cafe, restaurant and mini mart in about 15 mins walking distance getting a taxi or hiring a car is really a must if you are here for more than a few days. The property could do with having a proper stand up shower rather than just a shower head but otherwise was very well appointed and extremely clean. The pool and air con were fantastic for surviving hard days sunbathing in the Greek sunshine!

We met the owner just 2 mins down the road and followed her back, great idea as you wouldn't have found it without her.Large property, beds really comfy, short on cups only four. Could have done with a couple more.fully air conditioned. Pool was lovely.lots of seating to be had outside.now for the confusion. The pictures are of the villa next door, (i think)very similar so no worries, but there is no sunshade bed outside . Regret there is alot of dog noise of an evening, im assuming a stray starts barking somewhere then the dogs next door bark, it does go quiet, but for me it was a nuisance, i am a light sleeper. All communication with the owner was great. And she is lovely, nothing is too much and she responds very quickly. We had a lovely week, we would recommend it.

We loved the area and the home. It was beautiful and on a higher elevation with great views! Close to many attractions & host is a great help!

Perfect Location

The stay was perfect! Aliki was very accommodating, and the home was just as advertised. I wish we could've stayed longer.

Lovely comfortable villa for a family holiday

Great villa in a lovely location, close to town but rural feel and sea views. Air con and shutters in bedrooms were perfect. All very clean and comfortable - lots of outdoor space too. Had a great 10 day holiday here.

Authentic Greece

Beautiful little house!! The property manager welcomed us and told us about good places to visit and neighborhood hotspots and our stay was wonderul! It was so nice to have a place to relax and enjoy the pool after seeing the sights.

Aliki (the neighbor who looks after the guests) is very friendly, funny and helpful! our stay was very nice and we would love to come back

Exelent!

We had an amazing time at Afrati villa. The hosts are very friendly and helpfull.They picked us up from a hotel close by because it’s hard to find for the first time.The house is clean and equiped with clean bedding and towels (also beach towels). The beds are very comfortable. The swimmingpool and terrace outside are amazing!We had a lovely time at Afrati villa and would love to come back again!

We recently stayed at Afrati Villa, and it was absolutely one of the best holidays we've ever had. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome by the owners, who were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always on hand if we needed anything. Their hospitality really made our stay extra special. The villa itself is stunning. It is spacious, beautifully maintained, and spotlessly clean throughout. The air conditioning in every room was excellent and made a huge difference. The outdoor area is simply amazing and was where we spent most of our time. The pool was crystal clear, impeccably maintained, and perfect for relaxing and cooling off. There were plenty of comfortable sunbeds, and the pool cabana was a wonderful addition, providing a lovely shaded area to unwind with a drink or a good book. One of the unexpected highlights of our stay was meeting Cookie, the villa's lovely, friendly cat, along with her adorable three-legged friend, who we affectionately named Tripod. They quickly became part of our holiday and brought a smile to our faces every day! The location is ideal, offering the perfect balance of peace and convenience. It's only a short drive to Zakynthos Town, while also being close to local tavernas, shops, and some of the island's most popular resorts. It made exploring the island incredibly easy while still enjoying a quiet and relaxing base. We honestly couldn't fault Afrati Villa.

Tom and Family

The property was perfect, it was clean, fully air conditioned and is the perfect size. The swimming pool is a great feature. The position is great near the main town but far enough away that it’s very peaceful. I would highly recommend it to others and would definitely go back myself.

Wonderful Villa

We LOVED our stay in this Villa. The stone walls and location high up on the hill offered cool breezes. VERY CLEAN, great view. We loved the pool. Very close to Tsilivi, Plano beach and downtown Zante. It was close enough to walk to downtown if you are a walker or runner yet felt nice and secluded because of the location. Highly recommend!

Beautiful villa

We enjoyed the location, space, and view of this villa! The only real complaint is lack of AC on the main floor. Gets very hot! But it has good AC in the lower level.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This the second time we have stayed in these villas. This stay was better than the last. The villas are up high so have a wonderful breeze if you open the French doors but an air conditioner was added in the main living room since our last stay a few years ago. A lovely cabana was also added by the pool. It’s the perfect spot to take an afternoon nap in the shade. Aliki is a very responsive host. We love the location because it’s in a quiet neighborhood that is within walking distance of a small market, a cafe and downtown is a 10 minute walk. Fantastic views. The pool is very clean and nice after a hot day. We can’t wait to return and stay here again.

Perfect holiday

Beautiful villa in a quiet location with sea view. We loved it! Nice patio area and pool with a great day bed for relaxing in. The villa was spacious, clean and well equipped with everything we needed. I’d recommend a car as it’s a bit too far to walk into town although there is a nice bar/restaurant in walking distance. We used this as a base to explore the whole island. The only thing I would say could be improved is the bathroom could do with updating, but it was fine for us. I would recommend this villa for couples or families. There is plenty of room.

Mixed experience

Things we liked: Good location very close to Zante town with a mini mart and taverna even closer. The pool and back patio is lovely, the house was clean, and the AC works well in the bedrooms. Things we didn't like: The internet is very poor - it only works in the far corner of the back yard. There is no shower - only a hand shower - and no shower door so the water splashes all over the bathroom. The washing machine didn't work and the house wasn't well stocked for a 4-day visit (only 1 dish towel, no soap in shower). The check-in process was strange - we called the caretaker when we arrived late from Athens and she met us in front of a local hotel and we followed her by car to the house. We would've preferred that they sent us driving directions in advance.

een super locatie voor een bijzonder mooi verblijf

Het overtrof de verwachtingen, veel gereisd veel gezien maar dit was qua locatie een top locatie. En de uitleg ontvangst was heel erg goed geregeld niets maar dan ook niets was te veel. maar we hoeften weinig te vragen want alles was compleet. Bedankt voor de gastvrijheid, bedankt dat we van jullie huis gebruik mochten maken. Bedankt dat we konden genieten van de zon gastvrijheid en jullie mooie locatie en land.

La casa e’ bella , nulla da dire ma andrebbe accessoriata in modo da nn far mancare nulla agli ospiti . Zanzariere rotte e quindi nn usufruibili in tutta la casa , buia in alcune parti dell’esterno lampadine rotte , posate piatti bicchieri e tutto ciò che serve in cucina scarso nelle quantità e nella quantità e sporco

Very beautiful place to stay in Zakynthos

Sehr angenehme Gastgeber, welche einem jeden Wunsch erfüllen wenn man Wünsche hat. Das Haus ist wunderschön und abseits der touristischen Städte, jedoch nahe genug um einen kurzen Bastecher dorthin zu machen. Alles ist sauber und man bekommt wenn man will frische Handtücher oder sonstiges. Die Gastgeber sind über freundlich und sympathisch und geben auch Tips für tolle Strände und Fährverbindungen. Alles in allem eine super Unterkunft um Urlaub zu machen.Vielen Dank für die angnehme Zeit.

Είμαι πολύ χαρούμενη που είχα την ευκαιρία να γνωρίσω τον jan και την οικογένειά του. Πολύ ευγενικοί και ευχαριστοι άνθρωποι, που τους ενδιέφερε να εξερευνήσουν και να γνωρίσουν το νησί 👍⛵️. Wunderbar

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in der Villa. Aliki, die dort für alles zuständig ist, ist ein sehr liebenswerter und warmherziger Mensch. Sie wohnt nebenan, ist immer zur Stelle, wenn man etwas braucht, ist aber ansonsten unaufdringlich. Sie hat 11 Hunde (sind nur auf ihrem Grundstück) und Katzen, da sie mit einem Tierschutzverein zusammen arbeitet. Die Hunde sind aber sehr gut erzogen und bellen nur, wenn man kommt oder wegfährt. Ansonsten sind sie ruhig. Die Katzen bekommt man nicht zu sehen. Nur Kula, eine Katze mit drei Beinen, hat ab und zu oben vor der Haustür auf unserem Parkplatz gechillt. Sie ist aber ziemlich scheu. Das Haus war sehr sauber und hatte wirklich alles was man braucht. Es gibt allerdings nur eine Klimaanlage in den beiden Schlafzimmern, die aber angenehm leise sind. Im Wohnzimmer war es bei der Hitze schon sehr warm (gibt einen Standventilator), aber auf den beiden Balkonen lässt es sich sehr gut aushalten, da dort meistens ein angenehmer Wind weht. Außerdem ist die Aussicht sehr schön. Auch im Wohnzimmer ist es tagsüber erträglich, aber nachts wäre es wahrscheinlich zum Schlafen zu warm gewesen. Nun war es während der 2 Wochen auch extrem heiß! Der Pool ist groß genug und sehr sauber und auch ohne Schirm gibt es immer Schatten - und Sonnenplätze. Man kann morgens direkt in den Pool springen, um wach zu werden! Das Einzige , was uns ein wenig gestört hat, war dass das WLAN nicht in den Schlafzimmern funktioniert hat. Am Pool, auf den Balkonen und oben im Wohnzimmer ging es aber. Auf der ganzen Insel ist der Internet - Empfang sehr unterschiedlich und oft schlecht, aber fast jedes Lokal oder Geschäft hat Internet (WiFi - weifei gesprochen) und auf Nachfrage bekommt man das Passwort. Bettwäsche und Handtücher werden gestellt und je nach Bedarf auf Nachfrage erneuert. Die Pool - Handtücher darf man auch mit zum Strand nehmen. Die Schränke bieten ausreichend Platz. Es gibt ein Bad mit Dusche und Wanne unten bei den Schlafzimmern und eine Toilette extra, oben im Wohnzimmer. Wir waren zu viert und konnten uns gut arrangieren - brauchen aber alle nicht allzu lange beim Duschen :-) Im Bad ist das Licht etwas dunkel, aber in den Schlafzimmern sind Spiegel und ausreichend Licht. Den Fernseher haben wir nicht genutzt, daher kann ich dazu nichts sagen. Allgemein haben wir uns sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Villa absolut weiterempfehlen!
