Mountain views were ok. The refrigerator at the cabin did not work, it was frozen over by the freezer. There were quite a few light bulbs burnt out. The shades were in poor condition. Hot tub did not get as hot as it should have. Jacuzzi same as hot tub. I don’t know, we did a good job of making the best of what we had while there. Had I felt any of it was a HUGE issue, I would have reached out. But if we return to Tennessee again, we would not book with Aunt Bugs.

A nice getaway

Me and my now finace stayed at the secluded cabin and loved every minute of it. The cabin was nice and clean. Hot tub felt amazing. Pool table was fun. It was an amazing trip and we will definitely be coming back.

Thanksgiving Get•Away

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay! We did get in late due to traffic, the check in process (I did in person) was super simple, staff was very friendly. The drive was about 25 mins from the check in location I was a little concerned because it was dark but it wasn’t bad going to the cabin. The GPS will not take you directly to it but I was provided with instructions so finding it was no issue. It was very secluded which we enjoyed. We did loose power and internet but it was resolved in a timely manner, also had an issue with the burner which was also resolved in a timely manner. Everyone was super friendly with great communication and check out was SO simple! We will definitely stay here again!

Perfect Quiet Getaway

We absolutely adored this location for our quiet getaway! Close enough to everything, though anything is a drive with this being up a mountain (gorgeous views!!). Was overall very pleased with the service and accommodations. Opted for online check in, which was crazy easy and convenient. The hot tub and grill worked great, and we enjoyed the cabin so much that we almost stayed in every day we were there 😂 Unfortunately we opted out of using the heart tub due to perceived cleanliness after attempting to fill it with warm water. I assumed being in the mountains made the tub filling a bit difficult as well. The service team has been wonderful requesting and responding to any questions and now feedback after our stay. Thank you for a truly lovely location. My disappointment at the tub is the only reason I couldn’t give this review full stars.

Privacy indeed, but be prepared for driving uphill switchbacks. Glad it wasn’t snowing or raining. Otherwise, nice cabin.

Beware

Our stay was over Thanksgiving weekend. Didn’t get check in instructions until about an hour before checking in. Our microwave didn’t work and the stove only had 1 burner that would work, so our meal on Thanksgiving wasn’t possible. I called management and no response until next day. They claimed no one received my call, which I spoke with someone same day. Baseboards where filthy, no instructions on TV no support on bed , which was horrible. Don’t go to this rental in the dark because the road getting there is something else.Our stay was 3 days and there isn’t enough towels or wash clothes for only a day. Be prepared to bring along plenty of extra things as well, not stocked very well at all. It’s a shame this could be a nice place if they paid attention to detail. I would never recommend this one.

The property was nice. Space used well. Nice deck private with hottub. However the cover was covered in ants (inside the cover) . On removing the top we had to clean several cups of ants out. The internet does not work , I guess it is due to the fires that took place. No cell phone service at all. As I said it was a nice cabin overall. The fire was not noted in any communication with the company or owners. Checking in was not as easy as stated on the information. So it took 15-20 mins for the guy to find us with Aunt Bugs.

Okay

The cabin was nice but toilets, and appliances could use upgrading and the grounds could have been manicured better than they were. TV in the bedroom did not have a media connection and a light upstairs did not work. We were not allowed to check in until 2 1/2 hours after the scheduled time and when we called property management, we were not asked if we would like a later checkout as compensation to the late check-in. Still, the area was beautiful and those minor things will not keep us from renting from Aunt Bug's again.

Reviewer Comments: This cabin was perfect for my little family of 3 my daughter loved it as well and we felt safe since it was a gated community we had access to the pool and the cabin was clean and cozy. We were so close to everything that when they offered the cabin one more day we didn’t hesitate! The only thing was that we didn’t have access to WiFi but maybe that was a good thing since we clearly spent more time enjoying each other’s company rather than on the phone. I would recommend this cabin to anyone who’s looking forward to relaxing and enjoying the great outdoors.

Our stay here at #114 all tucked away

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Let’s start with: A+ on the privacy! Upon arrival, front porch had cobwebs, grass needed cut, open the front door it was cool the ac was on for us, thanks. There were no condiments, coffee pot(big one) didn’t work, and the water was so full of chemicals or sulfur, it was terrible. Hot tub was cold due to they drained it and cleaned it so after they refilled it it took some time for it to get hot(next morning :(). Jacuzzi tub would not get hot enough for a full so we didn’t use it at all! Very unfortunate for us! Master log bed is not structurally stable, the bed feel on us the 2nd night in which i had to make shift fix. The grill didn’t work but they did replace it in a couple of hours. The pool table upstairs needs to be replaced, the bumpers are wore out so we played a couple games and forgot about it after that. Outside deck needed to be cleaned because there’s a lot of cobwebs. Windows were dirty. Needless to say the water in this cabin is full of sulfur and the maid service needs lots more training on how to clean! Needs a bigger hot water heater so someone can enjoy the heart shaped tube in which we couldn’t. Only positive thing in this cabin is the back deck privacy, the new grill and patio set .

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin we stayed in was very hard to get to. It definitely puts a strain on your vehicle how high up it is in the mountains. Even though it wasn’t far out from town, it was very high up in the mountains away from other cabins. There was no cellphone service (AT&T) at our cabin because we were so far out and up away from everything. That was something we were not happy about. The cabin cleanliness wasn’t the best. Dirt and debris on the floor, very dusty as well. The mirror in the bathroom is so low you can’t get ready in it. It must be for short people. The bed has no head board and your pillows consistently fall on the floor.

Reviewer Comments: All tucked away was a good little cabin there were some things that need to be addressed the hot tub has a funny smell I think it's the thing that sits on top of it it needs to be replaced the heart hot tub takes too long to fill and the bathroom door trapped my girlfriend in the bathroom which I thought was funny because the door swells this can be corrected. Overall it was a nice little cabin and had a good stay I'll give it a three and a half stars out of five if they fix those problems I would have gave it a 5 out of 5. But it was a wonderful stay in the people in office were very nice thank you again for the stay.

Reviewer Comments: The first cabin at the shamrock was okay I guess defiently not worth how much I paid. Wi-Fi didn't work, there was dishes still in the dishwasher from the last person which smelled terrible. The bed in the master was tiny as well as the tv so we couldn't even enjoy either. That bed was also hard so we went and stayed in the other room but then once we got to that bedroom the fan squeaked terribly so I WAS annoyed the whole night. The bath tub had rings from soap or something from the last people which made me skeptical of even wanting to get a bath. Then the gate broke when we were trying to come back to the cabin. We had to wait for someone to leave in order for us to come in. Then when we stayed at the other cabin same thing with the bathtub it had a ring around it where the last person had taken their bath and there was food crumbs on the living room floor. I paid almost a 1000 for supposedly the best cabins and could have paid half of that anywhere else for way better.

Reviewer Comments: Extremely happy with our stay, it was perfect enjoyed the fireplace, jacuzzi, pool table and the deck stuck into the woods out back but the most fun was getting a fire started in the fireplace the first night without matches or lighter, interesting 😉🤷🏻‍♂️😲👍. Also felt very secure and private since it was a gated community with no close neighbors 👍
