Great location being very central, and large lounge area with good a/c. Bedrooms have limited headroom and the steep stairs may not suite everyone.

Pure magic. The most perfect spot. We traveled here with our three children. My husband told me we had to visit the farmers market. We had no idea we were on top of it. Perfection. We can’t wait to come back.

Good on the whole. But:Too many dangerous steps to access flat and also dangerous steps within flat for children and elderly people. Coomed ceilings upstairs was also an issue for tall people.

The location is in the heart of the Provençal Marche. Lots of bars and restaurants with a great atmosphere. It’s a quirky property, the stairs are very steep but amenities are good. Only one key is a bit of a pain if you return at different times. The microwave and oven are perched at the top of the stairs, could be a problem for some. Great AC, individual controls in each room. Bathroom ok and plenty of hot water. Kitchen diner is spacious and a comfortable sofa bed. The location is perfect

Great apartment, great location .

Great place to stay. Not an issue for us, but be aware there are some steep, spiral stairs to the apartment. No big issue though.

The flat is very comfortable and nicely set out and equipped, and the location is good for seeing the old town, galleries, markets etc. The downsides for me (I am fit but nearly-80) were 1. The stairs. I knew the flat was on the third floor (4th American), but did not know until arrival that the access was via one continuous spiral staircase (57 steps), with the flat door directly on the staircase. Luckily, I was with my 21 year old granddaughter and we only had cabin bags, but it was still an exhausting climb. The last 11 or so steps are after the flat door2. The basement bar and music. I chose the flat because it overlooks the Marche Provencale - reasoning the market would be closed at night and there was no road traffic. But the bar is very busy and the crowd spills outside joining in the singing until 1am. When we returned in the evening, we had to push our way through the crowd to access the stairs which start immediately inside the door (to both staircase and down to bar)3. The bathroom is on the same floor as the kitchen and lounge, with bedrooms above, so not ideal when you are older and need to visit a few times in the night4. The oven and microwave are directly on the staircase as you arrive in the flat, so if you want to remove something with both hands from either, you have the staircase falling away to your right and behind5. There is only one key - when my grandddaughter wanted to go out, I had to go too or be locked inside unable to get out or vv

Super centrally located with easy access to everything. Cute apartment, sweet view. Excellent host communication. A bit of a funky smell, hard pillows, very steep stairs. It worked for us and was a decent price for the location.

Charming French Stay in the Heart of Antibes

We had a wonderful stay at this charming and well-appointed Vrbo in the heart of Antibes. The apartment had a classic French feel, with tasteful decor and everything we needed. It comfortably accommodated us with two bedrooms and a futon, and the pretty view was a lovely bonus. Everything was spotless, and the location couldn’t have been better—right in the middle of Antibes, close to shops, restaurants, and the waterfront. The stairs are a bit steep, but the cozy bar in the basement level added a unique and fun touch to our stay. Communication with the property manager was excellent.

Apartment was great. It was clean with plenty of room for our family of 5. Kitchen had everything you need and the a/c & washer/dryer were a big plus. Located in the heart of Antibes, close to everything. Host was excellent and provided very clear instructions and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. The other reviews about the steep stairs are correct, which wasn’t an issue for us but could be if someone isn’t able to get around very well. We had a car and there isn’t any onsite parking, but we found a garage nearby. It was a great experience!

Nice apartment in a great location

We are a family of 4, 2 kids (11 and 14 years old). This apartment is in central Antibes with a great atmosphere. Great location for all amenities. Having AC in main living area and bedrooms was great. Minor points are the 3 flights of stairs and spiral staircase, might not be suitable for all. The apartment is above a bar (not directly) which does get quite lively.

The pros: The apartment is very cute, clean and centrally located. The beach is just down the street and the incredible market is right below you. Cons: The incredible market is right below you, which is noisy with live music at night if you have children going to sleep. Additionally, there is no parking on site or close by. Parking at the nearest parkade was very expensive (we paid 80 for less than 48 hours) and was a bit of a walk (about 10 minutes). Hauling our luggage and groceries from the parkade, through the crowded streets and up 3 flights of stairs was quite challenging in the summer heat. We arrived about 3 hours before check in, and weren’t able to drop even the groceries off early for reasons that were never explained, so had to throw most of them out after they sat on the hot parkade all afternoon.

A fantastic apartment, very central. Easy to walk everywhere! I was worried about how to get there but surprisingly fine too. Taxi dropped us at 13 sade (bottom on the street/plaza), place was 1 Sade (a 2 minute walk up a cute street). It’s located on the 3rd floor but the character and how you get to it makes the place so special. It’s bright with lots of balcony and great views (sunset too). The only down was bathroom in main floor not in bedroom levels as the bedroom are basically in the “roof”. A cool place full of characters especially the awesome absinthe bar at bottom (zero noise at night. All so convenient! Just call the guy and he will give you code to get keys at the door to go up. We LOVED it!!

L'appartement est tres bien placé et tres fonctionnel. Il est egalement tres lumineux, ce qui est tres appreciable.Le gérant est vraiment tres gentil et accessible.Au niveau propreté c'etait parfait.Le seul defaut pour nous a ete le bruit fait par le bar en cave de l'immeuble qui mettait la musique chaque soir au-dela de minuit. Mais avec des boules quies on n'entend plus rien!

Odeur

Le séjour s'est bien passé, les équipements fournis étaient fonctionnels. Cependant, lors de notre séjour il y avait une mauvaise odeur dans l'appartement qui était toujours présente. De plus, le nombre de serviettes fournies corresponde exactement au nombre d'occupants, donc pour un long séjour il est nécessaire de laver celles-ci fréquemment.

Great Location at the marketplace

- Nice Place at the Heart of the city - therefore, please be aware that the parking is some minutes away and even dropping of your bags of family can be in issue die to restrictions of the market - it is a perfect spot to discover all the nice bars and Restaurants, therefore 5 stars and clear recommendation

Stay at Sade

We had a lovely stay at Sade. My wife, our 4 year old boy and I. There are actually 2 separate bedrooms, which is great, as most of the other listings are extremely misleading about this. There is also a sofa bed in the living space so you really could have 6 people stay quite comfortably. The living space on the bottom floor of the maisonette is very spacious and airy. It is directly above the Marche Provencal so if you open the windows then you can hear all the hustle and bustle. The windows are very good and insulating, by the way. A slight caution is that the property is on the 3rd floor up steep steeps, so not really suitable for elderly. There were just a couple of tiny constructive criticisms, which I'm sure could easily be amended - in my humble opinion it could really do with feather pillows, the fridge is pretty loud so if anyone sleeps in the living room it may be a problem. All appliances and linen etc are as listed, which is great. We would love to stay again and will be telling friends.
