We managed to get this apartment at the last minute and it was amazing in every detail Jane and Liam are fabulous hosts and were very friendly and helpful the location was perfect and the views were amazing the the apartment was spotless we would love to stay again sometime thank you

We had a fabulous few nights in this lovely apartment in Instow. The pictures don’t do it justice..the apartment was larger than expected, perfectly clean and very comfortable.

What a wonderful find! Such a beautiful place, so nicely furnished - with amazing beds and linen!! a beautiful location …. Handy for the beach and Tarka trail. Very welcoming hosts - couldn’t make us feel more welcome. Cannot fault this beautiful apartment - will return!

Hosts were wonderful and very welcoming. Apartment very clean, nicely furnished, with fantastic view over the river and estuary. Location worked well for us. Short walk down to cafes and the beach. Would highly recommend and would return if in the area and needs somewhere to stay.

My partner and our two boys stayed three nights, the apartment has everything you need, is super clean and tidy, spacious, and the view outstanding over the estuary. Our hosts Jane and Liam are the perfect hosts, down to earth and welcoming. Had a lovely relaxing time, we chose well.PaulHuddersfield.

Perfect. Everything is spot on. The communication was very clear and prompt, the property was very clean and equipped to a high standard. An excellent location with superb views from the apartment and just a short walk through their garden to the Quay and then to the sandy beach. Instow has a lovely deli, pubs and restaurants. It is a good location to explore Devon. The hosts are lovely, friendly and non-intrusive and happy to help. An absolute gem.

Amazing place to stay

The apartment is very well presented, comfortable and clean. It had everything we needed and alot more with a lovely view of the estuary. The owners are lovely people.

Gem of a Place!

Moorings View was a fantastic find. The property had everything one could wish for plus amazing views. The location was perfect for the beach and local eateries and the parking space was a much appreciated bonus.

Moorings view apartment

This is one of our favourite places we've stayed. The apartment has amazing views, its spacious and very nicely decorated. Instow is very nice and it's in the perfect location to explore North Devon.

Relaxing break

What a lovely few days we have had at Moorings View. Really clean apartment, super comfy bed, fab shower and great views. Thank you to Jane and Liam, our friendly hosts along with Bella and Missy.

A fabulous week

We had such a lovely time, and simply love this part of the world. Our hosts were very helpful throughout. The location is perfect, with a lovely walk down to the main instow road with plenty of pubs and places to eat. The morning and evening views are simply stunning. Highly recommend.

Lovely winter weekend

Apartment is well equipped with amazing views over the estuary. Lovely comfy bed with top quality linen. Very helpful hosts. Instow is a beautiful place and a choice of 4 places to eat within walking distance. Highly recommended

Lovely Apartment

Moorings View exceeded our expectations. It was spotlessly clean, exceptionally well equipped and with fantastic views from all rooms. It was ideally situated in Instow which itself is perfectly situated to explore this part of Devon. Liam and Jane were friendly and helpful. A great stay and we would love to return.

It was absolutely amazing. Liam and Jane were the perfect hosts. The apartment was spotless and they even left wine, beer and cookies and milk .we will definitely return.

A hidden gem

Beautiful home with amazing view's through every window was just a joy to sit watching the boats coming in & the tide going out. Gorgeous home furnishings very comfortably bed freshly cut flowers from the garden and a nice bottle of wine waiting in the fridge was a added treat.really lovely hosts liam and jane you made us feel very welcome we definitely want to come back soon

Excellent apartment with stunning views

This is the best equipped accommodation we’ve stayed in. All the rooms are beautifully furnished and there are lots of little luxuries provided, which we really appreciated. It is also perfectly located overlooking the estuary and on the Tarka Trail- the views are stunning. Thanks very much to the owners, Liam and Jane, for making us so welcome, as well as their lovely dogs. Thank you.

VERY enjoyable stay.

On our arrival we were greeted and made very welcome by Liam..We were shown around & the apartment was excellent, exactly as described.Well equipped & plenty of free space for our things . Both Liam and Jane were very helpful and friendly.throughout our stay.Lovely views of estuary & yachts plus surrounding countryside. The Tarka Trail is at the bottom of the back garden & other walks nearby.The beach too was a very short walk away. An excellent weeks stay for us.

Cosy apartment with amazing views

We had a lovely 4 night stay at the apartment (2 adults, 2 children). Apartment was lovely and cosy, well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. Instow is a lovely place to visit and the views from the apartment are stunning. Would definitely recommend going to The Boathouse for a meal. There are two sets of stairs up to the apartment, which is part of the owners property (but don't worry you wouldn't know they were there, the apartment is very private) so not for those with mobility issues but fine for us. Our second visit to Instow and we will definitely return to the area and to this lovely apartment :)

Perfect to unwind

The perfect spot to relax and unwind. Stunning views of the estuary, and the most beautiful sunsets. The apartment is immaculate, very well equipped, and comfortable. We walked along the Tarka Trail and round to Appledore via Bideford then took the ferry back to Instow. Ate at a Thai restaurant in Westward Ho, Moran’s, which had a separate vegan menu. Johns of Instow is well stocked for basics and treats. Instow pub was, for us, too frantic and our food was poor. Loved it, we’ll definitely return.

Stunning views!

A wonderful fews had by our family of 4. (Including 2 teenage girls). Spotless apartment, well equipped, very comfy beds with absolutely beautiful views from both bedrooms and large, cosy living/dining room. Sunsets over Appledore are particularly impressive. Jane and Liam really attentive and kindly let us store our bikes so we could explore the Tarka Trail. Cycled to Torrington and back and enjoyed refreshments in Puffing Billy. Short walk from apartment to local pubs serving good local food and drinks along the beach front in Instow. Would highly recommend Moorings View apartment and hope to return one day.

What a view.

The property was spotless and fresh and a wonderful place to relax and come home to. Sunrise and sun set over the Estuary is absolutely beautiful. The owners were really lovely and helpful. Little touches that were left for us was binoculars to watch the yaught club school and other boats on the water, and Westward Ho! opposite. The book shelf was full of a variety of fiction/non fiction, puzzles,games, books and maps about the area. Even a bottle of wine and biscuits. Thank you We absolutely loved our stay and would recommend without question. There is no access for disabled as there are stairs up to the apartment.
