Amazing stay at Swanpool View – Couldn't ask for more!

We had a brilliant weekend stay at Swanpool View in Falmouth. The property is fantastically spacious and had everything we could possibly need. The highlight for our group was definitely the entertainment—the pool table, air hockey, and arcade games kept everyone entertained throughout our stay! The living area features a great, large TV that fits the room perfectly, and the views surrounding the house are absolutely stunning. Sitting outside enjoying morning coffee with those views was bliss. The bedrooms were generous in size with super comfortable beds, ensuring everyone got a great night’s sleep. It’s the perfect base for a weekend away, and we would definitely stay here again!

An Excellent Holiday Venue

We enjoyed our stay at Swanpool View. The house was perfectly furnished and equipped with everything that a family would want in order to have a stress-free stay. There was a large selection of books, booklets and DVDs, as well as a dedicated games area. It was a relief to find that the white goods (e.g. TV, microwave) although of "recent vintage" and towards the upper end of the market - were very easy to operate (we have had the opposite experience elsewhere). We appreciated the items that the owners had left for us - scones, cream and jam, wine, milk. We can thoroughly recommend this property as an excellent holiday choice.

Beautiful location and property

This is the second time we have used the property and it is a beautiful spot for a gathering and getaway. We stay out of season and the property is warm and light with lots of space and comfortable for a large number of people staying. Near to the beach and town so we didn’t need our car for the whole stay.

Swanpool view - June 2025

Large spacious property with excellent views in a prime location. Very comfortable and clean with private outside space. Additional benefit is being on the bus route to Falmouth town and shirt walk to Gyllenvase beach. Would definitely revisit .

A weeks family holiday in Falmouth

A fantastic house in a great location. I have family connections in the area and this house provided a great base from which to explore and meet friends and family. Everything we needed was provided and the Cornish tea, coffee, jam and scones provided was a nice gesture. Highly recommended !

Summer break at Swanpool View

We stayed at Swanpool View for a week in August. The location was fantastic, just a three minute walk down the hill (via pavement or a stepped footpath adjacent to the house) to Swanpool beach and the coastal footpath. The views were lovely, incorporating both the lake and the sea. Space wise, the property is amazing, four generously sized bedrooms and a huge open plan kitchen, dining, lounge and games area. There is a very spacious hall on the lower ground floor with direct access to the enclosed garden, which was perfect for our dog to set up camp in. We would happily book again based on location and space alone. Cleanliness wasn’t perfect upon arrival, but was acceptable. The upper floor space is very sociable, but quite detached from the outside space on the lower ground floor. The management company were very responsive when had a minor issue and it was sorted within a couple of hours. The bedrooms would benefit from some additional soft furnishings to make them a bit more homely, but the beds were very comfy.

Great property

This is the second time staying at Swanpool View and it remains a great holiday property. It is spacious, clean and well-equipped and such a great location, overlooking Swanpool Beach. Our three grandchildren just love being on the beach so it is ideal, just a few minutes walk away. It is also close to public footpaths to the other Falmouth beaches. We will be looking to book again for next year.

Spacious accommodation in an excellent location, but with some issues.

Excellent location with sea views and within five minutes' walk of the beach. Spacious accommodation with top-floor open plan living area and comfortable bedrooms. This was our third stay at the property and unfortunately we have encountered some disappointing issues over the last couple of years, some of which were not resolved during our stay. We would not hesitate to book the property again if we could be confident that the issues had been addressed.

Hi, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback, and for choosing to stay with us for a third time, we truly appreciate your continued support. Lovely house and location Would have been really helpful to have use of the garage especially with singly and body board that we had to carry to the lower ground floor each day

Hi, Thank you for taking the time to leave your comments. With the Garage, that is closed off for owner storage and that is also why we don't show this on the listing. Thank you again and we hope you had a wonderful stay. Best Wishes - Luxury Coastal

Exceptional Falmouth Stay

My wife and I stayed in the Swanpool home along with her 90 year old father and her sister with her sister’s husband. All 5 of us really enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful and modern. The views of Swanpool lake were amazing. The location was excellent with close access to trails and the beach within a couple hundred yards. We walked to Falmouth harbor along a beautiful paved coastal trail one dat and on another day walked on a coastline trail the other direction. There plenty of parking for two vehicles in the driveway. The home was clean and the beds were comfortable. There was very nice new kitchen ware and utensils. The house is beautiful and we definitely recommend the home as a perfect place to stay. Thanks all for the opportunity to stay at your home.

Cleanliness and parking

We had a problem with getting out of the drive because of the park cars on either side of the road outside Property. obviously these people are parking they’re not paying to pay on the car park below. This must be an ongoing problem. The stairs going down to the downstairs bedrooms need cleaning on The bottom of the spindles, also The door to the main bedroom does shut due to swelling of door. I’m only mentioning these just to keep you informed and they can be rectified. We had a lovely time, a lovely house in a lovely position.
