This place is in the center of Newcastle action. The walk to anywhere we wanted to go was less than 15 minutes.

Iain’s space is located so close to the train station, so easy to move our luggage. The flat is spacious, very well kept and has great decor. A fully outfitted kitchen with a great coffee machine:) The bed was super comfy and the bedrooms were large. It’s equipped with a washer/dryer, so we were able to do our laundry before carrying on with our trip. Iain was very helpful and responded quickly to questions. The location makes it easy to get to all the sights. They provided everything needed for a great, first visit to New Castle

The place has a very large livingroom which is bathed in sunshine. The kitchen was well equipped with easy to use coffee machine, toaster, microwave and dishwasher. The washer and dryer also worked well. It was very clean and comfortable.

Excellent location and friendly hosts.

The property was in a great place and the hosts made check in and out easy. Easy to visit tourist attractions on foot and perfect for the night life. Thank you.

Great Stay!

We loved being in the heart of Newcastle. We were able to walk everywhere we needed. The apartment was fully stocked with everything you could need.

Great Stay

Loved the location as it is very central and easy to get to all attractions. Beds were comfy, hot showers and all the necessities for cooking. Although pop world was opposite, the noise was managable and didnt disturb my sleep. Overall we had a great stay at the apartment.

Fabulous chill space in centre of town

The flat is an oasis in a lively part of town. Everything that you might need is provided. Light and airy living room/kitchen. Very friendly and helpful owners. Highly recommended!

Newcastle stay

More than most VRBO places that we stayed on our trip to England, this one provided snacks and beverages. That is much appreciated when traveling. A clean and comfortable place. The only downside is that the property is adjacent to some serious party places that stay rowdy until morning. Earplugs required.

Excellent stay for premier league match in Newcastle

Our stay could not have been better! Ian and Maggie were communcative in the build up to our trip and so so accomadating. We visited Newcastle from the USA to go to Saint James Park and attend a premier league match. The apartment was in a perfect location within walking distance of the stadium and in the city center. Ian and Maggie were able to receive our tickets and left them with other welcoming goodies upon arrival. Clean,comfortable and charming apartment with everything needed for a short or even long term stay. Thank you Ian and Maggie for everything!!

Nice flat to let. up 3 flights of stairs.. Lift operated but from outside of lift:) Gas leak so gas turned off. no hot water except in shower. Worked for us. Noisy location but with windows closed slept well. On a hot night though...

Wonderful Visit!

We were staying in Newcastle for about two weeks for my parents graduation from university for their PhD. It was my grandmother and my brother and I staying at the flat, and my other family visited daily. It was comfortable, homely, and definitely better than staying at a hotel! We were in a prime area for catching busses, metro, and trains anywhere we wanted to visit, there was great shopping and restaurants everywhere, and the square below was always bustling with activity! Iain and Maggie were very kind to work with and I regret that we never actually got to meet them in person! With the remote check in and check out, we never had any need to. Overall it was a wonderful trip and an amazing stay! If I ever travel with multiple people again, I definitely plan to stay here again if I can!

City stay

Fabulous flat - light, airy and very well equipped. Fluffy towels, clean bedding and even a welcome snack box! Location is amazing - right in the middle of town but don’t expect a quiet night! Loved it.

Excellent stay

Excellent stay, bit noisy with pop world being opposite but much to be expected in the centre and didn’t bother us as we were in an excellent location to sightsee and people watch and the flat was amazing,modern and clean and the host was brilliant, will definitely recommend to others.

A superb overall experience.

Excellent comms from the beginning which gave peace of mind for the trip and travel arrangements. Superb property in a central area which is convenient for most things. Bars, food, shopping, etc. Excellent attention to detail from very thoughtful hosts made this an incredibly pleasant break. We all agreed (even 7 month old Parker) that we’d love to stay again.

Ideal Location

Property is in an ideal location for a night out in Newcastle. The property is exactly as shown in the pictures, very clean and has all the amenities needed. Whilst the property is located directly opposite bars and the square is a thoroughfare for shoppers and revellers the noise is to a minimum..will definitely be staying here again next time am in town.

Lively Neighborhood

We stayed at the property during the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. There was plenty of nightlife to be found if that is your desire. The flat is in a great location for restaurants, train station, pubs, and Newcastle Castle. The hosts have made the flat very cozy and we enjoyed having access to a washer & dryer. There is also a lift available which was very nice since we had several heavy bags. If you are looking for a quiet neighborhood then this flat won’t be for you. It appears to be a regular party scene. We were not disturbed by the noisy patrons, but I can see where some people would be. Overall it was a great spot to explore the city and find great food.

Amazing stay!

Amazing hosts! Whole apartment was spotless, lovely little thank you note was left. I would recommend staying here to anyone who’s looking to be central in Newcastle - and wants a comfortable stay! I will 110% be staying here again :)))
