CASA ALBA, rustic house on the hill with heated pool-spa and sea views

It is a lovely, restored two-story rural home with stunning views of the mountains and the sea, situated on a beautiful hill overlooking the famous Llano de Tenagua, 8 km from Santa Cruz de La Palma. If you’re looking for a peaceful place to relax, enjoy nature, and go hiking… the Llano, just like the island itself, will win you over.

The house is the owners’ (much-loved) vacation home and consists of two separate but adjacent spaces: the main house and a studio apartment with a separate entrance:

- The main house has two stories. On the first floor are the four bedrooms:
—two with double beds, one with a single bed (with a walk-through entrance to one of the double bedrooms), and a spacious bathroom with a large tub. In the adjoining apartment, there is a bedroom with two single beds and a double sofa bed. The rooms are painted in bright colors and decorated with wooden furniture; two of them feature exposed beams.

- The single room still retains the childlike decor from when the owners’ daughter (now an adult) was little. Some of the family’s belongings are stored there, but it also has a dresser and a coat rack for guests. Since it serves as a walk-through to the double bedroom, it does not have a window.

- All double bedrooms have spacious closets, some with dressers, for all guests.

- Halfway up the staircase separating the two floors is a second small bathroom that also has a shower.

- The upper floor, which offers the best views of the entire Llano de Tenagua, the sea, and the mountains, features a living room with a wooden ceiling that opens onto two outdoor terraces. The living room features two three-seater sofas—one of which converts into a comfortable sofa bed—and a recliner. It also has a dresser and a fireplace.

- Adjacent to the living room is the kitchen-dining area, surrounded by large windows and featuring a terrace facing the sea and the Llano, where you can eat, read, and enjoy the stunning and varied landscapes visible from this part of the house.
It is equipped with a ceramic-glass cooktop, refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle, traditional coffee maker, toaster, orange juicer, immersion blender, etc.

- The studio apartment, which has a separate entrance from the outside and is not connected to the rest of the house, features two single beds that can be pushed together and a double sofa bed. The kitchen area includes a small ceramic-top stove, a microwave, a small refrigerator, and everything needed for cooking and dining. The apartment also has a small bathroom with all the essentials. It is equipped with Wi-Fi and a small TV, providing guests with complete independence from the main house.

Therefore, the house can accommodate up to 11 adults + 1 child under 2 years old (we have a crib). As for the bed arrangements, they can be configured as follows:

-4 adults in the double bedrooms
-1 adult/child in the single bedroom
-2 adults/children on the sofa bed in the living room
-2 adults/children on the single beds in the studio
-2 adults/children on the sofa bed in the apartment
-1 child under 2 years old in a crib

As for recreational facilities, the house features:

- A heated pool with hydromassage jets and colored night lighting, ideal for nighttime swimming. The dimensions are: 4.80 m long x 2.50 m wide x 1.40 m deep.

- Reclining lounge chairs for use by the pool and sunbathing.

- A built-in, fully equipped brick barbecue on the outdoor terrace, for use exclusively with charcoal.

- The terrace is equipped with a beach umbrella and outdoor furniture, all offering views of the sea, the mountains, and Santa Cruz de La Palma, with beautiful views both during the day and at night, when you can see the city and the airport lit up in the distance, as well as a sky full of stars.
