Villa Roca Nova is located in Cala D Or, Mallorca. This detached
vacation rental property offers air-conditioning, Free Wi-Fi and sleeps
up to 8 people with 4 Bedrooms and 4 Bathrooms. There is a private pool
(South Facing) with barbecue. Walking distance to the Beach and
Restaurants.
Layout

Villa Roca Nova is a two-storey villa. On the ground floor, from the
entrance, you get into the open lounge/dining room with access to the
pool area. The well equipped kitchen has an access to the BBQ area in
the garden. There are one double room with an en suite bathroom with a
bath and a twin bedroom. On this ground floor, there is also a family
bathroom with a shower. A further double bedroom with an en suite
bathroom with a shower has a separate entrance. An external staircase
leads to the fourth room, a twin bedroom with an en suite bathroom with
a bath and access to the upper sun-terrace overlooking the pool.

Living Room
The living room has a Satellite TV, ornamental fireplace, dining area,
comfortable sofas, DVD Player and Free Wi-Fi. There are patio doors to
the pool terrace.

Kitchen
The kitchen features a granite work top, toaster, coffee maker, washing
machine, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, stove/hob and oven. There
is also a barbecue outside.

Villa Roca Nova has 4 air-conditioned Bedrooms:
Bedroom 1 is air-conditioned with a double bed. En Suite Bathroom

Villa Rock Nova is in a Fab location close to the bars and beach at Cala Egos. It is a 10 minute walk to the marina and a 30 minute walk into Cala d’or or you could get the ting ting train which runs often throughout the day.The property itself is quite basic in need of some TLC.POSITIVESair-conditioning in each bedroom.Good size pool.Outdoor seating.Sun loungers.Washing machine.Ironing facilities.One bathroom per bedroom.Safe in one bedroom.One linen change in our 10 days stay.Two towel changes in our 10 days stay.Host dealt with air-conditioning problem we had quickly in effectively.NEGATIVESTwo of the bedrooms are separate to the main building and only one key per door so the people in the separate bedrooms could not access the main house during the night unless we left the house door open!The upstairs bedroom has poor Aircon the guests in that room spent a few nights in the main living room on the sofa as their Aircon did not work effectively and they were too hot.No Aircon in the main living room so you have to leave the bedroom doors open for it to be cool.Main living area is quite small for eight peopleShaded seating area outside near the pool isn’t very shaded as canopy is small.No parasols by pool (we bought our own)No pool cover so pool got very warm very quickly.Furniture and kitchen facilities inside a bit grubby and could do with updating.

Quiet stay en Mallorca

Beautiful villa in Cala d’Or : very clean, big bedrooms, swimming pool, barbecue, close to the beach. Unfortunately there is no air conditioner and the location was à bit far away from thé center town of Cala d’Or.

Disappointments at Villa Roca Nova

8 of us stayed at the Villa Roca Nova 28 May to 4 June 2023. As advertised the villa is perfectly situated in the resort of Cala D'Or for beaches and shops - just 10 minutes walk to either. However: 1.    The literature is misleading in that two of the bedrooms are separated from the main villa by individual entrances. This proved inconvenient as only one of each key was provided and that was rightly held by those staying in that part of the building who needed to lock the door at night for the safety of their children. Those in the separated bedrooms were therefore locked out of the kitchen and lounge. 2.    The floors were grubby (even after being cleaned) and mould in a shower room could be rubbed off with your finger. 3. The kitchen lacked cutlery and sufficient crockery for 8 occupants. Fridge had clearly been turned on just before our arrival and didn't get to proper operating temperature until Day 4 of our stay. On Day 3 we found a large cockroach in the kitchen which was on the work surface. The Toaster didn't work from Day 1 and the cleaners arranged a replacement on Day 5 of our stay. The bedroom linen and towels were grey, rather than white, and the towels in particular, were very worn and of poor quality.  4. The mattresses on the beds were hard and uncomfortable with one member of the party suffering very badly with the result he slept one night on the couch. 5.The smoke alarm in the balcony bedroom was missing and found in drawer with dead battery.

We had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful house.

We had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful house. It was perfect for our family, with four spacious bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, providing plenty of comfort and privacy. The lovely terraces, the pool, and the outdoor areas made it a fantastic place to relax. The location is ideal, just a short walk from the beach, supermarkets, restaurants, and the marina. This is definitely a house we would love to return to, and we highly recommend it.

Lovely villa just right for a family

We really enjoyed our stay - perfect for a family get together. The pool was perfect and the outside space was great for socialising. Cala Egos is a nice small town and there is a regular bus into Cala D'or - we found it hard work getting taxis. The only small downside is there is no aircon in the bedrooms. Would stay again.

Fabulous!!! The villa is in an excellent location for the amenities. The villa is very comfortable and well equipped. Although it is so close to shops, bars it is blissfully peaceful, only the birds to listen to, just great. The pool is fantastic, really enjoyed floating around the pool reading my book. I will definitely recommend to everybody, I already have!!! I and my family will definitely be returning.

We used Cala Dor as a base for our holiday, which was also our first visit to Mallorca, visiting beaches in the south of the island and, later during our stay, doing some short hikes in the north-west of the island (which can be reached within 90 minutes, cyclists permitting!). Villa Roca Nova is very comfortable and appears to have been updated since the photographs presented on the (HomeAway) website were taken. This is particularly true for the kitchen and the living room furniture. Although the pool (not heated) was not quite ready for use in mid/late April, Im sure that it would be great in the summer months. The kitchen is fully-equipped for those who like to eat at home and the barbecue provides a handy alternative. Bars, restaurants and a small supermarket can be found within walking distance (we didnt spot the bar 50 metres away though!).

We enjoyed very much staying at this beautiful villa! It has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. An external staircase leads to the fourth room, a twin bedroom with an en suite bathroom with a bath and access to the upper sun-terrace overlooking the pool. There were only 5 of us and we used the bedrooms only. The house is absolutely beautiful! It has swimming pool and a nice patio where we had breakfast and dinner when we didnt feel like going out. The kitchen is well equipped. It has all the tools necessary to cooking and eating. The villa is within 10 minutes walking distance from the beach. There are stores within walking distance in case you need any supplies. The view from the terrace upstairs is absolutely beautiful! You can see the mountains and some of the ocean. We had a wonderful time!
