Some of the best accommodation in the area.

The Police House Cottages are always immaculately clean and very well equipped. The woodburning stove is a great new addition and makes the cottage extremely cosy and even more comfortable. We are regular visitors and are never disappointed.

Excellent property, very clean, very well equipped and ideally located. Communication with the owners was excellent and they were very helpful. I would definitely recommend this property and will be back again to stay.

Lovely stay in a superb location with everything you need.

The cottages are lovely, in an ideal location from the main attractions/beaches. The cottages are clean and had all the kitchen essentials needed to feel like home. Communication with George was great throughout. The dog absolutely loved it! It was a great stay and would be sure to stay again in future and recommend to friends.

Very relaxing holiday,we have stayed many times and we always enjoy staying in the cottage.

So much to see and do, the coastline is superb and coming back to the cottage is always a pleasure.We ate breakfast each day in the hotel and that was excellent.

Great little cottage, everything you needed, comfortable, clean and great location

We booked the cottage as we were walking parts of the coastal path and it was perfect. We had a wonderful time. The cottage had everything we needed, the beds were made into singles as requested and very comfortable. The open plan kitchen living space was a nice layout. The cottage was clean, coffee machine with the pods very well received and cloakroom area for our boots and coats kept the rooms uncluttered. Dined at the hotel opposite one night very enjoyable.

Lovely cottage in perfect location

On arrival the cottage was very clean and tidy. It had everything we needed on our stay, and having the pub 30 seconds away was idea after a day out walking.

#1 The Police House is a beautiful house set in a delightful village. Well decorated, comfortable and immaculate. Location is peaceful but central to everything on the Northumbrian coast. We reported a wasp nest to the host, Michael responded quickly but was unhelpful and didn’t fix the issue during our 6 day stay.

Wonderful Stay

Another wonderful stay at Dunstanburgh Police Cottages. The cottage is spacious, very comfortable, clean and well equipped. We usually stay in November for a weekend so it was a real treat to be there in June for a week, the weather was lovely. The cottage is very well situated on the beautiful Northumberland coast with fantastic beaches nearby, the village of Embleton is a delight. A good time was had by all, thank you.

A well equipped, warm cottage

Was very clean, comfortable and warm. Has everything you need for a lovely stay. Beach close by, lots of food options in the village and a lovely farm shop just across the road. Have stayed at Police cottages lots of times and always left happy.
