The Bad: Overall clean but lots of cobwebs around skylights in 2nd bedroom & high up in bathroom, bit of dust on skirting in cloakroom, many dirty cups & glasses. Hoover clogged with dog fur & needed emptying and rollers removed to unclog.
Kitchen cupboards with equipment were a jumbled mess, lots of parts of things. Nonstick on pans too worn to use.
Lots of dust on the back of the TV, (can only see it when TV turned to use in dinning room).
Rotary dryer covered in cobwebs and dirt, no hole for it to go in.
Some items not as described in the write up (needs amendments). No quirky copper coffee table. The outside shower is a hosepipe.
We found the master bed uncomfortable, too hard. Could do with a blackout blind. Not much room to get around the bed.
The good: there are TVs in bedrooms, son was delighted, no mention in description.
My son found the 2nd bedroom comfortable.
The lounge/dinner felt spacious.
The garden is very private, no neighbours have windows overlooking. Hot tub is great, due to privacy in garden felt very comfortable using.
Easy to get to sandunes, beach, cafe, corner shop, fish and chip shop.
Lots of dog bowls. Huge tub of dog treats, our dog loved them and my son enjoyed feeding some to local dogs. (We could have had use of dog bed and create but due to allergies we asked not to be left out).
Thank you for goody bag, dishwasher tablets etc, useful.
Karen from East Coast Hideaway went to a lot of effort to get some replacement kitchen items & a few other things .Top marks for customer service.
Despite my moans I would come back as it is one of the better "dogs anywhere" holiday cottages.
