Cottage is in perfect location for exploring the Cotswolds, in a peaceful, quiet village. Parking is on the road outside the cottage, we never had a problem.
There are very low door ways upstairs which my 6 foot husband banged his head, so bad there was a bleeding deep gash. This was not mentioned anywhere, despite quite amusing H&S warnings in the folder ("don't slam your fingers in drawers" "don't fall between the beds")
Beds are comfy, we always take our own pillows, but ones there looked ok. Nice living room with sofas. Garden is good to sit out in, shady in the afternoon which suited us in a heat wave.
We had one issue that was sorted within a couple of hours, so good service there.
However, it just need a really good clean, especially the bathroom and kitchen. We swept dead flies off window sills, and weeks worths of cobwebs. there is too much "stuff", ornaments etc making it dusty. kitchen cupboards are dirty inside, and filled with way too many plates etc.
We had a good week, but I would not book this particular cottage again unless it had been thoroughly cleaned.
