Returning visit. (6th)

It is our 6th time staying at this lovely cottage. The cottage is so comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. There is a beautiful quiet back garden. Found it a godsend as recovering from knee surgery so could sit and enjoy. Also as you walk out of the cottage there are lovely flat walks along the estuary. Also plenty of places to visit and beaches are lovely. There was a problem with the controls on the downstairs shower over the bath but have mentioned it and hopefully this will be sorted. Also dog friendly if you have one.

Enjoyed our stay.

Loved the cottage and sheltered gaarden. Dog friendly ,great for walking and beaches. Good local pub shame they didnt do meals.

Ideal for birdwatching

This was my third visit. The cottage is ideally positioned for visiting Malltraeth Cob and Marsh area, also for the Newborough Forest area. The village is very quiet with only one small shop and a pub so not for everyone. The nearest supermarkets and restaurants are about a 15 minute drive away. The cottage is clean and comfortable with a very nice enclosed garden. The staircase up to the first floor bedroom is a little hazardous if you have mobility issues but there is a downstairs bedroom and bathroom.

Stayed here 5 plus times absolutely love it

Last time we stayed we had a issue with heating but it was down to internet not working (widespread problem )was sorted very quickly and Coastal moved us to another very nice property All sorted without any fuss so will definitely stay again

A lovely stay

lovely cottage throughout , We are big bird watchers and nature people,so this cottage ticked a lot of boxes for us , waders on the estuary and the red squirrels in the Forrest just down the road ,the cottage was clean and the cutlery draws were so tidy it has to be mentioned , the garden was a really nice retreat for the couple of nights we had the weather for it , cost wise I did find this really good value for money and will try and book this cottage in future years

A really nice accommodation

This an extremely well equipped accommodation, very clean., modern, comfortable.and dog friendly with an exceptionally secure garden for our escape artist spaniel. My only disappointment was that it was very difficult finding pubs or restaurants in the out of season period without travelling dome distance, but we were there in out of season period.

Lovely Anglesea cottage.

A lovely cottage in a great location to explore Newborough forest & beach & also Rhosneiger, which has some great restaurants & cafes. The cottage has everything you could possibly need for your stay. & the dogs loved the garden & the dog biscuits The clean team were unbelievable (wait until you see the cutlery draw) .

Dog friendly cottages in great location.

Nice cottage with superb garden that is both private and enclosed. Beds very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. TV remote needs replacing! Perfectly positioned for walking the dog. We drove to Aberffraw most days but also walked from the cottage along the Cob to Newborough forest. Would book again.

Loved our week here in a very comfortable, well equipped cottage, in a great location. Excellent for cycling, walking, birding and estuaryfishing. Only one suggestin; put a lighter weight summer duvet on the upstairs bed. Clive

Comfortable cottage in an Ideal location for birdwatching

This was our second visit but at a different time of year. As previously the cottage was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Although there is a wood burning stove we didn't need it despite the cold and windy weather. It's in an ideal location for birdwatching and for touring the island. The stairs to the upper floor bedroom are slightly hazardous but there is a ground floor bedroom.

Perfect summer retreat

This was our second visit to Llys Awel and it was just as enjoyable as the previous year. The cottage is spacious, with a comfortable sitting room and a large very well-equipped kitchen. The bedrooms are a good size and the beds extremely comfortable. The bathrooms are clean and practical, and the showers work well. The garden is lovely and the outdoor seating attractive and comfortable. Our dog especially enjoyed the garden. The siutation of the cottage is ideal if you like walking and wildlife, which are on your doorstep.

Overall a good property in a rural location. Local amenities a little lacking though.

All the facilities you would expect for a self catering cottage with a beautiful garden. Stairs were a bit narrow and turned at the top which could have been helped by a grab handle. The addition of an EV charging point would be a good upgrade.

Complaint!!

My family i were dumped in the wilderness!! 30 min from corner shop and 40 mins from supermarket! Then though I had been promised local amenities nearby for coffee shop, gift shops for our convenience .. The cottage smelt of dogs and the WiFi for my children didn't work. One TV in the downstairs lounge.. Afraid we didn't,couldn't stay and got back.in our car to drive home 3 hours to Shropshire. I ecspect an apartment,accommodation home from home!! Tried calling.manager calls left unanswered, I have alerted my bank to this Theft,Fraud.. Disgusting Coastal Holidays more like coastal Theft. !!!

Great location

A great property in a really good location. If you have a dog the garden is secure and there is plenty of dog walking locally without getting in your car. The property is in a good location for visiting the local beaches and forest walks and has all you would need for a comfortable stay. We will return.

A lovely cottage comfortable and well equipped.. a real home from home. The garde was lovely too.. Situated in a beautiful ares with lots of lovely walks nearby. Would recommend a stay atLlys Aeel to everyone.

The cottage was well equipped and we had a lovely stay. The beds were so comfortable (so much that we looked where the mattress was from so we can get one!) The enclosed garden was a credit. Near forest and beaches. Would recommend.

Really fabulous family holiday

Really great stay at Llys Awel. It is clearly a well-loved, home-from-home property. Very well equipped, we wanted for nothing whilst we were there and found it a really comfortable, cosy and relaxing place to be. To be able to look in the evening at the mountains we had climbed that day was a proper treat. The garden is gorgeous & our kids loved it. Location was perfect - we cycled from the door to Newborough Forest & the beach beyond, and also the Lon las Cefni. Wildlife from the door is the best we’ve seen for a while. Overall a 5 star stay, thankyou!

Stay at Llys Awel

Had an amazing week at Llys Awel. Cannot fault this house - spacious, spotlessly clean, everything you need, so comfortable & a lovely garden. A real home from home. The wine & Welsh cakes were a lovely touch, thank you. The ever changing view from the master bedroom was stunning - especially Snowdonia in the distance. Great location for exploring the island with fabulous beaches. A visit to Newborough Warren is a must, right on your doorstep! We had some lovely walks straight from the house and would highly recommend a stay here.
