The apartment was exceptionally clean — easily the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed in. It was very well equipped, with thoughtful extras like beach towels, umbrellas for both sun and rain, toiletries, coffee, oil, and sugar. There were plenty of towels for both the bathroom and kitchen, and the kitchen itself had modern, high-quality equipment. The bed was very comfortable, with great pillows and quality linen, and the area was so quiet that we had a really good night’s sleep. The hosts were incredibly helpful, providing lots of recommendations on places to eat and visit. We also appreciated having a washing machine with detergent and our own patio with a large table. For the price, this accommodation is absolutely amazing.

Had an amazing stay in Olhão with Nelson and Paula! The nicest people we have encountered on our trip in Europe! They provided us with everything that we could possibly need and gave us so many recommendations to explore their town. They made us feel so welcomed and went above and beyond to make our stay the best! Highly recommend staying at this studio as it has everything you need for a great stay in the Algarve!

Cosy clean apartment

The hosts were lovely and very communicative even before we arrived and the check in process was seamless and the apartment was as described. It’s small just cosy and just right for short stays. It’s in a good location and we walked everywhere as there’s a lot nearby.

House in Olhao

Fantastic stay! Exactly as described. Everything we needed was provided and our hosts were always on hand with advice and suggestions for places to visit. They were both very friendly and very careful to protect our privacy. Communication with them was very easy.

Two sisters

My sister and I stayed one night in this cute apartment. It is snug, but had everything we needed. We met Nelson and Paula, who welcomed us with information about what was close by. Easy walk into Olhao, which had restaurants, bakeries, shops, and a park along the harbour. A nice visit.

It’s small, but there is everything what you need, even more. It’s very clean. We stayed for 8 days and after four days they cleaned the studio, we had fresh linens and towels, which I appreciate very much. The owner is very friendly and nice. Lovely studio with amazing hosts

Our stay at this little studio was wonderful. The apartment is small but well equipped so there is everything you need. The outside area is quite big and comfy. We have had a great time in Olhão. We are still impressed by the hospitality from the hosts. They made the stay perfect by providing many and detailed suggestions for day trips around the area and by offering to help whereever they could! They even spoiled us with regional specialities. All in all we can highly recommend a stay in this wonderful apartment and a big thank you to the hosts!

Amazing

Nelson and his wife were incredible kind, generous and helpful. We were amazed by their hospitality and they were so invested on making our stay special. They even made us a program suggesting places we should visit based on the duration of our safe. The studio was confortable and fully equipped. Nelson & Paula are lovely kind beautiful people. They go above and beyond to make sure you have a safe comfortable memorable stay. The studio is exactly as photos show, cute, super clean, small and just enough for 2 people, all basic amenities are there. Everything works great and looked after well, nothing is broken loose or leaking, the maintenance is great. They send you lots of recommendations on places you can visit which I thought was a lovely gesture and very helpful especially as first timers in Portugal Algarve. Their communication and response rate is really good. The standard of their care is very high and personal. They both greeted and welcomed me & my brother outside the property, we arrived quite late at night, got a quick tour/explanation of the studio, they left us some snacks, juice & water as we were arriving late which was a very thoughtful gesture. We stayed for 9 nights, they did a clean mid week and again the level of cleanliness was golden standard. Fresh new sheets, towels, top ups, clean space etc. The hosts definitely made our stay much more pleasant. So thank you Nelson & Paula, you guys have been amazing. We truly appreciate the effort you invest into your guests, into the property, and into the service you provide. We would absolutely recommend staying here and would happily return again in the future. Wishing you both all the best and thank you again for making our first trip to the Algarve such a special and comfortable experience.

Very gracious hosts

The place is exactly as described. Everything that is needed for a comfortable stay is there. Nelson and Paula are wonderful people, very helpful in making suggestions for day trips and sightseeing, Nelson sends us all information right down to google map. He took us on a tour around town on our first day. We were lucky that on our last day at Olhao, Nelson had to go to Faro, he very generously offered to give us a ride to the bus station. Excellent Stay

Nelson and Paula are the most perfect hosts, happy to help but also show respect and privacy. Accommodation is modern, clean and everything one or two people would require. Easy 15 min Uber from Faro Airport. 15 min walk to train station and cheap tickets to Tavira (and Tavira Island with amazing beach)and Fuseta, both a must see. 20 mins brisk walk to front in Olhao. Bus service available but i like to walk. Ferry to one of the islands from Olheo also not to be missed. Olhao is a beautiful fishing town. All in all a beautiful, relaxing holiday. Thank you Nelson and Paula.

Avoiding the Scottish winter

As a solo traveller this was perfect accommodation. Communication from the outset was both reliable and informative. I met both Nelson and Paula on day 1 but most of my communication/contact was through Nelson who had a good grasp of the English language to help me. Both however were lovely and Paula’s English was impressive. Nelson was extremely generous with his time and support offering me suggestions where to visit and ride my bike on a daily basis. He was most sincere and a joy to chat to when not busy. Both were very respectful of my privacy. The accommodation was completely as described. It was super clean and I could not find fault with anything. Great location for exploring on foot or by train. They both have a genuine intent to offer the best of holidays for guests. Highly recommended. If I return to Portugal, I would not look beyond staying with the best hosts again.

Wonderful!

The most amazing hosts. Their kindness, communication, thoughtfulness, and generosity were unexpected and appreciated! It started with Nélson picking me up at my bust stop and taking me on a drive around Olhão. Paula took me on a tour of the studio which was super clean and homey and had almost all you need other than your food. If you're able to travel by walking it's pretty easy to get around, but if you'd like to ride there is a bus stop on the corner. There are a few snack bars very close and Aldi/Pingo Doce are a couple kms away so you can walk or call a Bolt or Uber. The Mercado is 1.7km away and if you walk the route takes you thru an interesting old neighborhood. I will be back in a year or so and can't wait to stay here again and for a longer time! Oh, and please don't miss the ferry to Ilha do Farol, it is so beautiful and the water is cool and refreshing. Obrigada Nélson and Paula!

Tolle Gastgeber, wunderschöne WohnungNelson ist der Mann für alles, er zeigt dir deinen Parkplatz.. macht eine Roomtour und empfiehlt richtig gute günstige Restaurants in der Nähe 3Wir hatten einen wirklich tollen Aufenthalt in dieser Ferienwohnung in Olhão. Die Gastgeber sind unglaublich freundlich, zuvorkommend und herzlich. Man fühlt sich von Anfang an willkommen und merkt, dass ihnen das Wohl ihrer Gäste wirklich wichtig ist.Die Wohnung war sauber, gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen entspannten Aufenthalt braucht. Auch die Kommunikation war unkompliziert und sehr angenehm.Von uns eine klare Empfehlung – wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!
