Villa Lisa ligger i gåafstand fra lyserøde sandstrande, den offentlige busrute, to resorts, tennisbaner, cykelbutik for vandaktiviteter, restauranter og ikoniske seværdigheder. Det er en praktisk hjemmebase, hvorfra man kan ture og udforske.

Bermuda getaway

Absolutely lovely house in a beautiful part of the island and our hosts were super welcoming. Public transport is close by and easy to navigate.

Villa Lisa

What an awesome vacation!! My wife and I have stayed at multiple hotels on the island over the past 35 years and had a great time but this trip was extra special. Great location, comfortable cottage with all the amenities, and hosts Lisa & Charles are great people who really care about their guests. It really couldn’t of been a better week and stay. We e will definitely be back soon!

Just Perfect

Villa Lisa was a perfect accommodation. Lisa and Charlie completed the experience. They went above and beyond in making us comfortable and informed without being intrusive. Renting our wee little car got us out and about exploring. The Reefs was a very handy and great choice for dinner

Christmas/NYE in Bermuda

Lisa and Charlie were very accommodating. We loved their cottage and became fast friends with them! A delightful space with very engaging hosts. We rented e-bikes and found them adequate to see the entire Island.

Blissfully Bermuda

This comfortable cottage will allow you to unwind in the serenity of its surroundings. Lisa and Charlie were excellent caregivers to us while we were there Dash making sure every need was met before we even arrived! Perfect vacation!

We had such a wonderful time at Villa Lisa. The cottage is charming with beautiful views and had everything we needed. We cooked a few dinners in the kitchen and had wonderful breakfasts each morning on the patio. We took short scooter rides to the beautiful beaches and the location was perfect. There was also a wonderful beach within walking distance where we saw lots of parrotfish. We can't wait to go back to Villa Lisa. Lisa and Charlie were incredible hosts and wonderful people.

Once again Villa Lisa has surpassed our expectations. Lisa and Charlie are wonderful responsive and welcoming hosts. From the morning newspaper to the well provisioned pantry their attention to detail is much appreciated. Thoroughly relaxing and comfortable living space with lovely views. We’ll be returning.

Hillside Paradise

From the first time we saw the picture of the cottage on VRBO… We knew it was the perfect place for us. We have been to Bermuda five times before and were looking for a little romantic getaway… We found it. Lisa and Charlie were amazing hosts who shared their beautiful cottage in the perfect location. Beautiful breezy beaches and views…cozy, comfortable and clean. The fridge was stocked and the morning newspaper delivered… We will never stay in a resort again!!!

The Perfect Bermuda Stay

PERFECT is the word to describe this beautiful Villa. Its location is perfect - walkable to bus stops, restaurants at the Reefs Resort, scooter rentals, and beautiful Church Bay beach. The Villa itself is perfect - clean, decorated with warmth and thought, equipped with absolutely everything you need and more, including four different outdoor areas where you can enjoy views of the ocean and Gibbs Hill Lighthouse. The hostesses are perfect - Lisa and Charlie made us feel like family and were so helpful in making sure our vacation was wonderful. And, of course, Bermuda itself is a perfect destination for breathtaking beauty and relaxation - even more beautiful than we remember from 1990!

Can not be happier with our stay at Villa Lisa!! Charlie and Lisa were/are wonderfully sweet hosts. They really take care of their guests and go above and beyond to make you feel at home! Wonderful Bermuda Vacation

Our stay at the Cottage was great. Lisa and Charlie are very warm and welcoming hosts. The cottage is probably better than the pictures with beautiful artwork by Lisa and fantastic views of the ocean. Very close by to The Reefs Resort for dining, Henry VIII Restaurant (walkable), and a short scooter ride to Horseshoe Bay Beach. We were fortunate to have a full moon over the water our last 2 nights that was spectacular. We look forward to returning again. Thanks for everything Lisa & Charlie.

Cottage Bliss

After years of visiting Bermuda admiring the cute lil english cottage on the hill during long walks it was so special to be able to stay here and enjoy this property. So quaint, quiet, with a wonderful sea view and breeze. Hours on the upper balcony will forever be some of our favorite moments and memories in Bermuda. Our hosts were such wonderful people who had every need taken care of and lots of special touches. They are the best. Thank you Lisa and Charles for sharing your adorable cottage. Wonderful Experience!

Well you pay your money and hope for the best. This was one of those great surprises in VRBO stays! The owners Lisa and Charlie were so kind and gracious to us. It was if we had been friends for a long time. The cottage was stocked with delicious, fresh food, which was a complete surprise to us and so appreciated. We have stayed in countless Airbnb’s and VRBOs but this one we will never forget! Truly memorable!!!

Little Gem

Our stay at Villa Lisa was beautiful. Lisa & Charles were the best hosts you could hope for with their friendly and kind hospitality. The location is so relaxing and peaceful while being convenient for the number 7 bus, railway trail and some of the best beaches you could wish for. The property is cool and colourful with all the little touches to make our stay feel extra special. We had a wonderful time and felt like residents of the parish soaking up the Bermuda vibes. A dream come true

My fiancé and I traveled to Bermuda to celebrate a dear friends wedding and could not have found a better place to stay. We felt like the luckiest people on the island. From organizing transportation from and to the airport, having our taxi driver pick us up with a hand painted piece of art, to stocking our fridge with the necessities, Lisa was always there to help and made us feel like visiting friends rather than strangers. We felt at home in the villa, which was decorated with intention and attention to detail, we could not help but brag to our friends and family about the gem we got to call ours for the week and our incredible host for all that she did for us. I cannot stress enough how much we would recommend this stay. We cannot wait to return.

A Truly Special Stay at VillaLisa

VillaLisa is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, we felt embraced by its island charm and by Lisa and Charlie. This beautifully decorated villa, with its bright shutters and stunning ocean-view balcony, made for an unforgettable getaway.We loved being able to walk to Church Bay Beach, one of the most picturesque and serene spots on the island. It was the perfect place to swim, relax, and take in Bermuda’s natural beauty.The owners made our stay extra special with their thoughtfulness. Everything was set up for us, including some starter food and drinks, the local newspaper each morning, and clear, friendly communication throughout. The villa had everything we needed—coffee maker, toaster, small fridge, stovetop, beach towels, extra blankets, AC, and heat (it was a cool snap when we were there). It was a peaceful retreat, so quiet and relaxing, exactly what we were looking for.If you’re searching for a place that feels like a true home away from home, with gracious hosts and a breathtaking setting, VillaLisa is it.

Amazingly perfect vacation cottage!

Villa Lisa is a heavenly choice if you want to stay in Southhampton. It’s very conveniently located for the bus line, electric car or scooter rental, and walking distance to The Reefs, Henry VIII and the Gibbs Hill Lighthouse. Lisa and Charlie were the most fabulous and responsive hosts. I can’t say enough about all they did to make us feel welcomed and pampered. From fresh flowers, to a stocked fridge, to arranged transportation, to newspapers on our patio table each morning…it just couldn’t have been better. The cottage is well appointed and had everything we needed, and more! The views of the ocean and the lighthouse were magical. We enjoyed our stay so much and will be back as soon as possible! Thank you Lisa and Charlie - this was the best VRBO rental we’ve ever stayed in, and it’s because of your dedication to being awesome hosts!

Could not have had a better experience

Lisa and her husband are gracious and welcoming hosts who enhanced the entire Bermuda experience and were quite delightful in and of themselves. From having someone pick us up at the airport (with a frame-worthy welcome sign) to stocking the cottage with everything you could possibly need, it made the entire trip as pleasant as it was easy. The cottage itself was wonderful; comfortable, with patios for a leisurely breakfast while enjoying the views, a kitchen so you didn’t have to eat out every night (although “The Reefs” was a five-minute walk and had spectacular food and drinks), plenty of space for sitting and reading, and a ten-minute walk from Church Bay if you wanted to snorkel or just sit on a pristine bit of sand and turquoise water. We couldn’t have been happier. Will definitely be back!

I have to agree with all the positive reviews perused before booking this villa. I also confess to feeling slightly concerned that our Villa Lisa hosts' pampering might feel a bit intrusive for us, but Lisa and Charlie were such a pleasure to interact with that I found myself looking forward to a "check in" at the end of each day of our stay. Lisa in fact helped convert what would have been a tiring, disappointing last day into a perfect end to our 5 day first-time-in-Bermuda anniversary celebration when she gently persuaded us to accept a ride to the absolutely beautiful and nearly deserted (at this hour) Horseshoe Beach, for a final stroll and fabulous photo ops, followed by arranged outdoor seating and delicious dinner at "her table" at a nearby restaurant. The complete "package" left us smiling, rejuvenated and so appreciative of Lisa and Charlie's giving, generous nature and knack for making guests feel special. We are so lucky to have found them and their little piece of paradise!

Paradise Found in Lisa & Charlie's Oasis!

It was difficult for us to leave this beautiful island and beautiful property. Lisa & Charlie are impeccable hosts; they were always available, totally accomodating of special requests and thought of so many "extras" to make our stay special: fresh flowers awaiting us, snack and breakfast food items as well as welcome beverages, newspaper on the porch each morning, Lisa's amazing artwork adorning the walls, and even assistance in arranging for airport transportation. Staying here is like visiting your favorite sister and brother-in-law! The neighborhood is quaint, quiet and scenic and is within walking distance of good restaurants, bike rentals, incredible beaches (especially Horseshoe Beach), and Gibbs Lighthouse. We really enjoyed getting to know the island and also the super helpful and friendly Bermudians; all whose paths we crossed were totally helpful and friendly to us! The house is located near public bus stops and we found the bus system to be very convenient to use. Listening to the siskadee birds communicating during the day and the tree frogs singing at night was indeed music to our ears. This vacation was pure bliss!

Spectacular Bermuda Anniversary getaway!!

When you decide to go the whole VRBO route when traveling, you definitely take a “leap of faith “ and hope that it’s not a decision you’ll come to regret… Well, after spending a week in Bermuda at Villa Lisa, we can honestly say that we made the right decision with absolutely NO regrets!! Truly wonderful Bermuda vacation that was, without a doubt, our most memorable and enjoyable rental experience…Everything from the prearranged taxi waiting for us at the airport on through to our final goodbyes, Lisa and Charlie delivered a first class experience that will always be looked back on fondly! Special touches like having several food items stocked up in kitchen upon our arrival, arranging reservations and transportation for us, and making some dining recommendations, to name just a few examples. While some of the other reviews have already mentioned a few of the highlights that add to the overall appeal of Villa Lisa...convenience, location, beautifully decorated, etc... We believe it’s the interactions with the hosts that made our trip so special and what we’ll remember the most… Good people!! Special occasions(30th Anniversary)call for special places…Bermuda and Villa Lisa are that and more…Highly recommended!!

I'm Lisa, I'm an artist. I paint mostly in watercolour, but also love to work in pastel and acrylics. I'm known for my large, oversized floral paintings, landscapes, seascapes and graphic architectural pieces. I studied Graphic Design at Rhode Island School of Design then moved to Moore College of Art & Design in Philadelphia where I obtained my BFA in Graphic Design and Teaching Certification. I taught art for several years at the high school level, then taught private art lessons at my studio for many more years. My husband's name is Charles. We married in 1996 and moved into our cute little cottage called 'Wing Cottage', overlooking the beautiful South Shore. We were both born and raised in Bermuda, Charles was raised in Spanish Point, I was raised in Southampton. When Charlie proposed I told him I could never leave Southampton, so he agreed to move to my parish, a very wise decision indeed! We both have a passion for hospitality. A year or so after we married, we built my gorgeous art studio and have enjoyed many years of exhibiting my paintings and hosting visitors from all over the world. We love to travel, but also love to return to to our beautiful island home.

Location, location, location! We're in the perfect spot! Southampton is a beautiful parish. You can walk to several beaches from our Villa! You can relax on the balcony before and after dinner and just gaze at the statuesque Gibbs Hill lighthouse, it's mesmerizing! Then just face the other direction and gaze at the ocean. Our property is tucked away in a hill, it's in a secluded, private location, but not too remote at all. We have lots out outdoor, garden space to relax in, including three porches. The shrubbery nestles you in while the birds chirp sweetly overhead.
