The apartment features a spacious living room with an extendable dining table, a double sofa bed, a desk, a TV, and a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher; two double bedrooms with a panoramic terrace overlooking the wooded hills and the coast; 1 bathroom with a toilet, bidet, shower stall, and bathtub.

The terrace and garden are furnished with a BBQ, tables, chairs, a beach umbrella, and lounge chairs, allowing you to enjoy lunch or dinner al fresco and experience moments of deep relaxation surrounded by nature.

A quick tip for future travelers and guests: this area of Tuscany, the province of Pisa, is a strategic base for exploring the surrounding attractions. Pisa and its airport are a 50-minute drive away, Volterra is a 40-minute drive, and Florence is 1 hour and 30 minutes away. We recommend visiting the numerous free thermal springs in the inland areas of Tuscany and the wonderful bays in the southern Maremma. Finally, during the peak summer months (July and August), avoid the beaches on weekends and try to enjoy the private pool, which is available to you even at night since it’s perfectly lit.
Finally, my personal opinion.
What guests appreciate most about this villa is undoubtedly the spacious private parking lot in front of the house, which is entirely at your disposal. The quiet, secluded area guarantees freedom of movement and privacy. The chance to enjoy the peace of the countryside while still being just a few minutes away from a classic Tuscan village, where you’ll find bars, wine bars, small and delightful well-stocked grocery stores, traditional restaurants, and pizzerias.
It’s wonderful to enjoy the stunning night sky on warm summer nights, accompanied by the song of crickets and the scent of wild fennel, which envelops the entire countryside with its licorice aroma. The view of the bay from the terrace is breathtaking, both day and night.
There are many places we’d like to recommend in the surrounding area.
Those who choose to stay here during the less crowded months—from April to June—have the chance to immerse themselves in the surrounding green hills by taking advantage of the numerous trails suitable for both hiking and biking. In fact, you can rent bicycles in town for this purpose. Every month of the year is a wonderful time to experience the classic Italian way of life, true to the “dolce vita” spirit: a slow pace, fresh, delicious food, chatting over a great glass of wine, the great outdoors, and plenty of relaxation. In this regard, there are numerous wineries offering the many varieties of wine produced in this area, both in the hills and along the coast.
