We had a fantastic stay at this charming country cottage. It was immaculately clean, full of vintage and retro furnishings and natural wood. A lot of character, plenty of space for the 7 of us (2 cars), everything we needed and super comfy beds! The owners, who live next door, were absolutely lovely. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.The beautiful countryside location was quiet and peaceful with the garden adjoining fields at the back. We enjoyed eating outside, and not just when we were using the fab gas BBQ. We had planned to try some local pubs but got so settled in the evenings that we didn’t go out again! There was a spare TV screen for gaming (we brought our Nintendo Switch) but our late‑teen and young adult “children” and their partners ended up playing games outside every evening instead.We used the cottage as a base for some brilliant day trips by car, including the Black Country Living Museum/ Peaky Blinders tour, some fabulous National Trust properties, Cannock Chase Go Ape and RAF Museum Midlands, as well as city days in Birmingham. It was a convenient short drive to Wolverhampton, big supermarkets and train connections. A wonderful stay all round!
