A stunning infinity pool with a beautiful view of the Tuscan Archipelago and its proximity to Bolgheri, the world-famous Tuscan wine region, further enhance the uniqueness of Castello di San Lorenzo. The extensive restoration of the castle (1100 AD) has created an oasis offering splendid views of the Etruscan coast and the surrounding vineyards and olive groves. Comfort and elegance are the hallmarks of every corner of the property, from the kitchen to the living room, from the bedrooms to the bathrooms, and the magnificent garden with its centuries-old oak trees.
The villa is rented as a whole, and additional services can be provided upon request.
The 700-square-meter property features seven bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and king-size beds: five double bedrooms and two bedrooms with two single beds; the bathrooms feature spacious and comfortable multifunction showers and hair dryers, and one of the suites is equipped with a whirlpool tub. Each room is equipped with an HD SMART TV and air conditioning. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
The spacious and functional kitchen features induction and gas cooktops, 2 large multifunction ovens, 1 high-temperature electric oven specifically for pizza, a microwave, 2 dishwashers, 2 refrigerators, and an espresso machine.
The outdoor seating areas are ideal for guests to socialize, and a large table for outdoor dining is located near the kitchen; a second table is situated near a section of the castle’s surrounding walls, offering a stunning sea view of the Tuscan archipelago, with a fully equipped gas barbecue right next to it.
On the opposite side of the building, two pleasant areas with sofas are perfect for breakfasts and aperitifs. The 4,000-square-meter garden is enclosed by the castle’s picturesque medieval walls and offers secluded reading nooks where you can find privacy and relaxation.
The linear infinity-edge pool with a waterfall boasts a unique view of the Maremma countryside and the Tuscan Archipelago. Surrounding it is a spacious wooden deck equipped with lounge beds, deck chairs, and seating; a magnificent oak tree provides natural shade for this area.
There is also another wooden deck area featuring a 6-person hot tub.
For warm summer evenings, in an area surrounded by the castle’s ancient walls, we have set up a special area called “CINEMA UNDER THE STARS”; a large screen with a state-of-the-art, high-resolution laser projector will entertain guests in the evenings, allowing them to stream movies, sports events, or music using the most popular apps and platforms (just like a smart TV), such as NETFLIX, APPLE TV, PRIME VIDEO, DAZN, ROKUTEN TV, Disney+, etc., etc.,
It’s also possible to arrange a range of extra services at the villa—to be requested at the time of booking and finalized at check-in—such as: housekeeping, a private chef, a private driver, a personal trainer, and a Pilates instructor.
We can also arrange and organize day trips by boat in the beautiful waters off the Etruscan Coast or to the nearby Island of Elba. For wine enthusiasts, it’s also possible to book tastings at the many wineries in the area or, if preferred, right at the villa.
