First of all, thank you Michael for your kind words and for your honest feedback, it was a pleasure meeting you all and we are looking forward to welcoming you in the near future! For our future guests, please be reassured that a few cobwebs are a sign that you are coming to a countryside that still keeps its natural equilibrium, thus when the good season starts, the tiny spiders we have here become relentless workers! As for energy: although it's the first time it appears that we overlooked this matter in our communication, Michael's feedback makes me think we have to better underline this additional aspect. Unfortunately energy costs in Italy are way higher than in most countries our guests come from, in addition to the fact that our property is not connected to the national gas grid (we are too far from it in the countryside), thus we have to rely on liquid gas, that is sensibly more expensive. Please bear in mind: gas is due only for heating purposes (not for cooking), thus only in case the temperatures are unexpectedly low for the season, as it happened in May 2019, or during winter time; Electricity usually accounts around 100 Euros/week, unless keeping light bulbs and Air Conditioning on 24/7.
