It's hard to overstate how great Kiddicott Farm is. Our 6-person family spent Christmas week in Cottage #3, and it was the loveliest experience. I honestly thought it was going to be a little sad in the middle of winter, but the spaces/bed/bathrooms were what my family needed, so I booked it. It was anything but sad. The fields were still green, and there was a flock of sheep passing through a couple times a day. The view was quintessential English countryside--so charming and inviting. The property owner, Malcolm, was the consummate doting host, meeting our every need from the moment we arrived (which was: late, without a vehicle, and in need of groceries until the we could pick up our rental car the following day.) Malcolm drove my husband and me to the grocery store for some breakfast staples (and used his discount card to save us 40%!) Very sweet. When we were having trouble with the internet connection for the TV, he brought over the engineer right away to fix it. He supplied us with specialty cookware and kitchen implements for our Christmas dinner. I could go on, but you get the picture: we were very well taken care of. The cottage itself is well stocked, and notably the windows, interior and exterior doors, and flooring were of the highest quality--which means we had quiet nights and were able to keep the indoor temperature nice and cozy. All the spaces were a great size for our family. It felt luxe and spacious. A wonderful experience. Highly recommend.
