Bouganville

Bouganville (sea view) disposes of 3 double bedrooms, 2 baths, a living room furnished with a bedsofa for two persons and a fully equipped kitchen, a terrace very panoramic with table and chairs for meals outside.
The property is situated Via Sant'Alessandro, a small pedestrian street going up behind the left river close to the arrivals of ferries and hydrofoils (10 minutes by foot).
Ischia Porto is easily reached from Naples by boat, leaving very frequently from the harbour in central Naples "Molo Beverello". The trip takes 50 minutes.
The apartment is situated in a 15.000 square meter private coast property "Villa dei fiori sul mare". It is a beautiful and well kept park with exotic and regional plants and flowers and which has beautiful lanes which goes through the garden to the various separated apartments and down towards the exclusive private sea access.
The property can truly be considered a private oasis but yet very close to the center of Ischia Porto and from where any part of Ischia is easily reached. In 10 minutes by foot you find restaurants, shops, grocery shops, rentings of cars, scooters, bikes, and the main bus and taxi station.
The private access to the sea is equipped with sunbeds, chairs . There are several platforms going down towards the sea, with reserved private spaces for each apartment (Gelso Nero - Ciliegio-Bouganville) , but it's not a beach.
The other longer sand beaches are situated 15 minutes on foot from the house (next to the main shopping street Via Roma) and
the small beach "Spiaggia degli Inglesi" is situated about 400m from the house.
The price includes bedlinen and towels for the bathroom, but we ask our guests to kindly bring towels or pareos for the sea

This was an absolutely spectacular property. While it does take a bit of effort to get to the villa- its well work the walk and it represents the entire island so typically. Roberta was in communication constantly and was incredibly attentive. She even helps us get luggage up the hill to the beautiful property. It was located in a great area with plenty of shopping and places to eat. With the market right at the base of the hill there was places to buy food and drinks. We will be back!!

The house is beautiful. Not a lot of amenities. I would have thought a house this nice would at least throw in some shampoo. The towels are laughable. Think motel 6. The instructions for recycling were very sparse. We had no idea what to do. The view is outstanding. The walk up the hill is not for the faint of heart. Extremely steep. All in all a very nice house but could use some upgrades in terms of amenities.

If you're looking to stay in the town of Ischia, this is a fantastic option. As other reviewers have noted, it's an oasis just minutes from the bustling port. Those views don't come without a readiness to walk uphill or climb stairs, but as Roberta, our contact on site, accurately said, "it's worth it!" She was a great help, very friendly and communicative. We had a couple small maintenance issues, including one of the A/C units not working properly, but everything was addressed quickly. Highly recommend this place and we will definitely stay again should we decide to return to Ischia.

Idyllic spot

This was an absolutely perfect place to stay in Ischia - scenic, charming, and felt like our own private oasis while visiting the island. We really loved it and hope to return!

Beautiful spot

This is a gem of a place. Beautiful views. Very convenient to the Port but removed enough from business. The place was spacious, clean and the AC works well. Eat at Enzo’s for great pizza.

Excellent location and views, average interior. Worth the money to wake up to the view. The location is not accessible to people with limited mobility or poor health, the listing should make that very clear.

Wonderful place and I would recommend it to anyone.

We loved Ischia and had the best pasta at dal Calabrese. I made a mistake and Mariolina was wonderfully gracious along with her staff.

Three Nights in Ischia

We had a really nice time here. Definitely would recommend. Beautiful views from every room. Hope to come back. Nataly was very helpful checking us in and showing us the grounds. We were lucky with a rainy day and small crowds at Poseidon, a once in a lifetime experience.

Amazing place, great view, great house.

This place was truly amazing! The terrace is even better than the pictures. Close to swimming, great beds, fully equipped kitchen, host responded very quick if we had questions, a small grocery shop nearby. Watching the sunset from the terrace every night made our vacation one of the best ever experienced! Will definitely go back!

The most magical stay in Ischia

My family and I stayed at Bouganville and we absolute loved it! After searching for the perfect vacay stay - we stumbled upon Bouganville and booked it. Before arriving Roberta was in touch with us helping with our arrival! She was incredibly helpful and helped us call taxis and book some reservations initially. Ischia Porto is the perfect location if it’s your first or second time in Ischia - close to everything easy to walk around in the main city area. This was the most perfect place to stay and the view of the ocean is unmatched. Would stay here 100 times over!

I read every review before booking this villa and it still exceeded my expectations. This was our first visit to Ischia. We traveled with 4 adults and 3 preteens. Though we only stayed for 3 days, we would have been very comfortable for a longer stay. The house was well equipped, air conditioning worked very well, the beds were comfortable and we had more than enough space. I will say - the climb up from the port was difficult with suitcases (and still tough without them!) so this wouldn't be a great option for anyone with mobility issues. However, the views from the terrace were worth the climb! It's breathtaking. The sea access is also a little steep, and it's literally just an outcropping of rocks so maybe not suitable for smaller children. Our kids were older and they loved it, but would definitely recommend swim shoes and a float. It's deep and can get a little rough from the wake of passing boats. Location is well situated to the port side restaurants (10 minute walk) and also some small markets for groceries. It is also within 10 minutes of the bus stop so it's easy to access other parts of the island. The host was great with communication and very flexible with check-in, and the house manager Roberta was so helpful and readily available! Can't thank her enough for making our first trip to Ischia so special. We can't wait to come back!

Beautiful location, lovely home

We loved staying at this home. The view was spectacular. Staff was helpful. GREAT location. The walk to the property was a surprise - very steep hill up, but we got some help dragging our luggage. Our bed was very comfortable, in the master suite. The others were less so. We would, definitely, go back to stay.

We loved it

Just a beautiful location and well laid out spacious apartment. Looks just like the pictures. Close to the port. Just know the cobbled lane to the property involves a hill and then some stairs, not bad unless you have a lot of luggage.

Magical and beautiful place! Highly recommended!

We fell in love with Ischia and adored Mariolina's beautiful home by the sea. The house was charming and the views were unbelievable! The staff was warm and welcoming and Mariolina was so helpful with any questions and coordinating our arrival off the ferry. We are back home in the California but still dreaming of Ischia! We plan on visiting again next year because we can't get it out of our minds. If you want to come somewhere special you will not be disappointed!!!

AMAZINGLY beautiful!

The views from BOUGANVILLE ON THE SEA are breathtaking and the apartment is well furnished. It is a short walk from Ishia port/town which has markets and the best restaurants on the island. If you want activity there is plenty. We hiked, snorkeled and rented a car one day to visit Castello Aragonese, the Mortello gardens and the beautiful beaches. Coming back to this breathtaking view (we had the top apartment) throughout the day and at night was one of the best parts of our vacation.

Beautiful Villa With Breathtaking Views

The property is situated very close to the port and offers beautiful water views from every room. We found it to be a quiet and relaxing oasis, yet still just a short walk down the hill to restaurants and transportation options. We arrived via ferry and our host, Nataly, was waiting for us when we arrived. She walked us to the property and gave us lots of suggestions on things to do, restaurants, and how to get around the island. The weather in Ischia was absolutely perfect and our family enjoyed relaxing on terraces, enjoying the views, and going for a swim at the private beach access point. We’d definitely stay here again!

Fantastic view!!!

We loved our stay. The view was amazing, and the location was good. We had plenty of space for two couples and a dog. The walk down to the water was long, but it was well worth it, as we had a virtually private space to ourselves. There was a hotel on the other side of the small bay, but it was far enough away to give the feeling of private space. The groundsman (who helps get your bags up and down the long, steep alley, as well as showing you around) spoke no English, which wasn't a problem for us, but could be an issue if you don't speak Italian. We had a lovely stay and wished that we could stay longer!
