Riverside Apartment Ljubljana is a beautifully renovated two-bedroom apartment in Ljubljana’s Old Town, offering stunning views of the Ljubljanica River and Ljubljana Castle. The apartment is located in the historic pedestrian center of Ljubljana, making it one of the best locations for visitors who want to explore the city on foot.

Many of Ljubljana’s top attractions, including the Triple Bridge, Central Market, Ljubljana Castle funicular, and numerous restaurants and cafés, are only a short walk from the apartment.

Despite being located in the car-free Old Town, guests benefit from complimentary parking in a secure residential garage just 200 meters away — a rare advantage in central Ljubljana.

Great stay in Ljubljana. Location was great for walking to sites and restaurants. The apartment was clean and well stocked. Communication with Jan was great. Ljubljana was a fantastic base to explore the rest of beautiful Slovenia.

Great location and Appt

This apartment is in a great location in old town. It is nicely done and well stocked. The owner met us to let us in and show us around the home. He had wine in the fridge for us and some snacks as well. I would happily come stay here again!

Prime location and great apartment!

We loved our time in Ljubljana, at least in part because of this cozy space right along the River, on an historic street. Thanks for meeting us at the parking garage and escorting us to the apartment for our early arrival so that we could make our walking tour. We enjoyed the wine and slept well in your beautiful home.

The apartment was amazing - perfect location, excellent views, very clean and Jan had provided everything we could need, including a complimentary bottle of wine. Jan's communication was excellent and he always responded quickly to queries/requests. We also did some private tours with Riverside Tours (arranged by Jan) and these were also excellent. I would definitely book the apartment again for a future stay in Ljubljana.

This apartment is in a great place, if you want to be in the middle of Ljubljana. It is upstairs from some great cafes, but that also brings a bit of noise. It was no problem for us, but it is not super quiet. There are also four flights of stairs. Again, for us, not a problem, but for folks with limited mobility it could be. Overall we loved it.

Ljubljana Visit to Slovenia

My brother and our wives stayed here for a long weekend to visit distant relatives South of ljubljana. This apartment was fantastic for our trip. Well appointed and walking distance to great sites. Owner communicates very well. Gotta e in shape to carry luggage up 2 flights of stairs. Pack light. Lol

Perfect place to stay in Ljubljana! The apartment is beautiful, in a great location, and has amazing views out the front windows. It is well cared for and kept in excellent condition. The host was professional, helpful, and great at communicating. We also loved how many little details were provided to make our stay more comfortable: a full size washer and a separate full size dryer (not common in Europe), power adapters, bottles of water and coke in the fridge for us when we arrived, plenty of pillows and blankets ... if you're traveling to Ljubljana and you don't need an elevator to climb a few flights of stairs, stay here!

I lived in this apartment through the '90s, back when Novi trg was simply my neighbourhood rather than something I'd think to describe to anyone. When I eventually moved out of the centre, I couldn't bring myself to let the place go — so I renovated it instead, and now I get to hand the keys to people who are as curious about Ljubljana as I was when I first arrived.

What I love most is that this square never really performs for visitors. On Sunday mornings a brass band sets up in the shade right by the building and starts at 11 — you'll hear it from bed with the window open. Once a week the antique market spreads out below, and you can stand at the window with your coffee and watch people turn over old cameras, medals and lace tablecloths before deciding they can't live without them. The river is thirty seconds away, the old town and the castle are a short walk up, and every bakery, café and market stall you'll actually want is close enough that you'll never think about a car or a bus.

It's the kind of neighbourhood where you leave in the morning without a plan and the day works out anyway. That's why I stayed as long as I did, and it's why I still haven't quite let it go.

Ljubljana’s caffès, restaurants and landmarks are just a footstep away - our location is perfect for exploring Ljubljana by foot or as a base to explore the whole Slovenia! And as a bonus, there is a free parking in the residential garage for our guests
