Family Fun

Villa Barcelonacoast is ideal for accommodating large family gatherings with plenty of space and two individual pools ideal for children and adults. Plenty of seating areas and table space if you decide to eat in. A car is a must as the walk back up from the town is not for the faint hearted. Giovanni is a great host and always available should you need anything. Definitely recommend the private chef for a night in

Perfect location for workation

A very nice villa with everything you need! The host is fantastic, he has to everything an answer or solution. The environment is quite and peaceful. Within 5 min you are at the small town Argentona and in 15 min at the beach. Barcelona is only 35 min away! If you like hiking you are in the right place too. If we are going to plan another workation, we would definitely go here again!

50th Trip

The Villa is excellent and the position/view is stunning located on a hill. The local area in Argentona is in walking distance and has some very nice restaurants. We had hire cars or used taxis to go further afield. Giovanni was a fantastic host and was always on hand for advice and tips whether that was deciding on activities, choosing a restaurant or booking a taxi. Couldn't have been more helpful (and thanks for arranging the paella😊) All in all we really enjoyed our stay very much.

Lovely Stay

We had a wonderful stay in Argentona. It’s a small coastal town outside of Barcelona. Our host Giovanni was amazing in every way. Truly the best host we have ever had and we have rented a lot of homes. There were 9 of us spanning 4 generations. The house fit all of us comfortably. It had everything we needed especially cribs, highchair, etc. The rooftop pool was fantastic and the stunning views from the front deck were amazing morning and night. The house is in a good location if you are planning to go to Barcelona and neighboring town up the coast. We had wonderful time.

Giovanni is an exceptional host. The villa is lovely, in a picturesque setting, with plenty of space for our family group of 13. Each family unit enjoyed a suite of rooms with a private bath. The large dining room was ideal for our dinners cooked by the talented Chef Betsy, a private chef who Giovanni sourced for us. We enjoyed the stunning views from the balcony and spent our nights enjoying the vistas, conversation and beautiful breeze. Our kids especially enjoyed the pool and swam daily, often multiple times a day. Giovanni was a great resource, advising us as to local attractions, transportation, etc. He was always available and responded promptly when we had questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Barcelona Coast and everything that the Barcelona area offered

Incredible Villa Experience

I recently had the pleasure of staying at one of the best villas I've ever experienced in Argentona, Spain. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the property. The villa offers plenty of open space, making it perfect for large groups (we were a party of 12) to spread out and relax. The highlight was undoubtedly the stunning pool and the breathtaking views—something you could admire all day long. Our host, Giovanni, was exceptional and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay, which made all the difference. We also had the pleasure of booking Betsy, the chef, who truly elevated our experience. She prepared delicious breakfasts, a fantastic charcuterie spread, and a mouthwatering paella that we'll be talking about for a long time.Whether you're looking for relaxation, amazing food, or a stunning view, this villa has it all. Highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in the area.

Outstanding Property

From the moment you walked into the property you know that this was special from the unbelievable kindness of the owner to the standard of accommodation on offer. We met Giovanni on arrival who was great in his explanation of the property and the area, he also helped us with taxis and booking restaurants. When ever we needed help we WhatsApp him and he answered almost immediately. The property was very spacious and contained all that one would want for a large group. The swimming pool is safe and outstanding as is the spar alongside. I will remember for a long time the outstanding views from the balcony whilst drinking my coffee in the morning or my glass of wine at night. Thank you Giovanni for making our holiday special

First Class Holiday Home

The property was perfect for 8 of us who has been let down the week before when our original holiday was cancelled by the operator. From the first message, Giovanni was kind, caring and attentive and that was how he was throughout our entire holiday. I can't recommend this property highly enough. There was loads of room and plenty of places to be with others or to be on your own. The pool area is divine with plenty of seating and loungers and gets the sun most of the day. Giovanni checks the pool every other day but is not intrusive at all and comes and goes without you even knowing. Giovanni also arranged Barcelona Chef, Betsy, to visit and cook us the most amazing paella and sangria. We'd never tasted anything like it before and will remember it for a long time. Her skills are second to none, if you do anything during your time at the villa, please get Betsy to cook for you. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Barcelonacoast. Gràcias Giovanni and Betsy with kindest regards from all of us.

An Excellent Weeks Holiday

The information which was given after booking and before our arrival was useful and accurate. I spoke with the host/ owner Giovanni Frittoli before our arrival and he could not have been more helpful. We were a party of 21 ranging in age from 7 to 84 and arrived in dribs and drabs which was no problem.as I met Giovanni at 1600 and he gave me a full explanation on the villa and its equipment The house was immaculate with all facilities and we wanted for nothing. It is fitted with TV, internet and mobile telephone and coverage and reception is excellent. Giovani was keen to assist us in every way and apart from a full area information pack in the villa he provided us with any other details which we required. The pool was well used and maintained early each day. Beaches water sport facilities are available nearby. We cannot fault our holiday in any way and were grateful for local advice, assistance and support when required. Giovanni arranged for a paella to be prepared for us one evening which I can only describe as superb It was a super holiday enjoyed by all, thank you.

What an amazing stay!

Myself and friends rented this amazing villa off the owner for 5 nights. We arrived at around 12:30am and Gio still stayed up for us and showed us around and was so welcoming. The house is amazing with everything you could ever need. Cleanliness is good, all amenities you’d ever need and plenty of space for relaxing. The house is on a steep hill, so walking could get tough for people not used to it or if not you can rent a car which is cheap with plenty of parking outside the villa. The positive for the house being on the hill is the views, they are amazing! From most bedrooms you wake upto the sunshine beaming in 🙌 The local town is a 10 minute walk which is lovely! Gio was the best, whenever we needed something or to help us order some taxi’s… he was there, best host I’ve had in a long time. On our last night Gio organised a private chef to come to our villa and cook for us. This was the best decision we made, she was amazing and the food was delicious! If you get the chance to do this… ITS A MUST!! Thank you Giovanni for the best time and we would definitely return.

I wonderful holiday escape

We booked our holiday for my partners 40th in Jan 2020 before the Covid Pandemic and this put a lot of uncertainty around the trip! Giovanni was an excellent host and provided excellent communication over the following months including offering us options to rearrange over and above what HomeAway were able to offer if we were unable to travel and even offering us free additional rooms in other neighbouring properties when Spanish rules changed to only allow groups of 10 people. The Villa was immaculate and professionally cleaned to ensure our stay would be safe during the pandemic. Our travels outside the villa always felt safe as everyone was wearing face coverings at all times and there are plenty of options for eating/drinking outdoors in Barcelona. If you are nervous about travelling during this time, I would say this is probably one of the safest options you could choose. The Villa itself is fantastic with amazing views. You could happily spend a week here cooking BBQs, sunbathing and swimming in the pool and enjoying the views and enjoying some hilly walks without even going into Barcelona if you wanted to be risk adverse during this time. Thanks again to Giovanni for making our stay so comfortable. A+

Thank you so much Mike for your fantastic review. It was a pleasure to have you here visiting. I am sorry your visit was during the 15 days where local rules changed to only allow meetings of groups of maximum 10 people for the Covid emergency. But i am glad you had a good time in spite of limitations. We hope this sad Covid's emergency will finish soon for everybody. Meanwhile we do our best to make our guests feel as safe as possible having fun in the property. Thanks again Mike!!

Birthday celebrations

From our first meeting Giovanni we new he would be a good host. We were a family of 16…9 adults & 7 children & the property was very accommodating. We all had a wonderful time at this special villa with beautiful decor. It is a fantastic house with lots of space so we were not on top of each other. The kitchen is very well equipped with plates , glasses & fridges etc. The children/adults had a great time at the pool which was always clean. Plenty of space to sun bathe. It was lovely sitting on the large veranda in the evening having dinner as the view over the mountains, village & sea in the distance was spectacular. It was close to the beaches which was a bonus (10 mins) & also the water park where all the wee kids & big kids had a great time. We felt safe as the villa has a good security system. Giovanni was an excellent host available at all times. We had a problem with our camper van & he helped get it sorted which we could not have done without his help. He spent half a day with my husband getting the necessary parts &helping to repair it. Nothing was a problem to him. On our last night Giovanni organised for Barcelona chef , Betsy to cook for us. She was brilliant & the food was delicious. Definitely recommend this. Highly recommend this villa. Thank you Giovanni for being the best host, we hope to return in the future.
