We loved our stay at Can Felip. Beautiful decor combined with functionality ensured we wanted for nothing. The roof top terrace was a special space, both day and night for lounging in the sun, pre dinner drinks, and bbq for dinner. Highly recommended.

The apartment had lots of character and was very comfortable. The. Outside patio was private and spacious. We met the host and they were lovely. Parking was a bit of an issue. We found free parking about a 10 minute walk away. It was a great place to access Girona and some of the other small mediaeval villages. The close proximity to the ocean was also convenient.

Great Location!

Overall our stay at Can Felipe was excellent; the best location within Palafrugell.However, there is no cooker, only a hob which wouldn’t have mattered if we were staying for a week, but a month was a bit restrictive. That said, there is an excellent bbq on the roof terrace and some good restaurants.

Cute penthouse apartment in the center of Palafrugell

Nicely decorated apartment with big terrace and solid equipped kitchen. Free parking not possible in the city centre therefore, you need to walk a little. Overall would warmly recommend.

We enjoyed the apartment and the town of Palafrugell and the parking was very convenient. The old furniture was very dusty inside so we had to unpack our clothing into the drawers under the couch in the living area which was not very convenient. The kitchen was well equipped but there could have been some basic essentials provided such as salt, pepper, oil etc as well as coals and lighting options for the barbeque. However, overall it was good accomodation.

Had we known this, we would have sent the cleaning lady immediately. Regarding consumables like salt, pepper, oil, and specific cooling/lighting options, these vary by guest and, as a tourist rental rather than a hotel, we don’t provide them. Geschmackvolle Wohnung in zentraler Lage

Die Wohnung ist im dritten Stock eines historischen Gebäudes. Die alten Möbel, Bilder und Farben passen gut dazu. Das Bett hat eine bequeme Matratze, die Küchengeräte sind neu und fuktionieren einwandfrei. Bad, Küche und Möbel waren sauber, unter dem Bett und in den Ecken müsste auch mal wieder gereinigt werden. Trotz der zentralen Lage am Marktplatz ist es nachts ruhig.

Fabelhaft

Eine sehr schöne Wohnung, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und unseren Urlaub hier sehr genossen. Kann man nur empfehlen und wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Unglaublich schön ist auch der Markt gleich vor der Tür, wo man alle Lebensmittel tagesfrisch erhält inclusive eines großen Fischmarktes. Die Verkäufer sind alle sehr herzlich und auch die Menschen in der Stadt grüßen mit einem Lächeln. Unsere Bewertung ist Daumen nach oben. Die Spülmaschine könnte jedoch mal nachgeschaut werden und für 4 Personen zum schlafen ist das Sofa nicht zu gebrauchen aber für 2 top.

It is a nice spacious property, with a lovely roof terrace, however their are many many steps going up to it and for a few people this would be a problem!

Superb Penthouse Apartment

We are travellers from Canada who spent the last week of a six week vacation in Enric and Gemma's Cal Felip apartment in October. We stayed in the fourth floor penthouse apartment and it was perfect in every way. This beautifully restored home in the centre of town has three apartments and our accommodation was awesome. We appreciated the age of the building and the artwork and furnishings blended in so well. Everything was clean and tidy and well equipped. The owners, Gemma and Enric, were a pleasure to deal with while Laura, our contact in Palafrugell was very knowledgeable about the area and most helpful with information regarding the town and also places to visit. We enjoyed the town and spent time meandering and talking with shop keepers and going to the market. The bar on the ground floor was a favourite spot for our morning cappuccino! We recommend side trips to Callela for hiking along the beautiful shoreline. Begur, Pals and other small towns are a short drive away and are worth a visit for sure. We definitely recommend Cal Felip for travellers and we hope to return In the future.

Lovely apartment with veranda on the 4th floor.

We really enjoyed our stay, the apartment is exactly as described, a large kitchen with dining table and a spacious bedroom with big double bed at one end and living room area at the other. The building itself is very old and has been renovated with great attention to detail and the finish is superb. The overall look is very charming and we loved our short stay and will hopefully one day come back again. Outside there is a tiled veranda with sun loungers and rack for drying cloths. The shower room is big enough for two and accessible from the kitchen diner. The apartment is on the top floor (4th) and you need to climb stairs to reach it (no lift). This was OK for us, but perhaps not for someone older or less mobile. The apartment also has free Wi-Fi (which was great as no phone signal) and a couple of TV's (that we didn't use). On the ground floor there is a great little bar that also does coffee, breakfast etc. The area is generally quiet and peaceful. The building located in the centre of Palafrugell, which is a large market town a few miles inland from the coast. There are plenty of restaurants very close by and the town has a large street market everyday and an extra large market on Sunday so it's easy to get fresh groceries and local provisions. There is a bus stop at the end of the street, 2 minutes from the apartment and buses run once or twice everyday to Tamariu, Llafranc and Calella de Palafrugel. All are well worth a visit and the coastal walk that connects them is challenging at times but something we'd recommend for the adventurous as the views and landscape are a joy. The owner Gemma was great, very professional and helpful. Making the booking was easy and straight forward. We were a bit late arriving to the property due to a delayed flight, but we were met by the lovely Mrs Laura who was very helpful and got us settled in quickly. The service overall was fantastic and I am very happy to recommend this property and we hope to visit again soon.

sehr schöne Dachterrassenwohnung

Die geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung im 3. OG eines historischen Hauses liegt mitten im lebhaften aber untouristischen Palafrugell und ist dennoch angebehm ruhig. Der tägliche Markt ist nur wenige Schritte entfernt und auch die zentrale Placa Nova mit Cafes und Restaurants ist ganz nah. Wunderschöne Strände sind mit dem Auto in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Einrichtung und Terrasse sind fast noch schöner als auf den Fotos.Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt!
